I was back in town to visit with friends for one night, and this was a great place for that. We were only in the room for as long as we were sleeping and taking showers, so the simple set-up was all we needed. I probably should have picked somewhere closer to downtown, but this hotel has close access to the freeway and mall (but not right on it), and […] a bed that was much more comfortable than I expected. The front desk attendant was very personable and offered the free wi-fi right away, and even printed off some papers we needed for the next day. It still amazes me that budget hotels like this will do that stuff for free while Hilton still charges a ridiculous amount. Will most likely stay here again the next time I'm in Bellingham. This is the only motel that has asked to charge me to send a fax. Phone plans of today have unlimited domestic calling. There's no reason to charge customers for faxing documents. Other discount motels allow faxing for free as a service to their customers.

We went to Washington on a business trip. The staff was very helpful as we needed to fax documents. receive emails, and communicate across the boarder. They helped us to get the best internet connections and helped us to complete our business in a timely manner. They also directed us to local attractions making our stay enjoyable as well.

I've been coming up to Bellingham very often and stayed previously in near by hotels on the Guide Meridian. Due to a full house, I couldn't stay at the usual hotel I stayed and had to stay at the Rodeway. I'm actually glad I did! I paid much less for what was essentially almost identical quality of rooms and all this time I could have saved so much […] money! Also, the staff there told me that the rooms were newly renovated and the beds were exchanged out, so if anyone is looking for a reasonably priced hotel room in Bellingham, Rodweay would be a smart choice. What a disaster. I think some of the rooms were rented out by the hour...it wasn't a good crowd of folks staying here. I am an avid Golf player who enjoy traveling. My recent travels pointed me towards the Pacific Northwest where my friend had recommended me previously for its beautiful scenic golf ranges. Good stay at a reasonable price. It's just 5 minute walking distance from Bellisfair mall and 5 minutes drive from downtown and the waterfront. Could not have asked for a better location. It was pretty much what you'd expect for a 2-star hotel. Except for the significant tobacco odor in a non-smoking room and the incredibly uncomfortable bed (i.e. plywood with worlds cheapest matress on top).

We were surprised when I saw the 2 star rating. The hotel and room were immaculant. Never heard any noise at all during the night. The lobby was clean and towels and bedding smelled clean. We will stay again. The continental breakfast was orderly and very nice also.

Stayed at the Rodeway for 3 nights during my daughter's wedding and I had a couple more friends staying here with me. We were all satisfied and enjoyed our time here.
