Blankets were not comfortable, the man up front Didn't know what was going on and breakfast At 7 am was completely gone.Genuine Expedia guest review
I travel a lot and I payed for two nights and not go back for my second night the room was kind clean the rest of the hotel was a mess trash in hall ways people running up and hall all night tv worked half way I would not recommend staying at this hotel there are other hotels I the area same cost that are much better like the silver cloudGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not safe, not worth it"
If you both want a good night's sleep and to feel safe, then don't stay here. A loud party on Saturday night was still going strong at 4AM with people running around in the halls and spiking beer bottles under tires in the parking lot. The front desk did not answer the phone so they won't help you if you have a problem. It is not worth it.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is conveniently located a few block across the UW campus, right across to the U Village, although the condition of the hotel is not in its good shape.Genuine Expedia guest review
this wasnt the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed at. They didnt have any roll away beds avaiable either they said they only keep a few in the whole hotel the tv was discolored also. i would not stay at this hotel again espically for the price. the staff was VERY NICE though!Genuine Expedia guest review
Good budget accommodations for the area. Parking is very tight. A little noisy at night, but in general, okay, especially at the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
To enter the hotel it required sliding the key card in at least 12 times before the outside door would open. We stayed 2 nights and there was no maid service. We had go to the front desk to get clean towels. It is a great price, but a small step above a dive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It is marginally acceptable with very basic service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
i had looked at a lot of hotels and reviews before i made the reservations. our plans included a wedding and then time to site-see. the reviews were mid range...the location was north of down town...fridge, microwave and free parking. the hotel is older, but comfortable. the staff was great...the breakfast was good. fruit, waffles, dry cereal, milk, […] coffee, juice, toast, muffins...if you expect a 5 star hotel...you will be disappointed...but if you are traveling on a budget...this is a great place...the only thing that they would need to do extra would be to have a high-chair in the community room. there were families with young children that could have used one. i would stay there again if we were ever in seattle again. pleasant 10-15 min walk from stadium. we stayed in the "apartments." very dated. definitely a lot of room, but just kind of creepy.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Right in the U District"
This hotel is very conveniently located in the U District if you're planning on visiting the University of Washington. Right across the street from restaurants, stores and coffee shops. The main campus is a bit of a hike up a steep hill so you'll probably want to drive even though it's less than a mile away. The hotel itself is nothing to get excited […] about. It's pretty clean. Some of the rooms are newly renovated. It's a place to put your stuff and sleep while you're there. What more do you want? Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I stayed in a very large two bedroom apartment. The place was very run down. you could really hear all the noise from the surrounding rooms. I've stayed in way cleaner rooms for less in the same area. The overall feeling is that no one cars about upkeep or cleanliness. There was left over food in the fridge, no toilet paper and the couch was a mess. […] Not worth space or the dirty kitchen. defiantly will not be staying there again. "Not a good hotel"
The shower warter is so weak and the water temperature is extremely hard to control, which makes me felt like in India's squatter camp.Genuine Expedia guest review
only negative was hot water took a long time to get to my room. breakfast was great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you pay for....."
We were in need of an inexpensive place to stay in Seattle with two bedrooms, I was intrigued by the price and the comments that the hotel was recently renovated. I wasn't aware that the section we were staying in was not part of the renovation. The woman warned us when we checked in but I wish that was more clear on the website when we made the booking. […] The two room suites have very thin walls, rotting balconies and on tiny bathroom, with a toilet that felt like it was going to fall over. But considering the cheap price, I can say you get what you pay for. The breakfast area was pleasant and the staff was very friendly, just wish I had known that the 2 room suites where in such a shamble prior to booking. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for"
It's a very tired motel; the rooms need to be overhauled; the room smelled like mildew.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hot water shortage"
We stayed here for one night, and that will be our last. The thing we'll remember the most was that initially there was no hot water. After turning on the shower for a really long time, the water finally heated. The desk clerk said that new pipes (or something having to do with the plumbing) caused the delay. Unfortunately, the hot water didn't last. […] By the time my husband's shower ended, the water was cooling down. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Could be Cleaner"
Our shower was not clean and the room looked a bit unkempt, but for the location and the price (and that we were only staying overnight) the hotel was just... fine.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Filthy as can be!"
Two out of two, 2br suites they tried to give us had so many body hairs in the bedding, stuck to the blankets and comforter and general dirt in the sheets/blood on the comforter, we left! The front desk staff was nice about it but we felt like we needed to shower once we got to a real, clean, new hotel. Never, ever going back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wish I would have known..."
