Hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was upgraded to a harbor view at no charge, the room was roomy, clean and the bed wonderful. The staff was great and very helpful. The location was in the center of all we wanted to see. Best hotel of our trip.

I liked the location, but it is a very touristy location and the hotel size is suitable for large groups, which I prefer to not be in the same location! The hotel is nice that it is a renovated old building with a nautical theme. But, I will find something closer to Tripoli next time.

The Admiral was very comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were not large, but had all the necessary amenities and the beds were comfy. Breakfast buffet was good with a wide selection of foods-expensive by U.S. standards, but on par with the cost of Danish meals anywhere. My only complaint was the noise in the morning-room […] was on the street side and the delivery/trash trucks seemed to come early. Was looking forward to staying at the Copenhagen Admiral hotel based upon photos on hotels.com and reviews. Our room was a family room meant for three people but the layout was less than desirable. The main bed was located in a loft area up a flight of stairs. Sofa bed and bathroom were downstairs which was very inconvenient. Bathroom was tiny even […] by European hotel standards. All this would have been okay except that during our stay they were doing construction on an underground parking lot on the wharf right outside our window which awoke us at 7 am every morning. Being exhausted after waking up early and touring during the better part of the day, I returned at 3:30 to find the room not made up. The management seemed apologetic but did not offer any concession for either the noise or the cleaning of the room, although they did agree to comp us breakfast the next day. Okay, so this was all day one. Day two was uneventful however , after being awoken again at 7am the next day and a full day of exploring the city, we returned after dinner to discover the heat was not working. The room was freezing and we were told no one was available to fix the heat. They managed to find us another room however, it certainly was not enjoyable having to move all of our things on the last day of our trip. All in all, it was not a very pleasant experience and I would not recommend this hotel. Read more

We loved the hotel and the hotel personnel. Copenhagen however is quite expensive to eat and drink. Restaurants do not stay open late. Our hotel was close to some sights and we just walked and took public transport to the other sights. Enjoyed Tivoli, Carlsburg Brewery, Amaliaborg palace, Nyhavn and other sights--Do not miss them.

It was ok, it would be more convenient if a same-day wash-and-fold service was available. I would advise that anyone staying have no need for laundry facilities, it's hard to find anything nearby.

The location and overall feel of the hotel was good but some parts of the hotel could use a little work. The hotel had a very good location making it an easy walk to just about everything we wanted to see. The overall hsitory and design of the hotel was nice. I was a bit disapointed with the hotel when we actually got to our floor. There was a constant […] smell in the halls - a bit like mildew. The smell was not horrible but certainly noticable. For whatever reason, maybe lack of proper storage, cleaning supplies and spare beds were just stored in the middle of the halls. This really took away from the look and charm of the place. Charming old world hotel with nautical theme. Room was sizeable for Copenhagen standards. Location is excellent, 2 blocks from the popular Nyhavn area made it great for sightseeing by foot. Price was extremely reasonable. I'd highly recommend and would return.

Copenhagen is a beautiful city, but very expensive. It's rediculously expensive. Forty dollars for 1 person for breakfast in the hotel buffet. Great location can't ask for a better location. Save your money and go to Berlin, Germany instead. Half the price and better shopping. And great restaurants

We had room # 120 facing the canal - the room was very hot so we needed to open the window to get some sleep as the hotel does not have aircondition. The loudspeakers of the open air cinema just across the canal were so loud that we had to listen to the entire movie. At 2am we were woken up by a terrible noise - which turned out to be the power pressured […] cleaning devise used to hose down the kitchen right underneath our room. I called reception and complained but the noise kept all awake until 3 am. The next day the same thing happened again between 11 - 12 and 2 am to 3 am! Spent two nights in this very interesting and modern make-over of a former waterfront warehouse. Rooms spacious and clean. Large wooden beams in the ceiling added to the charm. Conviently located near the Little Mermaid and the Nyhavn restaurant area. Staff very friendly and helpful.

It was only ok. The room was very small, with low wooden beams that if you were not careful, would smash your head. The room also faced a busy street, and had no air conditioning, so the windows had to remain open, and the noise of traffic could be heard at night and started early in the morning.
