Best Western Plus French Quarter Landmark Hotel - New Orleans

Had a great time, everyone at the hotel was really nice. Breakfast was really convienant. Would suggest to anyone.

I found the hotel room quite nice. The staff was very helpful in mapping out our route to different destinations. Right across the street was the Louis Armstrong Park which was an added feature. We were six blocks from Bourbon Street which was away from the noise and the crowds. I would recommend this hotel!

We spent one night at hotel on our way to a family vacation in Alabama. Hotel room is snug but still very comfotable. Room was clean and well maintained. I found this hotel to be perfect for us it was close to the things we wanted to see and far enough that we didn't have to put up with the noise, the continental breakfast was excellent and a big plus, the room was comfortable and clean, parking was a little tight but other than that I give it an A+ I would definitely stay again

For the price it was definitely worth the stay. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was a little cozy and beds were small but that was the only downside. The hotel was as expected (clean), and breakfast was fine. The waffles have a fleur-de-lis. The parking costs $20/day plus tax, but that is fairly decent for being on the upper edge of the French Quarter.

Very filthy, my white socks turned black when walking inside my room. In two consecutive days my room wasn't made, regardless that I left early for business purposes. Rooms were small but clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom in our room (two double beds) had shower only and was small as well. However, if you don't plan to spend much time in the room, the size is perfectly acceptable for two people. The breakfast was excellent, a cut above the usual complimentary breakfast - fresh-scramble eggs, sausage or bacon, […] fresh baked waffles, cereal, bagels, fruit, yogurt, fruit juice and excellent coffee. The dining area overlooks the courtyard and pool and is very roomy. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant - certainly not always the case in New Orleans. The location was an easy walk to the heart of the French Quarter and the river but was far enough away from the action to be nice and quiet. Louis Armstrong Park is just across Rampart Street and is beautiful. We were in New Orleans for a show at Mahalia Jackson Theater and were able to just walk across the park to the theater (less than 5 minutes) and avoid the traffic and parking hassle. I would certainly stay again ESPECIALLY if I were going to the theater. Read more

Convenient to the french quarter was able to walk to Jackson Sq and local attractions, restaurants, etc. Hot breakfast served daily. Nice courtyard. Only complaint had to pay for parking at $22.00 a day.

Dirty room. A hair clip, straw sleeve, and a pair of children's socks were just under the bed. Water for the shower does not adjust correctly and the hot water is scalding.

very nice room, at very reasonable price. 3 blocks from Broubon street, across from louis armstrong park. the breakfast had a large variety, with cold and hot foods. walked surrounding area at night, and did not feel unsafe, though would have to say would not walk it alone.

This hotel is located in the French Quarter. It is within walking distance of all the French Quarter attractions! The streetcars are easily accessible as well. Free Wifi and Continental breakfast are a huge plus for those who are traveling on a tight budget. Scenes for the HBO show "Treme" were being filmed less than a block from the Hotel.
