There was a fight among staff when we got there, and we had to wait to check in. Once in room there was hair and cigarette burns on the comforter, patched holes and stains on the wall, and toliet tissue dispenser was broken. We checked out and went to a different hotel!

it was a very old hotel. the outside step area was gross with garbage and bird droppings on the handrails in which I must use since i have Palsy in my legs. It was fine...my daughters stayed at this hotel because Grandma was visiting and they wanted to let Grandma use one of their beds, but didn't want to sleep on the sofas for three nights. So I booked them a room close to home, and the room was freeway close, clean and safe...although bordering on a rough part of town.

Very disappointed. The hotel was unbelievably loud all night long between people coming and going and dogs barking all night (tied to a trailer outside in the parking lot). THERE IS NO BAR OR RESTARANT AT THE HOTEL. THE FREE BREAKFAST WAS THE SAME THING EVERY DAY...WAFFLES AND MUFFINS AND SOUR ORANGE JUICE. I am very dissatisfied with this motel. We had to change rooms. We were directed to 2 different "non-smoking" rooms that had clearly been used as smoking rooms. The first night our room was not cleaned. We were told "sorry". The hair dryer did not work. We were not given wash clothes for 4/5 days and told "we ran out." Motel was under renovation and I was given a room connected to one that was being renovated. Lots of noise, terrible pillows, and a rough part of town. Broken bottles and lots of other sharp objects in the parking lot and surrounding grass. Cheap rates but this is one case where you get what you pay for.

CONSIDERING IT WAS THE WEEK OF THE COLORADO SPRINGS FIRES, THE STAFF DID A GREAT JOB OF GETTING PEOPLE PLACES TO STAY. THE MOTEL APPEARS OLD AND IN NEED OR RENOVATIONS, I.E. NEW CARPETS AND MATTRESSES. I WAS GRATEFUL TO HAVE A MOTEL ROOM THOUGH.

ill never stay there again, we wnt to see two soldiers off to afghanistan. it was terrible, ive never left a bad review but i never had a reason to either. my two boys know they left their sunglasses their but are unable to get them back. they were ESS military grade sunglasses, the people were nice, very nice but hotel was dreadful.

I have stayed here before a few months ago. While it is cheap, the quality of the hotel has gone down hill drastically in just a few months. The rooms were dirty, there was fecal matter on the wall and the toilet/bathtub did not work properly. Would not recommend this place even for the price.

I was literally afraid to sleep at this hotel. The door did not latch properly; a stiff breeze could open it. Had to prop a chair against the door so it wouldn't blow open. The carpet was old and frayed, the bed was incredibly old, and the sheets smelled like they hadn't been washed in months. The weird thing is, the bathroom was really nice. The hotel was very easy to find and was close to all the conviences you need, like eating and fueling. The front desk clerk was helpful and polite. The only complaint was he toilet ran all the time if you didn't jiggle the handle.

This hotel was undergoing major renovation and should not have been caring for guests;the indoor pool area was in a very bad location and All the doors had padlocks on them eventhough we had a key it would have been nice if we didnt have to walk though all the hallways and throught the lobby and then outside to our room soaking wet. This place should not even have a rating! It was dirty on the outside, cigarette butts all over the place including the 2nd floor, parking lot had garbage as well and empty bottles outside rooms with cigarette butts in them that was there the whole weekend we were there. I was not impressed. Yes it was a last minute hotel option; but it smelled, the door looked like it had been kicked in. I did not leave my things in the room while I was out. The bathroom was very durty. My continental breakfast was a muffin. I paid good money to stay in a chincy room. Glad that was not all of my vacation.

I usually laugh at all the people that complain about hotels when they paid so little to stay there. So I wasn't expecting much when I got such a great price on this room. I checked in, hopped in the pool, went to dinner, and when I got back I decided that the door not setting properly in the door frame made me too nervous and went down to ask for a […] change. First she said there weren't any, then said she couldn't. I told her that if someone breaks in and anyone gets hurt it would come back to the front desk and the she changed rooms. But not without telling me I can't change rooms every couple hours. She said it very rudely and was rude when I asked about their broken ice machine that the ice was frozen into one giant cube. Service was bad and rooms were badly needing a bit of updating. I got what I payed for and wish I would have spent more else where. Do not go to this hotel. Still to this day waiting for the manager to call me as is expedia. First room had mold in shower, no hot water and a drain that did not work. Overall the room was at best dirty. Was moved to another room that had been remodeled. Front desk personel hung the phone up on expedia also. Noticed that the rating has fallen since I was there and hope it will go down more to save other people from having to deal with these people. It was susposed to be a 2.5 so didn't expect much, but failed at the simplest things. Think the high ratings that they have must be from employees or owners trying to make the rating go up since there is no chance a normal person will give them a good rating. Plan on going to Colorado Springs again, but will never use this motel again. Had an Expedia employee recommend this motel. Will read the reviews next time before accepting the recommendations.
