My major compaint would be that the room is ready for a upgrading ie everything is very used looking bathroom counter stained everything getting a little beat up.

I liked the area that was closer to the hotel such as gas station, restaurant, stores, and etc. Those trips to places lesser time to make a quick pit stop. I had to stop at a gas station and it was only less than .2 mile from the hotel where I stayed. The overall trip was excellent!

Really old hotel, room doors very old. Had to walk 2 flights of stairs up to room. Pillows too soft and small. Paid too much. Breakfast very basic.Looks more like a motel.

The "new" cleaning crew was hitting each other with towels like in a locker room. They were spraying each other with the window cleaner , throwing things at each other into the parking lot. They should think of hiring more responsible people who need jobs! We asked for ice for in our hot tea and instead of maybe saying ,since we were both handicapped […] she said outside down the sidewalk to the vending machines. the room we had was non smoking and smelled like it had been smoked in for years. My wife and I actually smoke, but never around our 3 year old son, and we could smell it. We booked a non-smoking room but it reeked of smoke. They didn't put fitted sheets on the bed so when you woke up you were on the bare mattress. The surrounding neighborhood included some strip bars and "massage parlors." On the plus side there was an indoor swimming pool, a continental breakfast, and the price was the best in the area.

-easy access to I-77 and is animal friendly..The rooms for dogs are clean and not second rate. A good spot to stay overnight on the way south.

We got this room for just sleep in during our road trip. It was an ok room: clean, comfortable, spacy, A/C worked, bathroom ok. A good place to sleep for that amount of money. Breakfast wasn't really good but a lot better than in most of the places during our road trip: oatmeal to make in the microwave, toast, coffee, waffles.
