"convenient little hotel"
The hotel is close to a lot of good restaurants and cable cars stops. The room is kind of small and the lobby is kind of crowded.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great view and awesome seafood restaurants"
the hotel was doing renovations so they didn't have their own restaurant operating however there are so many excellent restaurants in walking distance; also the Embarcadero was a beautiful view and my wife enjoyed running along itGenuine Hotels.com guest review
When we first arrived it was very busy but we didn't have to wait to long for someone to help us we were greeted right away. This hotel seems very popular to everyone, it is only a five minute walk from the fisherman warf which is what i wanted. We didn't have to use our car the whole trip ($49 extra to leave at hotel overnight) the great thing about […] the parking is even after you check out you can leave the vehicle til 6pm. It was perfect. The only thing that bugged me about my stay is we checked in and immediately left to pier 39, when we returned around 8:30pm? Our door was open, completely my fiance looked in the room and didn't find no one and our stuff was all there, we told the hotel and they called to see if their employees went in. They said no, but the hotel moved us (upgraded room for free) which I appreciated because I have horrible anxiety, I honestly think it was a employee that lied to them, but it's okay no one was harmed nothing was touched. There is a ihop directly next door, free wifi, and they are undergoing construction (did not bug me at all) you can't here it and I believe they start at like 1030 am. I will defiantly be returning to see the new changes !!! Hope this helps enjoy !!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I arrived very late and the desk clerk was very nice and accommodating. Even the construction was not too bothersome, though noisy at times. I do think that if you say you offer WiFi, you should have some available, but there was none. Also, you shouldn't charge full price during construction. We paid over $250 for the room, and there were a few things […] that were amiss, due to the renovation. I will stay again, but will check on the WiFi thing before I come. "Wasn't amazing but is still nice and clean"
The hotel at the time was undergoing construction so the noice in the morning wasn't very pleasant. However, considering this as a temporary nuisance, the hotel was very clean and in a great location. Additionally the hotel staff were very quick and efficient in getting me in and out of my room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very well positioned, but check-in and out hours does NOT correspond to 1 day - check-in starts just at 4PM and check-out finishes 11AM. Also, during pick time (12pm) so few employees working on reception that wait time was so long! Due some rooms are being updating/in construction, there is a strong smell of taintGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expected"
Hotel is under construction which was not immediately apparent while I was booking. I now see that if I click "See if the hotel has anything planned that may affect you stay" there is an almost throw away message to say that renovations are under way but the disruption will be minimal. Scaffolding came down on my second day slightly less disruptive […] now than when I checked in. I was charged $325 for a room that I would have complained about at $150. I can see why they are renovating because the room was "tired" to say the least, the wardrobe door fell off when I tried to open it, the bath was chipped and looked very unlike a $325 per night hotel bathroom. I had a second night that I had booked earlier using my Club Carlson points for less money, and a discussion with management got me moved to an upgraded room which was comfortable and spotless. Bizarrely the sink was of the pedestal variety and there was nowhere to put any toiletries, I am sure designer thought this looked cool, but it was not very functional. I found the area seedy and more Coney Island than Malibu, loud music from the gift shops permeated the room even with the windows locked and it went on until late. Won't use it again. I booked a room via Hotels.com. When I got there, they did not show my reservation and did not have the king size bed available.Parking is also $49.95 per night.I cancelled my reservation. Did not get a chance to see the rooms for cleanliness.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Radisson should be taken offline until renovated"

"Radisson, Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, CA"
Biggest problem was construction going on during our stay. We were on the street side of Beach & were woke up by trucks operating in the front. However, the front desk was good to move our room to one on the courtyard (also under construction with jack hammers). But, in the end, they moved us a third time to a room on the west side that was quiet. The […] best part of the hotel is the location...walk out on to Fisherman's Wharf, which unfortunately was also closed off due to construction. We still have confidence that when the renovations are finished it will make the hotel even better. IHOP next door for breakfast, or Johnny Rockets. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not bad, but not what I hoped for Valentines Day"
Hotel was being renovated, so was not in good shape. The hotel was kind of expensive for lacking an on-premise restaurant. There could've been more instructions in the room on use of the sleep-number beds. A couple of the room lights were out (shower light). Checkin was slow due to lack of coverage. The shower could've had better rails for getting in […] and out safely. San Francisco has become expensive and crowded. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel from the outside and hallways looked rather run down; however, the room itself was very nice and comfortable. I'd stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The hotel was under a remodel"
The hotel was being remodeled during our stay. Our room smelled like tar for 2 days. There were a lot of street people in the area. I didn't feel unsafe, just uncomfortable. It is really close to the wharf but I discovered that I don't like staying at the wharf.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth the price"
The bed was really hard and the street noise was annoying. I didn't sleep well at all and woke up sore. They are in the middle of renovating so the paint smell was overwhelming in the lobby and there was banging and drilling.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, nice staff, but built like a maze"
Even though there was construction going on the hotel was very nice and unless you plan to stay in the hotel all day you wont hear any of the work being done. The hallways were confusing though because there were so many different turns to go down to actually get to the parking lot located on site so just be careful and remember were you park. "Run down and dirty"
The room was very dark and a bit crammed. I could barely get my suitcase into the room because the entrance was so small. The room felt very dark and dingy. I could hear the people in the room next to me talking all night and doors were slamming, etc. It just felt like I was staying in a cheap motel when actually I paid quite a lot to stay at this hotel. […] The lobby area was run down and dirty as well. I was walking around fisherman's wharf and noticed plenty of other upgraded, clean hotels that I would have rather stayed at. They looked much safer too. I'm a female who was traveling alone on business and I didnt feel safe staying at this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good value for area"
Turns out the rate was so good because they were doing a major renovation of the 4th floor. There was a bit of chaos going on, but it didn't interfere with our stay or comfort. Nice staff. Very close to Fisherman's Wharf and the Alcatraz landing. Homeless people sleeping in doorways around the other side of the building, but that's just the area, not […] the fault of the Radisson. "Major renovation until MAY 2015- STAY AWAY!!!"
