"Great city downtown hotel - walking distance"
Hotel was easy to find, parking was $30 extra per day and that was a surprise. Staff good, room comfort was great, breakfast was boring and the same every morning - that would be the only complaint. Hotel was convenient to downtown could walk everywhere - would certainly stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Amazing location and very affordable! Your blocks away from 16th street mall which is a row of great restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and comfortable and the room service was delicious-free breakfast in the morning is a big plus and the staff was very friendly!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great downtown Denver location"
We stayed at Comfort Inn 3 nights & were very pleased. We arrived in the evening & were told that the queen bed room we had reserved wasn't available. After checking with her manager, the front desk clerk upgraded us to a king suite on an upper floor at no additional charge. We had a lovely view of the foothills & the 2-room suite was a great bonus. […] The bed was firm but comfortable & there were large flat-screen tvs in both the bedroom & living room. The bathroom space was tight & there was very little counter space. There was no bathtub, but the shower was large. No issues with cleanliness. The included breakfast was fine and there were plenty of choices from eggs, waffles and sausage to cereal, fruit and Danish. We enjoyed being only a block from the 16th St. Mall--plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay here again when we go to Denver to visit our son. "Denver Comfort Inn Downtown"
My stay at the Comfort Inn Downtown Denver was mostly good. However, I reported to the front desk that the shower drain was clogged, but even though I was there for three nights, they did not clear the drain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Comfot Inn Rooms."
Newly remodeled rooms look luxurious, and tastefully well done. Bathrooms are a bit small but newly remodeled and feel modern. I would not stay any where else, but the Comfort Inn while in Denver. Public transportation outside the door that takes you any where in town. Oh great free continental breakfast and warm cookies at the front desk make you feel […] very welcomed. "Rooms Small but Nice"
The location was great. The rooms were very small and had no refrigerator but were very clean and had been updated. Fitness Room was exceptionally well equipped. We didn't spend much time in the room anyway - enjoyed the History Museum this time, as well as the nearby stores. Rode the shuttle to Larimer Street to eat and shop as well. "Overnight stay before leaving Colorado"
Was upgraded to a very nice suite after arriving late from a long day of skiing which was very much appreciated. Lovely room which we didn't get to enjoy for long enough as we were leaving by 5 am :(. Very comfortable bed! The nicest Comfort Inn we have stayed in. I would definitely recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great hotel"
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There was only one thing that put me off. The toilet in my room was positioned such that you either had to sit on it backwards impossible while wearing pants) or you had to deal with minimal shoulder room at one side due to the sink/countertop and awkward side bends to reach the roll of toilet paper. Other than that, […] I had no issues. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Did not think this hotel was going to be this nice it was a good getaway the front desk staff was great and the flower shop just amazing I took the flowers home and they are still alive it was an amazing stay I will be back soonGenuine Expedia guest review
Although the hotel halls are "out-dated" the rooms are very nice and cozy. The bathrooms have been updated as well. We stayed in a Corner King on the 21st floor and it had great views of the city. Parking a bit expensive, there are some lots across the street that offers MUCH cheaper overnight parking so we opted for that lot after the first night of […] paying for valet. The staff was very friendly and remembered our names the two days we stayed (very impressive). We didn't have the breakfast, but it smelled wonderful. Overall, a great deal for a great location and super friendly staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't expect business class comfort and convenienc"
The hotel itself is nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If I could rate this 2.5, I would do so. My room was nice, fairly recently remodeled. It was smallish. Despite the large number of electrical outlets, only a few worked. One of the LED lights above one of the beds would not turn off. There was barely enough space to use the ironing board. […] There was no place in house to purchase sundries like bottled water, or the little things that most hotels typically stock for sale. I was directed to the soda machine on my floor to purchase bottled water, and the machine took my money. If have a fitness lifestyle, you'll laugh at the fitness facilities. It'll get the job done, but you'll enjoy your workout a LOT more if you go to one of the local gym and pay the daily fee. If asked if I'd stay here again; my answer would be if I had to. It is conveniently located. But as someone who has to endure corporate travel, a place with just a few more amenities makes work travel a lot less stressful. Just a little more work to add just a few more amenities, and this could be a good place to stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, close to everything."
