    The small town of Williams is west of Flagstaff and south of Grand Canyon National Park, at the southern terminus of the Grand Canyon Railway. Trains depart daily from Williams Depot to the park.     Economical option when visiting South Rim. The office was going under some kind of remodeling. The construction started around 8am. If you need quiet place to get a good night sleep, this place is not for you. Office construction, train, car alarm, noise from your next door neighbor... You name it.

    We stayed here as it was close to the Grand Canyon railway and we were planning on taking the train to the Grand Canyon. There are tons of hotels/motels in Williams (an extremely charming town) but this hotel was an excellent choice. The desk staff were extremely nice and professional. The room was spotless and spacious, with a refrigerator. No bathtub […] but that didn't matter as I prefer showers anyway. The complimentary breakfast was the usual standard fare - cold cereal, pastries, bread and a toaster. The only drawback was that there was no inside place to eat. The hotel did, however, provide lids for the coffee cups and trays to take food back to your room. There is an outside eating area, but it was too cool to eat outside while we were there. All in all, its a very nice place to stay at a very reasonable cost. I'll definitely stay there again if I'm in the area. Read more

    The room smelled of dog. There was no bathtub. When we asked for a new room with a bathtub none were available and were told we should have asked for a tub when we booked the room. I didn't know bathtubs were a special request. I'm 60 years old, stayed in well over 100 motels, and never not had a bathtub.

    Rooms big, bathrooms newmy renovated, no breakfast room and no place to have breakfast in the room once you made your way from the reception (where you are supposed to pick up your breakfast) back to your room. All in all I'd expect this from a really cheap motel, but not from a Trvellodge. Staff howe er was very friendly and knowledgeable.

    We were pleasantly suprised at the condition of the hotel because of the reasonable pricing. It was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Williams

    This motel is in a good location, but in disrepair relative to other motels of similiar stature. Rooms were very rundown, dark and in need of repair including the bathrooms. The breakfast room was the lobby of the check-in desk and smaller than a large closet! No place to eat or sit down!

    We were looking for a cheap place for one night and were pleasantly surprised. Beds were decent. Nice newer carpet and bedding. Bathrooms okay, a little out-dated, and the showerheads are much to low for anyone taller than 6'0. No irons/board in room though they have those tiny boards and leaky irons at the front desk. Don't bother with their breakfast, […] eat at Pine Country Restaurant down the road for a great breakfast. Overall though the place served it's purpose for one night in town and was worth what we paid for it. Read more

    everything opens at odd times. grand canyon itself is an hour away. the rooms are freezing, esp the bathrooms. don't believe the free breakfast in the morning nonsense, its two choices of cereal which are old. woo...hoo

    Really enjoyed our overnight stay at Travellodge in Williams,AZ. Got to experience a bit of Route 66. Great pizza at The Pizza Factory nearby. Anyways, the room was clean, no odors, and the service was great. Plus they are pet friendly! The only downfall was the breakfast, there was not many options.     The room was nice and clean. The water pressure in the shower could've been more, but it was sufficient. The microwave in the laundry room was a bit dirty, but at least there was one. Had a fridge in the room, and it worked well. It was a nice place to stay on Route 66.

    The rooms were very clean and newly painted with new carpeting. The bathroom was a bit small and cold in December. The beds were comfortable. The heating units were loud. Would recommend for a night stay.

    best deal, especially since other hotels have signs that say "no pets". great deal for the money. the pillows were kinda hard. the "breakfast" is just cereal, bad coffee. but, like I said for the price and proximity to the grand canyon it is worth it. and Williams is a very pretty town.

    The location is great for our annual visit to the Polar Express in Williams, AZ. The only real issue we had was the pillows. They were too thick. Could not get comfortable with them. Ok for watching TV but not for sleeping.

    Someone left the heater on high. With the windows open and air conditioning on, it took 3 hours to cool off room and it was 32 degrees outside. Internet connection was poor, we were far from office. Rooms were clean and otherwise comfortable.

But luckily the Rt 66 diner on the other side of the road serves sumptuous breakfast for reasonable price.