We arrived at the hotel to find out that it was going through a major renovation. When I stated that I was not made aware about this renovation, the hotel personnel said that it is posted all over their website and if I booked it through a third party, which I did, it was also noted on the bottom in the fine print. I checked their website and the third […] party website and it is very difficult to read about the renovation unless you click and read every fine print. I could not believe that this hotel is still open during this kind of major renovation. We were all woken up at 7 am to loud construction noises. Dust and construction workers all over. It was my worst experience ever. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ok for short visit. Needs to close during upgrades"
The hotel booked our stay on the 3rd floor as they had renovations going on everyday on the 4th floor. The noise was very loud and disturbing. When we complained the front desk told us the work would stop over the weekend. Not true. The worked until 9:00 pm Saturday as well. The parking fees are very high as well. $56.00 per night. "Property has construction going on"
Undisclosed to us, we were unpleasantly surprised to see the property has major construction going on, breaking and hauling concrete slabs with dump trucks. Extremely noisy and even on MLK holiday. We stayed 1-16 to 1-19, Strongly suggest guests check construction status and hours. We were woken up very early morning by the booming sounds of big blocks […] of concrete being dropped onto the metal surface of a dump truck. Rooms were clean, room service was reasonable. Computer and printer usage has a charge. Very short walk to the wharf. I would not stay here again unless i was assured of the construction and if I ever decide to stay at the wharf again. "BOOM BOOM. Hotel under construction!!!!!"
The hotel was under construction. The hotel and hotels.com should have informed customers of the on going construction. Being awaken by pounding of hammers on my rooms ceiling is not exceptable. "The Radisson Fisherman's Wharf was fantastic!! A++"
The location of this hotel couldn't be better if you are going to do the normal tourist-y stuff; see Alcatraz, walk around the piers, ride the cable cars to China town, Union Square etc. Between walking and taking Ubers, getting to and from the hotel was a breeze. The staff was very accommodating so much so that they let us check in to the room early […] at no cost because they were doing renovations which were barely noticeable. The staff gave us good advice on places to eat and ways to get around town. Everyone was very polite and professional. The room was clean, bed was comfy (it was a sleep number), and the room was spacious for San Fran. Overall I was very pleased with my stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great for staying near Fisherman's Wharf!"
The staff at the Radisson Hotel Fisherman's Wharf was incredibly nice and helpful. We stayed for 8 days and had a lot of interaction with them, and they were always willing to help out with whatever requests we had. Additionally, the concierges were extremely helpful -- I encourage anybody staying there to make use of them for tours, restaurant reservations, […] and advice. You couldn't ask for a better location if you want to be near Fisherman's Wharf. They are steps away from Pier 39, the crab stands and major restaurants, Ghiradelli Square, and more. I can't say much about the overall hotel condition because they were just beginning a complete remodeling. The rooms were nice enough as they were, but I think they are all being upgraded further. I know some have complained here about the Sleep Number beds. And yes, repeated use has made the buttons less sensitive than would be preferable, but the staff told us how to ensure we used it correctly and we were quite happy with them once we figured it out. When in doubt, just ask! One thing to note is that parking is an additional fee (about $50/night). I saw some reviews here acting like this was crazy, but it's just the way it is in San Francisco, especially Fisherman's Wharf. There isn't much you can do about it, and their prices are competitive. (And good luck finding a place to park otherwise!) All in all, a great hotel for anybody who wants to stay near Fisherman's Wharf! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great locaction - under construction!"
Great location, but entire 4th floor was under construction and we could not use the walkway to quickly get to Fisherman's Wharf as we were hoping to do.
