We had a great stay! The hotel was great, in a location that's a bit tucked away, but very close to lots of sights/resources. It was also nice that we got a complimentary upgrade to a king-size bed, corner-room suite.

We had a wonderful time. Comfort Inn was our "Way Station" for 18th birthday party activities. The fitness center is perfect and the staff was the best! The hotel is old, but extremely clean and comfortable.

hotel was conveniently located to the conference hotel I had to go to. Rate included free breakfast with eggs, waffles etc, and had free internet. The room did not have a fridge/ or minifridge in the room.

I had a kind corner room. It was nice, the bathroom was nice however, you can hear your neighbor using their facilities, talking on the phone, playing music, etc. I had to call the front desk to have the room next to me turn their music down so I could go to sleep. I was very disappointed considering it was such a nice room. The price was half of The […] Brown Palace which was connected on the second floor for the conference I was attending which is why I decided to book this hotel. Upon arrival, which was late into the evening, we went to our room and found that the TV reported no signal. We called down to the desk, and they sent an engineer to our room within 10 minutes who fixed the problem immediately.

The rooms are quite small, but the complimentary breakfast, exercise facility and proximity to 16th Mall more than made up for the close quarters for two people. The staff were very nice and it's a nice looking hotel on the inside. Outdoor parking less than a block away is available for far less than the hotel charges.

We liked our stay. The only part we did not like was when we read the description of the parking we thought we could park ourselves. We ended up with parking for a fee of $29 a night and no choice. It made the price of the room higher than other rooms in the downtown area. We would have chosen another hotel instead.

This place is a good deal considering the location. It is close to the 16th St shopping and dining area, so that is a big plus. The hotel wi-fi was no good and the beds weren't great but room was in good condition. Staff was very courteous, so I was happy with the service.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Nice location and convenient to downtown. Older rooms but overall well maintained. I have two complaints. The first is that while the wi-fi was free, it was terribly slow. The second is that the bed was not very comfortable. The mattress seemed old and I woke each morning with an achey back.

This hotel did such a great job from start to finish. When I checked in they informed me that they had upgraded me to a suite. It was a nice touch and very much appreciated. Very close to 16th Street Mall which is where my business event was located. Cab stand located directly across the street which made it even more convenient. I would recommend!

I've stayed here in the past & I can say it has greatly improved! We were upgraded to a two room suite, was very nice. Could use some new carpets though. It was in great location, we walked everywhere. There's a couple close parking lots I suggest to use since valet parking is $29.

Don't confuse this hotel as budget rate. It is connected to the Brown Palace Hotel, and it is super well located; advantageous. There is a taxi stand literally across the street at Brown Palace; it's on 17th, 1 block off the mall line; and Steuben's and other great Denver restaurants/bars are a slow 10 min. walk just east of this place. Booked into a room that had no towels and one thing in the shower - what looked like a used container of shower gel. Weird debris in the shower, but nothing else really amiss, so we mentioned it to the front desk as we headed out for the night. Upon our return 8 hours later, we find that nothing had been done to remedy our requests - mentioned it again, […] in front of three hotel employees. We were assured it would be taken care of immediately, so we left for another 10-15 minutes...still nothing by the time we'd gotten back. Just after getting into bed, we hear a knock from one of the employees who brought what the room was missing. I was very disappointed that it took two requests, hours apart, to finally get some results, especially for the rate we'd paid. I'm also not sure if it's just the style of how the beds are made there, but our bed was not made with the proper "form-fitting" bottom sheet - instead, it was another flat sheet that was haphazardly tucked in and slipped off as soon as we got into bed. I don't know if there was just confusion or a lack of staff, but I was very disappointed in the quality of the room and the (seemingly) uninterested reaction of the hotel staff when we brought the issues to attention. We have stayed at this hotel in the past, but this trip has certainly made us consider somewhere else on our next trip to downtown Denver. Read more

There is a free shuttle from the Amtrak station to the hotel, but it's not advertized, so I walked. Food was okay - yogurt, scrambled eggs, oranges and apples. Lots of white bread. The receptionists were very nice.

Without going into details as to why, my husband and I have stayed at this hotel during the New Year holidays. It is always great and so we return year after year. I checked in around noon and was told our room wasn't ready, but was offered another room. I agreed. Again, the staff, food, location, overall hotel condition was great. The room that we […] had, however, was not like any we had stayed in before.......it was smaller and just had a lot of eccentricities, such as the temperature of the water in the shower fluctuating wildly every 8 seconds (yes, I timed it), the door not opening until after several tries, the room never getting really warm even though the thermostat was set at 80 (the highest it would go). All very minor annoyances, but it just wasn't up to the level our previous visits have been. Add to that the New Year's revelers next door (not hotel's fault) and the bitter cold this year (also not hotel's fault) and it wasn't the stay we had hoped........... but overall not bad and we will certainly return next year and I will be more watchful as to what room we get.
