Our hotel stay was very satisfactory. Greeted warmly when we checked in. Lovely room, with a compact kitchen. Very comfortable bed with those wonderful puffy pillows. On a compact lot, within easy driving distance to everything.It suited our needs well. Would gladly stay in at another TownePlace when the opportunity arises.

I lived in Pensacola for years and went back to spend the weekend and visit friends. So I knew that the location would be safe and convenient. I was pleasantly surprised, however, by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff as well as the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of this property and the overall comfort of the hotel. It is in […] a beautiful setting in a relatively quiet place, even though it is in the heart of the 9th Avenue commercial corridor. It is also very new as of early 2012. I will absolutely stay here again when I go to Pensacola to visit friends or conduct business. The price was fantastic too, by the way. Read more

We stay in Pensacola a lot visiting family, so in saying that- we normally don't complain on any hotels unless we see that somethings would be helpful to others who don't know there area.... so here goes: Before we made our reservation- I called to double check the pet policy before I officially reserved a room. The lady at the front desk explained […] that the policy was $100 for our total stay, even though I was bringing 2 dogs because my dogs were sooo tiny (one weighs 5 lbs; the other 9). When we checked in they wanted to charge $200 per dog, they fixed it once I explained my confusion; however be aware if you plan to bring pets. Our bed was small- a single Queen, but looked more like a full size; the room was decorated nicely! And was relativily clean, except for the strange odor coming out of the bathroom, and a hair barret my dog found near the tv. Otherwise it was very nice! Loved the icemaker in the freezer in the room and small kitchen! I didn't believe the reviews that people said the walls were thin- some people have sensitive hearing. BELIEVE THEM! We heard EVERYTHING that happened in the halls, next door, in the bathroom next door (ew), and outside- especially when someone honked a car horn constantly at midnight. It was the nicest hotel I found on this website that was available for our stay, however if given the option we will stay somewhere else in the future. Read more

I stayed for business and pleasure at this hotel. My boyfriend and I called it our NY apt bc it was so quaint with lots of amenities like the kitchen with fridge and stove. Enjoyed the stay and would go back again.

I love the Marriot chain, so I may just have too high of expectations. Compared to most of their properties, I felt this one was a little off their excellence mark, but overall it wasn't bad. The staff, as always, were wonderful. The room had a bit of a fishy smell when I checked in, although that could have been from the last guest, as it cleared up […] by my second day. The room was a bit on the small side, and the shower was just a shower (no tub). No huge deal, but there were NO shelves in the shower. That means no where to set shampoo, body wash, etc. There is a tiny soap dish for bar soap, but all my other stuff stayed on the floor of the shower. Full fridge, stove top, big microwave, medium sized TV (which really can't be viewed comfortably from any angle). Breakfast was snack bars, yogart, fruit, cereal, milk, and OJ. No hot tub. The pool seemed a bit small, but I never went in. The fitness room was a bit sparse, but it was enough to get me going in the morning. Overall, I've stayed at much worse places, and if I HAD to return to this hotel, I wouldn't really mind. Read more

The hotel is new and convenient by the Interstate. Staff is friendly. The only concern was the new flat panel tv in our room would not work. It took a couple of days to get it replaced by maintenance as the hotel was full, and no back up tvs were available. The breakfast was convenient, but we had anticipated more than cereal and yogurt. Pets are allowed […] and a very friendly environment for the pets. The pool is not heated, but it was nice to have a drink by it to relax. Overall, I would still go back. Read more

I was very pleased with this hotel and the staff. I was greeted immediately and allowed to check in early. The room was very clean and quite accomodating. It was a tad bit pricey but upon leaving I didnt feel overcharged. They do offer a complimentary cold breakfast and post all upcoming events. The only complaint was the cleanliness of the hallway […] carpet. It showed signs of heavy traffic. The carpeting in the room was very clean. We even used the stove to cook breakfast.
