My wife and I spent three night here while we visited relatives in Portland. It was only a 20 minute drive to the heart of Portland. The amount we saved over staying at a motel in the heart of downtown was well worth the drive time. The surrounding neighborhood was a series of strip malls but we felt save and secure. The staff was pleasant. The continental […] breakfast was a bit meager but satisfied us. It was very quiet. The room was small but since all we needed the room for was to sleep it was more than adequate. Would definitely stay again. Excellent value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room was very dirty"
I arrived late at night to check in and I wasn't asked to provide identification to verify who I was, which I thought was odd. When I got to my room I saw the carpets were stained, there was a grimy handprint on the wall and it looked like the bedding was not changed. When I pulled the sheets back there was hair and it looked like someone had just slept […] there. There was a stain on the bathroom wall which appeared to be nicotine and the room was non-smoking. I know the rate is cheap and only needed to stay for one night. However, a cheap rate doesn't mean someone should have to put up with filth. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect For A Traveller Who Is Not A Snob"
I recently stayed at the Clackamas Days Inn while transferring to a new Government job. Thanks to the shutdown, my stay was extended another week. My room was not very large, but was comfortable, clean and just right for Poppa Bear. Maid service was excellent, the staff is very attentive to supplying you with extra towels, soap, etc...and super friendly, […] as well. The front desk staff were great, helping me out constantly with my little requests (parking, early check-in). The area is central to going anywhere interesting in 20 minutes, or less. A MAX rapid- transit light rail train station is less than a 5 minute walk away and it goes anywhere you need to be ! Only 40 minutes to Mount Hood and ski areas. Good restaurant choices nearby, Noodles and Company 1/2 mile away at the Clackamas Town Center Mall is a delicious bargain and a nice pub, McMenamins, is about 160 feet away ! If you are not picky like most of the other people who left reviews, this hotel is just right. It was much better than any Motell I have ever stayed in. Yeah, the free breakfast is nothing to write home about ( the waffles kick a%% though !), get there before 800am and you'll find something to fuel your day. In conclusion, budget hotel, comfortable, safe, price- friendly, great staff and situated just right geographically. Thanks DI, Clackamas ! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
will not stay here again. 1st room...bare light bulb above beds, the tv didnt work carpet soiled badly. move to another room. upon arriving in this room there was discarded soap wrapper in toilet. pencil cap on floor, evidently not vacuumed. hole in drapes. even in the halls there were discarded small particles.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Potential but some disappointments"
Overall, the rooms are clean and comfortable. As a side sleeper, I am always pleased when I can wake up without my back aching. However, I am disappointed that the staff would check me into a room that by their own words was "taken out of service." The first night of my stay, I was assigned a room where the bathtub was not draining. When I pointed this […] out the second day, I was informed that they needed to move me to another room because that room (#205) had been "out of service" and I shouldn't have been put in that room in the first place. Anyway, while the beds are comfortable and the rooms adequate, I am disappointed that the staff was that careless in assigning rooms. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Would warn friends to NOT stay there"
Staff was pleasant. When in room, looked for light. Light did not work. Found light beside bed, turned it on. Had surgery next day, so my husband was going to set alarm and use wake up call to cover us. There was no alarm clock in room. Called front desk and they brought up an alarm clock and two pillows which we had asked for. My husband reached up […] to turn on floor lamp the entire socket with bulb in it came off in his hand. He then looked down and there was NO wiring at all in the lamp. As room was so small and dark, I put lamp, socket and bulb outside room door. It was removed soon thereafter. Alarm did work, thank goodness as wake up call never came through. It was a surgery that I could not have missed. As I was dressing, on the floor between the bed and the end table was a stamp size plastic zip lock bag, cut open with a white powder film left on it. I immediately put on shoes. "Good overnight stay"
My son and I stayed for one night, before heading to Eugene for football game. Staff was friendly, room was comfortable, and the price was great. "Don't stay here"
We booked our stay on hotels.com. When we arrived we were told that because we booked with hotels.com then we would be required to provide a credit card so that they could pre-authorize the card for $35 for incidentals and any damages we might cause. We were informed that the pre-authorization would be removed when we checked out. Here we are several […] days later and the card is still in limbo with the $35 still dinged. We arrived in our room and EVERYTHING in the room was damaged or broken. Putty was the only thing holding the bathroom counters and shower surround together. Everything was chipped, old, worn through.TV was blurry and old. WiFi didn't work at all. When I called the front desk about the wifi I was informed that it hadn't been working for a while, although upon checking the hotel computer in the lobby was working fine. The room was dirty, towels were paper thin, room was extremely small. Worst hotel stay ever! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I moved to Portland in a job transfer. the hotel is located near all the major highways and thourowfairs so it is easy to get arround. After work the pool was clean and warm. "A Great Stay!"
The front desk clerks were polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the ground floor near the front desk and there wasn't any noise all night long. "not for germophobes"
It was decent and was cheap enough that we could spend money on nicer restaurants, so it worked for us. The carpets were horribly stained and the shower surround had a lot of creepy crevices, but the sheets and towels were very clean. Okay the towels smelled so strongly of bleach I kinda worried they'd change my hair color. But my hair was fine, and […] so was the room. The people at the desk were friendly. The free breakfast was a sugary refined carb mess, (if you like waffles and/or cake- I mean muffins, you're in luck), but that's the same in most budget friendly hotels. Take some of the money you saved, and get breakfast elsewhere. I said I wouldn't recommend it, and I wouldn't at least not without explaining the problems. Like I said in the title- this is NOT the right spot for germophobes. I'm a big believer in the benefits of working out your immune system, but the tub/shower and carpets creeped me out a bit. "Good for the price, decent accommodations."