"Boiler keeps turning off and on". Thats why none of my family got hot showers. BUT, the breakfast was fabulous. The beds were comfy, and it was super easy to get to husky softball.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Travellodge was conveniently located for our purposes. It was otherwise a disaster. We had no hot water for two days. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, the carpet was questionable. It smelled like they had sprayed some kind of disinfectant throughout the building. The staff was nice, but the place was run down. We would […] not stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent hotel for the money"
excellent location to go to univ. of washington (0.7 mile to HUB, walking time 15 min). a big shopping centre across the street. nice hotel with simple breakfast, i mean simple, but serves its purpose. staff is nice, free parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"good hotel with fair price"
The hotel is not very fancy, very basic motel looking but with good in room facilities like microwave and fridge. not fancy but very practical. staff was friendly. the hotel is right next to university village(mall).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beds very comfortable, key cards didn't work"
The room was comfortable but we had to have them vacuum and dust it because it had a layer of dust everywhere. It may have been from recent construction. It was a very thick layer of dust. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Key cards failed us almost daily and we had to go to the front desk and have them reset.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Decent Place To Stay"
This is a budget hotel in a convenient location. The motel is older and could use some freshening up but our room was clean and comfortable. The minor problems we did encounter were promptly corrected. The staff was friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to UW Medical Center"
While the hotel is old and a little run down, renovations are being undertaken to improve the appearance. That being said, the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean, and the location was extremely convenient to the UW Medical Center, which is why I chose it. The hotel is across the street from the University Village mall, which […] also makes it convenient for shopping and meals. Would definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was dirty. Hotel is loud. My room didn't smell like smoke, but the surrounding hotel did. Maids were very friendly but desk staff was not very helpful. Continental breakfast was okay. Not gonna go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay"
I loved the size of the room I got for the price I got it at. The apartment sized room is perfect for two people looking for lots of space or for a group of people with a great alternative to several rooms. The hotel was just minutes from the U-District which is filled with lovely shops and Blue-C one of the hottest sushi joints around. I will definitely […] make this my choice hotel when coming into Seattle in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"UW Medical center"
Old, and kind otel. Kind of costly for the age and condition of hotel. But served its purpose with 2 bedrooms and a living room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location with free parking"
I really liked the location and free parking. Very close to downtown and neighborhood was very quiet. There are some restaurants and bars near the hotel and I think it is very convenient:) Enjoyed our stay a lot.Genuine Expedia guest review
The location next to UW was great. The hotel overall should be leveled and a new one built at the same location. We had a room that looks like it used to be a 2 room apartment. Dirty and old.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed in a building that had been apartments at one time. We had a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a large dining/living room combination. The size of the unit was wonderful, but the building needs some serious upgrading. Several electrical outlets didn't work, the air conditioner/heating unit was held in place with masking tape, closet doors were […] hard to open and close and the walls between the units are very thin. Any conversation or movement in the adjoining units ould be easily heard. All that being said, the proximity to the University of Washington Medical Center made our visit much less stressful and the staff were always more than helpful. There is a large shopping center across the street with good restaurants and a large grocery store. We would stay here again. if the need arose. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful staff, great price, great location!!!"
I stay here several times a month on business and love it. It is an older property but they are slowly upgrading it so in another year or so it will be 5 star for me.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient to Campus"
Not very many options around UW campus, this is probably the best for the buck.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would Stay Again"
If you are looking for an inexpensive, clean hotel this would be it. I had a medical appt at the U and needed a cheap but comfortable place for the night. The hotel is located next to shopping center and restaurants and close to the medical center. I would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place to stay thats inexpensive."
I stay here all the time. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean and its quiet. It is also easy to find and very close to shopping and restaurants.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good basic place for a 1-2 night stay"
You get what you pay for. This is a simple, basic motel-ish place that serves the purpose of lodging a few nights without overspending. I appreciated the free wifi in the rooms, which worked well and wasn't slow. The free wifi was one of the reasons I chose this Travelodge over other cheap alternatives. Complimentary breakfast was a plus too (although […] don't expect much from the b-fast, again, very basic.) The one thing that bothered me a bit was the loud air conditioner/heater in the room. The rather loud humming got annoying after a while but it didn't keep me from sleeping. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fabulous. Staying again soon"
Friendly staff. Fabulous shopping and eating across the streetGenuine Expedia guest review
"Musty, Moldy, and Noisy"
I did not like my room - musty, moldy smell with overtones of chlorine bleach. It also smelled like folks had been smoking in the hall. My room was probably the worst in the building location-wise - closest room to a noisy street; ear plugs came in handy for sleeping. Only good things I can say was that breakfast was included and was decent, and it […] was 4 blocks from my sister's apartment, which is why I stayed there in the first place. But never again. "Pretty good hotel."
The room was large, the bed very comfy. Everything was fine, except the shower. The water temperature varied extremely - from cold to scalding. Most uncomfortable to shower.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to UW"
room was small. they do not have irons and ironing board - you have to request it. i requested ahead of time and thought it would be in the room -- they did not have arrange that but i had to carry the big board + iron to my room which was on 2nd floor on the other side of the building - that was annoying. they also make you sign the sheet and you have […] to return the iron and board... the heater was extremely loud!!! i was going to an interview at university of washington and this hotel was fairly close... i still took a cab because it rained and i had to take my luggage with me. overall i'd give this place 2 of 5 stars. "Nice update to Hotel"
Rooms are in great condition and overall hotel was quiet for most of the night. Early morning traffic outside caused some noise and early morning hotel vaccums. We wanted to sleep in late but woke up around 9:30. Other than that it was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"cheap but bare bones"
All the plugs were too loose to use. Bed was rough. Towels poor quality. It got the job done, but not well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very close to University area and mall"
The room was exactly what we expected. It was close to everything we needed plus was within walking distance of a lot of different things to do. The hotel staff was very friendly. Our one complain is the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. When I asked at the front desk and even pointed out the sign that said it was a nonsmoking hotel, I was told that […] the MANAGER smoked in the lobby and there was nothing they could do about it even though several people complained. Doesn't say much for Travel Lodge. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