Very pleased. I would stay here again. It was very clean, comfortable. Free hot breakfast every morning. Free wi-fi and business center. Staff was very pleasant. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good location, decent rooms. Breakfast was ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay could have been a little better if we could have had a HOTshower or bath. We were in town for our Grandsons wedding. There was a problem in finding ice and cold beverages. In the main lobby there was no ice machine or beverage ,etc. We explained to the person at the desk, but she didn't act to "concerned." We have stayed at many comfort inns […] but never have had this problem .I thought at least they could have made some kind of adjustment. we are planning a vacation to Arizona this spring and would appreciate a free night at any Comfort Inn. "Hotel downtown Denver"
We had a good experience at Comfort Inn Downtown. The staff was extremely accommodating and made some delicious dinner recommendations. Breakfast was pretty yummy! The location is EXCELLENT! We went in the dead of winter (-2 - 16 degrees F while there), and it was only one block away from plenty of restaurants, bars, and a FREE bus to take you all the […] way down 16th street. This was the highlight. The hotel was a bit noisy, not sure if there was construction or not. Parking is also $30/ day, which was a bummer. But, for how cold it was, it was nice to be able to valet. Would definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"No sleep for our stay"
The first night we stayed there, we were placed on the 12th floor which was supposedely a no smoking floor. When we exited the elevator, the floor reaked of smoke. We were placed in a room that was in the corner of the building near an encap of 2 additional room doors next to each other. Starting at 7PM through 4AM the occupants of the both rooms were […] going back and forth and letting the doors slam shut. The 2 rooms were obviously booked together. We had to call the front desk 3 times but it never stopped. The next morning we were forced to move to another floor and room. Very inconvienent and after a 6 hour drive into Denver I was to say the least, put out that I got no sleep. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Needs some TLC"
This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Denver, and you pay a premium for the convenience. Parking is $32 a day, so calculate that into your budget when booking. My room was extremely "quaint". The television had ten (10) working channels out of 40, mostly local affiliates, and was stuck on a side wall where it was extremely difficult to view […] from the bed. The bathroom was so small you had to get in the shower to turn it on and hope you didn't get blasted with cold water while you adjusted the water temp. The overall decor is outdated with late 70's furniture. The breakfast, which is free, was noting to write home about; powdered eggs, sausage links, and steamed hash browns. Not much there for variety! If you can stay somewhere else and drive a few minutes, you would be better off. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
When I checked in I requested hours exercise room available, to which I was told 24 hrs., but nothing about security is required to open after 10 pm; the following morning at 4:30 am I couldn't enter; when inquired at front desk they called security but never showed after 15 min, which was too late by then. I attempted to abide by the requests for reusing […] towels but each day towels were replaced even though I hung them up. I opened the only tea bag plus a coffee to make and packet for creamer, etc.; tea bag and coffee were not replaced, nor packet cleaned up for 2 days during my stay in spite of me leaving a note requesting such. I replaced items after I went to the front desk. Water glass from in room service left for 2 days. These are just illustrating those who service rooms aren't attentive. "Just a night out in Downtown"
We just stayed a night downtown after attending an event near the Brown Palace. The room was really small but it was fine for us for one night. The TV was not angled towards the bed which was a little bummer because we like to watch tv when we stay at hotels. The hotel bed was comfy and the hotel staff was friendly. "Great deal, great location."
My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Inn for five nights in January and had a great experience. The rooms were comfortable, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was good. The location was perfect- you are a short walk/free mall shuttle ride away from almost everything in the downtown area. My only two complaints […] would be that it was incredibly dry in our room which caused some sleeping issues for me, and that it appeared that our maid didn't actually clean our room, just made the beds and changed the towels. But overall, great hotel for the price. I would definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel stay with problems."
The elevators in the hotel when out of service at about 2PM in the afternoon, and the staff at the front desk did not know anything about the situation. I had to walk down 22 floors to find out what was happening. Upon leaving the hotel and claiming my vehicle, I discovered after arriving home four hours later that my my vehicle was damaged while parked […] by the hotel's valet service. My vehicle had a large mineral deposit on the front of the hood, which dripped down the front of the truck. I had to take the truck to a body shop to find out how to remove the stain and damage to the front hood. I will never stay at the hotel again or use their parking. "Excellent for the price"
I'm going to keep it short. You can't beat the location for the price. We had a corner king room with windows all the way around for a spectacular view for under $100. It is one block from 16th street mall that has nearly everything you could want to do or eat. There is a free trolley that runs up and down the mall until midnight. The hotel is a little […] older and it looks like they are doing some updating. This is going to be our go every time we make our way back. I think next time we will fly in and take a taxi or the train from the airport to the hotel to save money on valet since there is so much to do within walking distance. We come to see the National Western Stock Show and always stay at the Comfort Inn. We love the convenience to the 16th St mall, the stock show and the dining at the Brown Palace. Walking distance to museums, good food and interesting sites. Especially good to be across from the Brown Palace without the prices. "Downtown Denver Jotwm"
We stayed in a king corner suite. It was too small for more than 4 people to fit inside comfortably. There was no bathtub, microwave or fridge. The positives is that the bed was comfy, the design was updated and modern, the view from the windows is great and there's plenty of drawer/closet space. Oh and breakfast was great hot food. Worst night of my life, the room next to us woke me and my wife at 2 am by a bunch of high school kids havin a hotel party next to us, the whole hallway smelled like weed becuase of them. and they had music blarring and seemed to slam all the doors. then the room right next to us sounded like they were makin an adult movie. so the walls are very thin. "Good value great downtown location"
We had a very comfortable room. Nice linens, updated bathroom. A bit snug, but perfectly acceptable. It is adjacent to the Brown Palace which is a great place for a drink. Breakfast was nothing special. Hot items were lukewarm. Parking is extra but the valet staff were over-the-top in quick response, politeness and helpfulness.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I would stay there again"
Navigating the free breakfast: Breakfast is included, so that's a plus. I would rate the quality of the breakfast as a 3 out of 5. The "scrambled eggs" and tater tots were quite bad. I'm pretty sure the recipe for the "scrambled eggs" consisted of pouring scrambled eggs from a pre-scramble container into a steamer. The addition of a little bit of milk […] and salt would have made the eggs eatable. I do recommend toasting an English muffin and slicing a boiled egg and sausage link into it to make a quasi egg mcmuffin. That comes out pretty tasty. Also, I recommend skipping the SaraLee muffins and taking the time to cook a waffle. Shower: The other key ingredient to a good stay is the shower. The shower had excellent water pressure, however the temperature is not stable when many people are showering in the morning. If you want an awesome shower, take it in the evening. The bed was comfortable, and the location was excellent. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