Hotel has interior corridors, in-room refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. TV is old school CRT with cable - some channels had a little static. "Enjoyed our stay in Portland"
The area around the Days Inn was terrific! Close to the freeway and access to Portland & the 5 Freeway. We loved the convenience of the Clackamas Town Center with multiple restaurants, stores and a easy walk to get there. The hotel was at capacity but it was quiet in the evening and everyday the breakfast was ready to go at 6:00am including plenty of […] coffee! The rooms were clean but dated, although the price was right. The only problem we had was with the internet that wasn't strong in the room. We enjoyed the location and the staff was really nice & friendly. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Apart from a location that's convenient to Kaiser Sunnyside hospital and Clackamas Community College, this place doesn't have much else going for it. The prices are okay, the rooms are small, outdated and crowded, and the amenities are sparse. If you need a cheap place to stay when you have a relative in the hospital and the Motel 6 nearby is booked, […] the Days Inn will suffice. It's not awful, but it's nothing to write home about either. An added note: if you need a wake up call, double and triple check that it gets in the system properly. I heard one guest complain that he didn't get his, and mine, which I requested for 5:30 am came at 5:03 am. Small distinction but I really could have used that extra 27 minutes of sleep. "Just not good."
The place is completely outdated. There's literally internet cables and routers run along the ceilings of the hallways of this place. There aren't nearly enough outlets in a room when you have 3-4 people staying in it who all need to charge their phones overnight. The bathroom had tiny bits of mildew in cracks here and there. And even though we had […] registered that there were 3 of us staying in the room, housekeeping would RARELY leave us more than 2 towels. Terrible, tiny, paper-thin towels. Sometimes only 1 hand towel. Staying there for 10 days got tedious. The landscaping outside is sort of a joke--there's plants in disposable pots sitting in beds of dirt. And the door to the parking lot from our hallway was broken for about 4 days. The icing on the cake was one day when we came back in from an outing and came to find OUR DOOR WAS LEFT OPEN by housekeeping. We'd noticed that housekeeping liked to leave our window open (we had no screen, either) for a few days before this, but this time was unacceptable. The door wasn't pulled shut-anyone could have just walked in and taken anything they wanted. AND the window was left open. I complained to the front desk, and heard from the manager quickly. He seemed concerned, but made no effort to make us feel much better as customers besides saying he was sorry and that he'd have a chat with housekeeping. Needless to say, we definitely won't be back. Hotel was reasonably priced but the room with one queen was very small. The "free" breakfast was skimpy. If you want oatmeal request it as they keep it stashed away in a back room. The front desk manager was helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Other than being close to freeway and easy to find, this place is not clean. There was mold in the shower and it was not cleaned well. The room is very cluttered and there is little moving space. "Nice staff but poor facility"
Location was not what was indicated on Expedia in relation to Reed College. It was twice the distance away. The room is old and outdated. Not dirty, just "tired". There were people in the parking lot that didn't seem to be hotel customers. There was a police incident one day we were there (stayed two nights). There was a canine unit on site and the […] officer was questioning the staff at the front desk making sure nobody would have access to the room involved and established that it was paid for in advance. This probably should have been done when other customers were not present. If we hadn't paid in advance, we would have moved hotels. The location IS located near the freeway so you can get around. Had an issue with the laundry...other people will take you laundry out if you are not right there watching. I timed the first load I did and I was only about 1-2 minutes after the load had finished to find a gentleman handling my clothing. (not happy with anyone touching my belongings). "Really nice place to stay"
Everything was excellent - pool nice and clean - breakfast really nice - front desk helpful and efficient .... the hotel is about 15 miles from the airport and their transfer requires a reservation so be sure you plan for the correct time. "What a dump!"
This place needs to be blown apart and completely redone. At first check in we were put in a single queen bed room (which is what we booked through hotels.com). I'm 6'4" tall and I could lay in bed and turn the tv on and off with my toes. We also asked to be put in a quiet area as a school basketball team was checking in at the same time. The lady at […] the front desk put us directly across from the elevator, on the first floor. Probably the loudest room in the place. So with those two problems already causing a headache, we asked to be moved. They offered to move us to a king bed room for an additional charge. We took the opportunity to move, even though I feel they should have done it as a courtesy. The next room was disgusting! There was hair all over the place... in the bathroom on the floor and both towels and on the bed comforter. We quickly threw the comforter off the bed and found even more hair out of the sheets, which smelled terribly of bad detergent mixed with a heavy amount of bleach. Needless to say, we ended our stay here after the first night. I would suggest never to stay at this Days Inn!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Probably not again"
This was an inexpensive motel. The rooms were clean, yet very outdated. If you have items that need to be charged, there are very few outlets for that purpose, and difficult to get to. The beds are very hard. We asked for an extra chair for our room that was never provided, and also asked for an extra pillow which we had to finally get ourselves. I'm […] very thankful that I took my own inflatable bed. Rooms are fairly small and hard to get around in. This motel desperately needs an upgrade. It is not the easiest motel to get to.
