Small rooms with very little room to put clothes away or set anything down. We ended up using the ironing board as a small table just to have a place to set they keys, wallets, etc. Staff was cordial but not friendly.

The room was quite comfortable and big and well maintained. The service was excellent and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was just off of Oxford a main route to much of Sydney's sites and I love to walk and it was easy to get places. There are many good restaurants nearby and two supermarkets. It is just 4 blocks to Hyde Park […] a wonderful park and not far from the Museum of Australia, NSW art Museum and the Domain. If I'm lucky enough to go back to Sydney I'd stay here again. Read more

Reasonable place, but the rooms are pretty small for a family of four. Hated the fact that you have to pay a lot for Internet access and the access was limited to one device at a time. Stayed on the 14th floor hoping it would be quiet. We did not hear our neighbors other than the elevator ding but did hear a fair amount of traffic noise throughout the evening. There was a funky smell to the room that either we got used to or dissipated during our stay. The room furnishings are way past prime - stained upholstered furniture was not […] inviting but the room was clean overall. The elevators are small and I felt claustrophobic when 4 other people were trying to get on with my husband and me. On the positive side, the room was VERY large and the bath products were wonderful (shampoo, conditioner, soap, and shower gel). The shower had great pressure and no issues with hot water. The staff was helpful with directions. The tv was in a weird location but did have good reception. The AC worked nicely. All in all...it was just ok. I would probably recommend that someone spend a few more bucks and stay somewhere a bit nicer and maybe a bit closer to the attractions. Read more

Staff was very friendly. Location was perfect. Minutes walk from everything. Would stay there again. Only concern was the construction happening outside our window that started around 6:30am each morning, but that is hardly the hotels fault.

Evelyn and staff were extremely courteous and helpful with sightseeing expertise and bookings. Was able to extend reservation several times for additional nights. Stored baggage twice for most of day. Pool is quite small and room was noisy at times from hallway, other rooms, and outside. Good location and value, would definitely recommend.

Hotel was in convenient part of city, within walking distance of bus lines monorails and trains. The cleaning staff took excellent care of my room. For the time I was there my room served good purpose. One great feature was the laundry room. Front desk (reception) personnel were cordial to me and addressed my needs.

Very pleased with quality of this hotel, especially for the great price! Off-season but expected to pay more since everything in Sydney is expensive and concerned that it would not be too nice for that price. Stayed here 2 days at the beginning and 2 days at the end of our visit to Australia. Great location as far as being close to sights and lots of restaurants, but right next to some fetish and sex shops so maybe not a great place for kids. The spa tub was ice cold and therefore useless. The shower leaked everywhere at the gap where the door closed. Otherwise I found it to be nice for the price.

The staff were very helpful directing me to the sights and stores that I wanted to go to. They were very friendly. Did not like paying for internet, but I guess that a lot of hotels do the same thing. Had a great time in Sydney and listened to an orchestra in the opera house. I am ready to see more of Australia.

Location is in a very lively area of Sydney, loads of restaurants and shops nearby, but further away from the harbour than we had anticipated, i.e. a good 40-minute walk to Circular Quay. There are bus stops nearby, but we got to know the area a lot more by walking. A little disappointed with the room - hanging space was totally inadequate; the fridge, […] ironing board, safe, kettle and cups were all crammed into the one small cupboard where we were also expected to hang our clothes. The only problem I found with this hotel was the room service very unorganised both times stayed something has been left off the order this stay they brought half then toolkit away and brought it back again and the food was cold could do with a bit of a revamp but quiet comfortable and good location for the price will stay again
