I was traveling by myself and it was a little scary of a location to stay alone. The hotel room was outdated, the bathroom was outdated, and the neighborhood was a little sketchy. I slept with mace in my hand :/ there was a deadbolt and an additional lock too but I was happy to get the heck out of there in the morning.

I and my wife lived in the hotel two days ago. And we really loved this room. The room was very tidy and clean. And the front desk was very friendly. They also provided very fast and free internet, and a good breakfast. Strongly recommend to all people travel to this small city.

Generally ok, but better things can and should be found for that price. The room was large and spacious but the air was almost toxic from bleach. TV signal was very bad as well.

Stayed here during a 3 week motorcycle trip. It was clean. The bed was OK. The staff was friendly. The hotel is outdated, as many are, but not in horrible condition. It's right in the middle of town, so easy access to 101. I've stayed in better and I've stayed in worse. It's a purely average hotel.

We were very displeased with the lodging. This place is extremely tired. Many repairs needed, not sufficient parking, and the pool...wouldn't swim in it on a bet. Room was a non-smoking, however, all my clothes have smoke in them due to the Travelodge Office was heavy with cigarette smoke from the owners of the establishment. If we hadn't prepaid online […] for the lodging we would have not stayed....never again will be stay here. Try the Best Western just down the street or the Comfort Inn in Fortuna. no soap in shower body dispencer, no ice in ice machine (had to go into front office to get ice) swimming pool covered and not usable, breakfast was literally a cup of coffee and the meal was store purchased doughnuts with nothing else. This should not be advertised as breakfast.

Our room was about as clean and comfortable as we expected for the price (aka, dive-y). Note: Make sure you're out of your room promptly at check-out time. We were 15 mins late and the hotel owner/manager came and yelled at us through our open window. Ha.

The Travelodge motel in Eureka was easy to find on southbound 101, but the amenities were few. The shower was really tiny, the TV did not come with a channel list, there was no microwave or fridge in the room, the coffee machine only had one pack of coffee and the "continental" breakfast was very minimal. Sketchy area of town....bed was clean and comfortable with nice linens. Shower was OLD and scary and didn't look real clean....skipped my shower that a.m.! My daughter was the only complaint. She was on the bottom corner room and she said all the springs on the bed were sprung and the room was noisy. The rest of us didn't have any complaints at all and rooms were good and the people who run it were very nice.

The people were really nice. I just needed to sleep for a few hours during a road trip and this place worked just fine. There is also lots of small restaurants in the area, so finding lunch was easy.

Was a quick one night stay and we didn't have any problems with the room or bathroom. There was no weird smell in the non-smoking room like some other hotels that I've been in and it had fairly comfortable beds.

Same problem with the beds. when we arrived it looked as if some one had just slept n the bed a feww minutes ago. The bed shhets are too small for a king siza bed so the bed looks unkepts. Other that nothinbg remarkable. I cannot remember the exact location of the motel

if the neighborhood and staff don't scare you away from this place, you're in for a long night with no sleep. Hotel showed its age. Needs a lot of cleaning. Rugs very dirty. Mold forming on the caulking on the shower. Garbage was picked up right outside our bathroom window at 5:50 am...an extremely loud truck banging dumpster. On the positive side the bed was clean as were the towels.

I am a traveling road warrior for my business. I found the Travelodge in Eureka and am so thankful I did. The owners/management do everything they can to always welcome me and make sure my stay is perfect. My room is always clean, fresh, and comfortable. The shower actually beats the Hilton, Marriott, and any other high end hotel. (trust i know i have […] stayed in them all) I like the location as it is directly downtown, and just a few blocks to the beach. If your hungry for great food there is a local co-op food store across the street from the hotel to grab some fresh fruit, bread, and wine then head to the beach. The co-op always has great soups and build your own freshly made sandwiches. This is an ideal location and place to stay. They must be doing something right (outstanding service) as I have to book ahead of time to make sure I get a room. Thank you to the management and staff for all of your hard work and commitment. We toured the northwest coast which was great but stopping off in Eureka to sleep when driving from San Francisco to oregon. I've stayed in many Travelodges before when on the road and these were all well looked after and in good condition. Eureka Travelodge is BAD. Thin walls means you can ear neighbors TV and conversation. We moved to a room that […] was quiet but still the decor is disgusting and everything is old and tired. This place needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Eureka itself is a horrible place too...... There's nothing there and there are lots of weird looking characters hanging around at night. It was very noisy. A fight broke out a couple of rooms down from us in the middle of the night. The owner/manager? yelled at people smoking outside their motel rooms. We could not turn the heater on, and the hair dryer did not work.
