THE FIRST ROOM WE WERE GIVEN THE WIFI DID NOT WORK THERE HAD TO MOVE TO ANOTHER ROOM. THE ROOM WE HAD HAD BROKEN LIGHT FIXTURES, DIRTY TRASH CANS, MOLDY SHOWER CURTAIN, WINDOW CURTAINS THAT DID NOT WORK ETC ETC ETC.....WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN

There were 5 of us girls doing the girls weekend thing. If all you need is a place to crash and hold your things while you are out and about doing tours and seeing the sights? Then this hotel would be just fine. Its clean and located close to all the shops. If you are going to be spending alot of time in your room or want alot of comfort/amenities? […] then you might want to choose somewhere else. No working fridge, but you can rent one from the office. We were able to get 2 rooms right next to each other so that was nice. The staff is very friendly! We were able to look past all the bad things and laugh about them as an "adventure". (The cop dropping off a drunk to sleep it off, the blood on the pavement from a teen party gone wrong, the recliners outside like anyone would really sit in them? eww, and the fun loving good ol boys having a party under us the first 2 nights, they were very polite!) enjoy!! The hotel was in a good neighborhood and close (three blocks) to the down town area. It is an old hotel and needs a lot of work but this hotel was in our price range as we were on a budget and didn't want to pay a lot for just sleeping. It had a microwave and small fridge and the bed was comfortable. The owners were very friendly and gracious and helpful […] in suggesting places to go. The motel was not clean. The vanity was dirty, the bed had spots on the dirty comforter. The coffee was not stocked in the room - only decaf. The towels were dingy. The tv remote needed new batteries. Overall it seemed run down. I had remembered this motel in the past as being very well kept and clean. Not anymore.

Very inflexible motel. We had a reservation here for Saturday night. Friday evening about 90 minutes after starting our vacation drive our family van broke down (thank goodness for AAA). Anyway, we called to get Saturday night cancelled because we had no idea how/if we were going to get to KY, and they said no because had to cancel Friday before 3. […] Well we also had reservation for 2 rooms at a Hilton brand hotel in St. Louis for the same night we broke down. We called them at 8:30pm (their policy is cancel by 7pm) and they said we're very sorry to hear about your car trouble hope everyone is ok and by the way told hotels.com to go ahead and process the refund. Anyway we got towed back to KC at midnight Friday night and didn't get out of town again until 4pm on Saturday. We arrived at this motel at 2am, there were people partying in the parking lot, we had a hard time getting the night cleft to rise and check us in, the room was hot (after a 100 degree day), There were only 2 towels for a family of 4 in a two queen room. The shower curtain had mold on it and there were drops of dried blood on the floor next to the toilet. Read more

The hotel was ok. The room was a non-smoking room but still smelled like smoke. The ice machine didn't even work. We came in late and the lady who checked us in was anything but upbeat. It wasn't terrible for the entire 5 hours we were there.
