"migraines are free of charge"
when I showed up and straight to the car park I was unable to park my car as the area is so tight I had a family get out and help guide me back and forth just to get out thank god there was no other cars coming I have no idea how we would of got out.Thinking the worst was over we had to book in,which I had already paid in full online.It took 55 minutes to confirm my booking what a joke.Family members were waiting so we could get together and have coffee.I had a lot of other family members staying here as well, so to get to each others rooms was a hassle. Needing to get the cards coded together to get to a different level, needed each other to approve this with all the delays was really making my day trip mentally draining and giving me a migraine.I don't recommend to stay here if you have a car or stay with a group of family.There is no cover over the doona.The sink might look lovely but very impractical

The Front Office Manager is investigating the situation as this certainly isn’t the level of service we strive to provide. Our elevators are locked off for security purposes which I’m sure you can appreciate, so access to additional levels does need to go through the Front Desk and we apologise that this caused you some inconvenience. Our car park can be quite tight for larger cars and we state this in the Terms and Conditions across all online booking agents. We do have alternative options organised with nearby car parks and our Front Desk team are able to assist you with this. Very comfortable bed!!! If you are after good location and comfort this is the palace. Service is slow but friendly. In the mornings give yourself extra time to catch a lift or walk the stairs.....

"Happy Interstate Camper in town for business"

"Ideal place to stay"
Had a great 4 days staying in a king room. The view was great and the friendly relaxed atmosphere of this ideal located hotel makes for a great stay in Sydney. Extra comfy bedding, along with a bathroom with an actual bath, made for great relaxation with a movie on Foxtel afterward on the big screen TV enjoyably viewed from the couch. Eating out was a breeze with heaps of great eateries and bars just round the corner

"Good hotel, good sized room and in a good location"
Hotel was clean and the room a good size with comfy beds, reception on check in was underwhelming, not much interaction. Location was very handy to Central station and easy to find. Only real minus was the hot water tap in the shower didn't work, used the bath instead.

"Great location close to the city and nightlife"
Had a very nice stay. Went to the Italian restaurant underneath (Baccomatto), the food was lovely and great for a special occasion. Hotel room was neat, clean and of a good size with great complimentary toiletries.

"nice room however disappointed"
The hotel its self was clean and comfy. However so disappointed with the food and service in that place was our first time we may stay at the hotel again but certainly wont bother eating there not that we got to eat much as the food was stone cold we waited 25min for coffee and when we complained about the breakfast the manager was going to get it cooked from scratch. 30min later still no food. Left without eating hungry on our way to a conference. So disappointing.

"Nice hotel with great location."
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights on a quick getaway to Sydney. Very comfy room, balcony had a nice view. Hotel was within walking distance of lots of amenities. Staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was convenient. modern and the staff were helpful but our shower hot water kept breaking meaning we had to shower under a tap - this was annoying and happened twice to reduce the enjoyment of our stay.

"Excellent for business or pleasure in the city"
We stayed for business, the room was exceptionally clean, the desk staff were quick and efficient, except when I was asking questions about the area and they they were unhurried and informative. I really appreciated being able to leave our bags at the desk both before and after check in, nothing was too much trouble and the room had everything we wanted. It was quiet and easy to sleep, and yet excellently located with everything we needed or wanted to get to within walking distance.

"Misleading information"
The room was advertised as 30 square meters in size. This was a gross exaggeration. Even if the area of the balcony was included it was not close to 30 sqm. The room was clean and the recent renovations were OK but not to the level of comfort implied by the pictures on their website. Hotel parking was expensive & difficult to use & checkout was slow. The general perception was there was little that would make me return in the future.

"The hotel was the closest to were I need to be."
The couch was uncomfortable, TV very low in lounge area, first thing very morning bottle noise being empty in bins. Had a late night and put on the door please do not disturb sign and around 11am cleaner was trying to get in. Room clean only were it needs to be but all other areas has been touched for ages. Best part was the closest were I had to be and had great hot water for showering day and night for the three days that I was there. I have stayed in much more rated hotels and most time straggled with hot water when showering.

"Easy 15min walk to Pitt Street mall"
We were expecting a queen/king bed or even a double but we didn't expect 2 single beds in our room for a couple and weren't told what room we'd be getting when we purchased the secret room deal but we enjoyed our stay. It was a busy weekend. It was about 10mins walk from Museum Station and about 15mins to Pitt Street Mall. About 2mins up the street is the busy Oxford St.

"Fab hotel close to city"
My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel because we had a wedding to attend to in sydney and we enjoyed every minute of it...The hotel was very clean and the staff were always available to speak too if need be. The only downfall was our bond I was told different stories on when I would receive it...I still don't have it yet...this is the first time I've experienced something like this as normally other hotels I've stayed at we receive the bond at the time of checkout. ..apart from that we loved it...I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Convienient to the SGC where we watched the World Cup Cricket couldn't book into 2pm just got off a 14 day cruise. Staff very friendly and helpful offered us showers and stored our luggage.But room faced street very noisy couldn't use balcony as too noisy had windows opened but had to close them as there was an argument happening in the street. The bathroom bin wasn't emptied still had rubbish in it when we arrived.But overall good location for sporting or music events

"Gay time in Sydney"
The location was great with lots of cool places to eat and bars, quite a gay area so very gay friendly. We had a suite which was on the whole good quality although the step between bathroom and bedroom was not clearly marked so a few stubbed toes, otherwise all ok. Reception staff were very helpful.

Reception staff was rude. Not helpful disorganised.. Had paid through expedia or would have made a refund and nor stayed for all 3 nights.

"Another Bad Customer Service Experience"
My wife and I booked for two nights at the Cambridge Hotel one of the nights was paid for by my wife's employer and one night paid for by us personally. When checking out after the first night we advised the staff member that we were booked in for another night and would it be possible to stay in the same room the staff member told us that No this was not possible. And that our luggage would be moved to another room before check in of our 2nd night. We were given the Room No. 302 for our 2nd night which was organised by a Duty Manager. When I went back to check in after 2pm the Duty Manager was not in shift and we were given room. 709, I said to the staff member at Reception that we told in the morning by a Duty Manager we would be in room 302 he said and these were his words well your not it is 709. I said will our luggage be in that room he said should be if not just ring and we will try and find it. I think some of the staff members at this Hotel could learn that they work in the Hospitality industry and as such there role is all about Customer Service a industry I have been in all my Career.

"The location is not in CBD."
We were allocated a small room with three single beds and one drawn out bed for the booking we had made for four adults. When we complained we were informed that Expedia did not specify the type of room. After staying in such condition for four nights they changed the room for the remaining two nights. This was not a nice experience.

"Decent, comfortable place"
Overall, nice stay. Facilities are in good condition and the location is excellent. The only thing I would say about this hotel is that their check in/check out policies are a little unusual and customers should be informed on the website as it may influence bookings. Check in is at 2:00PM and check out is at 10:30AM. Checkout can be extended to 11:00AM for no charge, to 12:00PM for A$20 and an additional A$20 for each hour until 2.

"Decent Hotel"
Staff were very helpful and friendly. They were happy to store my luggage for the remainder of the day (until my shuttle bus arrived), after i had checked out. This was really helpful!

"Nice hotel room, close to the city."
The rooms are nice, the elevators take a while to get you from a to b. This hotel has the worst underground parking, if you're lucky enough to manuver your way around good luck trying to find a park, it also costs around $28 on top of your room fee.

All was generally good. Good location for us. Parking an extra cost..this was not provided on website as a cost. Credit card use to pay on leaving additional charge. Also not advised on website. Not good.
