2 out of 4 elevators did not work. Told to park in a back section of lot but doors would not open there. Card keys when issued (3) did not work without going back to front desk each time. The location of the hotel can't be beat, it's perfect. But the location of the hotel room is a tricky subject. We were stuck in room 2041 and were right next door to an elevator. "Beds were broken and so was phone"
We were in a sleep number bed room and the beds were broken. Sleep number beds are insanely uncomfortable if they are not at the right setting for you - so it was awful. We LOVED it!!! Could not have been happier. We were treated so nice and someone had heard me mention that we were there to celebrate my 2 daughters milestone birthdays and when we went out to dinner the first night they had surprised us by having a birthday card signed by all the staff along with a huge Ghirardelli Chocolate Bar and some gourmet kettle […] corn, totally unexpected! Housekeeping even organized some jewelry & little trinkets that my daughter had left out and about. The room was perfectly clean and the pillows and the bed were super comfy. I very much enjoyed the proximity to Fisherman's Wharf and the easy access to the city-- given that I was only in town for one night I really enjoyed the ability to quickly reach various sites. Hotel staff was also quite welcoming and hospitable. Disappointed by parking facilities, but did receive complimentary handicap parking. After checkout, found a bogus $75 charge on my account. When questioned, they said it was for "incidentals". Response by Radisson Hotel Fisherman's Wharf I have to say that I wish we could trust folks, but as they say, what you do for one you must do for all and of course, as the other saying goes, a bad apple ruins the whole bunch. That is why, unfortunately, we must always stick to getting a credit card hold at check-in, though we do make sure that booking confirmations remind guests to provide the card and identification when they arrive. Other hotel groups throughout the city do require the same kind of credit guarantee from all guests equally, though we are always happy to place the hold on another cardholder's account given proper paperwork. Thank you for staying with us, and please know we did not mean to offend.

PROS: Location is right on Fisherman's Wharf if that is what you are looking for. Good rate. Easy check in and parking and the employees were cheerful. CONS: Kind of a half-baked remodel of an old Howard Johnson-type hotel. Booked based on pictures of newer rooms and claims of sleep number bed. However, the renovation was very surface level - the bathtub/shower […] appears not to have been touched since the 50's, paint splatter, etc. The sleep number bed didn't work, so was stuck on what appeared to be the hardest setting and the A/C unit was stuck at about 76 degrees, so, together with the street noise coming throught the A/C unit and loud hallway noise levels, not great sleeping conditions. Substandard. The Temperpedic bed in my first room deflated. This was at 8:30pm, after I had showered and relaxed for the night. So, the hotel decides to move me, meaning all my bags had to be packed etc. The room I was moved to had a malfunctioning climate control and the room would get scorching during the day due to the exposure of the sun, then mild […] at night.
