Really friendly at the check-in / check out. Room was lovely - overlooked the heated pool. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Central location - easy to get to Pier 39 with its restaurants, bars and entertainment.

This hotel was in a great location, which made it perfect. There were two things I would consider again before staying... 1)the cost of parking seemed excessive. I have stayed in nicer hotels where the parking wasn't quite so high. 2) they put us in a room right next to the door leading out to the parking, as well as right across from the ice/vending machines. All night we heard the parking door open and close as well as people getting ice. It made for a difficult sleep. They did however comp the parking because of this. I would stay here again but would request a room not so close to the parking lot exit.

This is money well spent for proximity to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. I was wheelchair bound and access to the wharf activities and dinning is superior. The handicapped features of our room were great. The only drawback is that here are no onsite restaurants or room service. There is a covered hallway access to the Embarcadero behind the pool.

Hotel name and place promise more than it actually has to offer. Overall, clean and good service, yet highly outdated interior and rather cold atmosphere. Not even breakfast or restaurant in the hotel. And TV was still an old tube-model! Additionally, room to street side are very loud, traffic noise enter room starting 5/6 am. If you're expecting a hotel similar to e.g. European Radisson standards, this will be disappointing.

The staff at this hotel is great! Everyone was so helpful and mostly friendly. The location of the hotel in relation to sites such as Pier 39, etc is good and there are some good breakfast places around. The room set up and ammenities leave something to be desired. It was tough to move in the room because if you had the doors to the TV hutch open you couldn't scoot past the bed. Not much room for hanging clothes. To sum it up, my complaints about this hotel are: - the size of the rooms, which obviously leads to difficulty in a good set up of the room. - The rooms are also very poorly lit and at night it's hard to find a mirror near light except for in the bathroom (the light that was on the desk by another mirror didn't work). The cleaning staff was good and I was always happy with the condition the room was in when I returned from a day of sightseeing.

I loved staying here. It was a great location which was within easy walking distance to everything we wanted. The one drawback was the noise. The hotel (and several others) was along a main road, which people traveled all day and ALL night!! I am used to a quiet house, so that may have made it worse for me, but there was constantly cars, trucks, trash trucks, and buses going up and down the road being really loud. I didn't get much sleep. One minor point - the sleep number bed was neat, but you can tell that people have played with them a little. Ours had to have a "special" touch to get it to change.

When we called and reported the ants the staff apologized and said that they would be right up. We were leaving and could not tell if they had been in or not as the ants were still there. We were very disappointed that on this very enjoyable visit to San Francisco, we left some mens articles of clothing and a pair of ladies earings behind. When we called to report that they were left behind in the room, your hotel Lost and Found person said there is someone in your room now and we cannot go into check. They said nothing was reported as left in the room. They said they would check again and call us, but they never did. We have stayed in a hotel in Las Vegas where a sun hat was left behind and it was held for us and returned to us. We stayed in a hotel in Japan and left of all things underwear behind. They were not only sent to us at the next hotel we were staying at, but they were cleaned and pressed as well. It is a shame that such honest practices cannot be implemented in hotels in our beloved US everywhere, whereby cleaning staff is trained to report and bring all articles left behind to Lost and Found and all visitor/guests can enjoy the well being of knowing that their belongings will be held for them until arrangements are made to have them claimed, sent or delivered.
