When I was booking, I asked the guy on phone if you entered through the lobby to get to rooms and he said yes,,,,,,well you did NOT the doors to room was outside. I did not feel safe,,,,, so your people do not know anything about that. He said YES you went through lobby

I couldn't go to sleep because I felt like someone kept trying to open the door and when I get in the bed I was itching and scratching like they didnt wash the sheets the iron was messed up barely any outlets in the room the floor looked dirty it was just horrible

The location of this hotel is very good. The room was ok, but the bathroom needed a little more attention. Housekeeping just opened the door and didnt even wait to make sure we were out of the room. This was a down fall. The continental breakfast was ok.

This was a very nice and comfortable place in a very good part of town and at a great price. It's about 8 miles south of I-10. My number one reason for choosing this hotel was because they offer smoking rooms and for that I was very greatful.

This establishment is exactly what you expect in a motel: four walls, a roof, and a bed. The room was clean, and did not have any unpleasant odors. The non-smoking rooms appeared to be on the second floor, while the smoking rooms were on the first floor. The only complainant is that the bathroom faucet handle was broken.

I booked this room during the evacuation period following hurricane Isaac because it accepted pets and had a swimming pool. Our check-in was delayed by 1-2 hrs because their internet was down. (Unclear if this was storm related, but I don't think so?) I was surprised by a $20 "pet fee"; booking through Expedia I saw nothing about a pet fee. While waiting […] to check in (a full day after the storm had passed 50-100 miles east of Lafayette) guests were using the pool. The next day my 8 yr old went to swim. He got in for a few minutes & realized he forgot his goggles, we went to get them & found the gate locked upon return. Just then, the only "non-family" front desk staff member who seemed to always be outside smoking a cigarette, was outside smoking a cigarette; she yelled, that the pool was closed. Asked why, she said,"the wind". (There was maybe a 10 mph wind possibly a gust to 15??? It was beautiful and sunny.) I called the front desk & spoke to the manager. Expressed my displeasure, that I had paid for a room at a hotel with a pool because I had an 8 yr old that planned to use it. He said if I was unhappy he would gladly refund my money and would allow me 10 mins to find another hotel. Knowing this was not possible. The rooms were clean and sufficient, but need upgrades. Doors open to outside with A/C units blowing hot air onto walkways. The staff member running the continental breakfast... was loaded with attitude as well. I would never stay at this Ramada again nor would I recommend it to anyone that I care about. The carpet feels like sandpaper, the outside paint has rust and peeling paint, the air conditioners' drain over the overhang so you have watch walking on the bottom level. The rooms have a musty look, smell, and feel to them and the pool had leaves and other […] debris in it but was open for use and no one attempting to clean it. Nice swimming pool. Little fitness room that can be appreciable. The room was fine... but a brown liquid was coming from the roof thus a bit weird (nothing crazy but not great). Nice for one night.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a Radiology Convention that was held in a higher priced hotel. The price was worth it. The room was clean and staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was nice for a quick grab on the go in the mornings. I'd stay here again definitely.

Hotel is older with many newer surrounding. All with a price per room stating the obvious. Id rather spend my money on restraunts!!!! Regardless, this hotel is well kept. We had some loud, foul mouth party animals in the rooms above us. I called the front desk and they said they would take care of it. They were still loud. Ended up eventually falling asleep anyway.
