based on quality of hotel, we paid twice what we should have for such a run down place. The best thing about it was a nice parking lot. They did have breakfast available there....some very green bananas and some coffee that after adding 2 packaged creamers to the 8 oz cup - still did not change color.

Travelodge is an older chain, thus their rooms are of the older variety. However, I have stayed at this one approx. 5-6 times over the years and the manager is quick to please. The towels are a bit scratchy, but the price is right.

Burned out light bulbs at check in. Broken door lock at check in. Room not made up one of 4 days (25%). Manager wants to explain her problems with housekeeping...I suspect manager ended up making up room. Save some grief -- stay somewhere else...

The lady was nice. Hard to understand. The rooms need lots of up dating and repair. The carpet was dirty, bathroom shower door had mold on it as well as the shower stall. The bathroom window needed to be sealed in some way to prevent the cold air from whistling through.Would not have stayed the two weeks if we had not already paid:(

IT WAS VERY DISGUSTING AND UNPLEASANT. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN. THE SHEETS AND PILLOWS TO THE BED SMELLED LIKE WET RAG. THERE WAS A CACAROACH IN MY RESTROOM. DIRTY CARPET. I WANTED TO CHECK OUT THE SAME NIGHT!!! NASTY NASTY NASTY ROOMS.

This is a very nice motel. Small refridgerator in the room was turned on and working, and air conditioning was on and working as well....a nice welcome! When I asked where to purchase ice for our ice chest, the hostess pointed me to the motel's free ice (most places don't want you to do that). Very satisfied with our stay.

Worst experience in years. Refrig. gasket was filthy as was pool tile. Sheets were very wrinkled & one bed felt like a mattress coil was coming thru. Could hear next room people coughing. Traffic was terrible until around 2:00 a.m. and started up again around 5:00 a.m. Was not worth what we paid for the night.

Good location - however, Travellodge is not keeping up maintenance on the rooms and grounds. There was litter on the grounds - cigarette butts just outside our room - carpet was ripped - we heard they are going to tear down this motel - just letting it go. We would not stay there again.

Will try to make this review short. Room in POOR condition- person behind desk okay. I like a fairly clean room. This wasn't even close. I made this reservation last minute and price was very economical, however, never again. Everything but the linens were filthy. Carpet-disgusting everywhere; refrigerator and coffee pot- filthy bathroom sink area- […] aweful; tile on the floor in shower was black. I stood on a washcloth to shower. All the components for a good room were there but was so BAD. I apologized to our friends who also needed a room and I offered to make arrangements for them, too, at an "economical" hotel. Would have gladly paid $20 - $25 more a room. To make matters worse, motel is right along busy street that had metal plates laying on top of holes on the street. Anytime I am in Yuma this is where I stay. The rates are reasonable, it's close to everything you might need, the room has a refrigerator, and the staff is always pleasant.

I had the misfortune of spending 4 nights at this establishment, never again. The housekeeping is haphazard and the front desk personnel were dreadful. Room was not ready when I checked in, room was not made-up until 5 pm on Wed 2\01\12, then only after multiple calls to front desk. Front desk woman threatened to not have it cleaned at all because I […] called her. She finally did after a confrontation. The door key only worked spasmodically, had to have it opened by an assistant once. The maid said it wouldn't open for her occasionally. The coffee maker leaked out onto the carpet and was never replaced, even after pointing it out to the maid. There was no stopper in the bath tub so could only use the shower. Waste baskets were left out side the door after emptying and had to take inside personnaly. Read more

We have stayed in budget hotels before but this was the DIRTIEST room I have ever seen. There was used soap in the shower, female feminine product strips behind the toilet. The glass shower door was so caked with soap you couldn't see through it. The TV was so dusty you could barely see the picture! The bathroom had no fan or window. We checked in, room was so dirty, the phone had food crumbs piled in the receiver well, went to move phone and found huge dead cockroach, (better than alive?) half the lights were not working, toilet would not stop running and was noisy and made it hard to sleep. In the morning went to front desk and the manager / owner?? seemed concerned and said "oh […] my , oh sorry, we will fix it" etc.. come that evening when we got back to the room, same food in the phone, same dead roach, same toilet running. I have alot of experience travelling all over, there are a newer breed of inn keepers and they honestly Dont Give a Hoot, they will lie and pretend they care and say they will clean or repair or whatever to solve a problem, but I know.. if I went to that same room tonight, nothing will have changed. I do not normally write reviews, but this was a horrible place, and the owners / managers are stealing good peoples money by charging high prices and providing an unhealthy and unsafe enviorment. The carpeting was dirty, the toilet seat was loose and ready to fall off - I went to the car and got a screwdriver to tighten it before my wife could use it. Also, the flush ball in the toilet tank leaks and the tank refills every 10 minutes - I didn't have a new flush ball or otherwise I would have fixed that too. I informed the proprietor upon leaving in the morning about the loose toilet seat and the leaking flush ball. I was informed that if I had told them about the loose toilet seat, they would have switched me to another room. I told her that she should have a maintenance person that checks out the rooms and makes sure that everything is in working order. She told me that if people don't report problems, the management couldn't arrange to have them fixed. If all the toilets in the hotel are leaking, they must have an enormous water bill which is cutting to their profits and wasting a precious Arizona resource. Read more

Wow! The sheets on one of the beds had been used as a painter’s drop cloth! It had dried paint and putty on it. We checked in at midnight so we pulled off the sheet and went to bed. I do not expect much from a low cost stay, but clean sheets is one that I expect.

Hotel had a good location on a major road. That was really the only high point. The carpets were stained and dirty. The tub was nasty, and would not hold water. There was no stopper provided either.
