We were very impressed with the Radisson at Cross Keys! When we first arrived the nearby area didn't look the nicest but once you enter the hotel area, what a suprise! The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and spacious and the surrounding cafes and shops were a nice suprise. It was a beautiful setting in the woods and very convient to get to downtown Balitmore. They also offer the convience of a shuttle if you dont wish to drive into the city. We were very happily suprised at how wonderful the hotel was especially for the affordable price.

I have stayed at many Radisson but this particular one was not up to its standards. I wanted to use my heat and was told the reason why my heater was blowing out cold air is because they were still in 'cool mode' and that it would take for it to become 65 degrees outside to kick in, well that night it reached 41 degrees outside and even colder inside my room with only a space heater. I Know not everyone is anemic like myself but there should always be heat at any given time of the year for what ever reason and not be told you cant use it in when it is clearly to cold outside not to be able to!! Also was very hard to find.

All the staff members were very curteous. The people behind the desk, the housekeepers as well as the diningroom staff were willing to extend themselves for our comfort. However one of the 2 public elevators was out of order as well as the elevator for staff for the 3 nights we were there. It was more of a minor annoyance than an inconvience. The sleep number beds and room style made it an enjoyable experience.

There was also a couple of black hairs in and around the sink when we first came in, and the bathtub itself needed updating. The hotel looked nice, but there seemed to be some lack of regular maintenance underneath it all.

We thought for the price we paid for the room that it might have been equiped with a refrigetator...that actually was the only thing lacking. I also ran into a small incident. They asked for a credit card in case we used any of the imenities, but I was told that nothing would be charged on it....they put a hold on my credit card...thus causing my account to overdraft by 100.00. I put enough money in the account for gas for the trip...that made me not happy. Especially telling me that nothing would be charged against my card...I will know now to ask in advance so this costly mistake doesn't happen to me again.

Nearby shops include two very nice looking cafes (which, again, I didn't try for personal schedule reasons). Parking is free (which is harder to find in Baltimore than one might think!), covered, and attached to hotel. All in all, this hotel is a great value and a real find!

This hotel was a contradiction - it had a beautifully decorated lobby, but the elevator was a little run down. The rooms were spacious, with nice vaulted ceilings, but the baseboards were peeling away from the wall. The shower/tub I found very disappointing - I'm not a big person, but it was tight! And lots of mold. Very unsightly. Customer service was good. Room service, albeit expensive, was efficient and tasty.

We were notified by a posting in the room that we needed to "open the windows" if we needed to cool our room. Apparently, the system worked, but could only provide heat. Our stay at the hotel was amazing; its tucked away in an adorable little shopping center about 10-15 minutes from the Inner Harbor. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle straight to the heart of the Inner Harbor, which really helps save gas, money, and a headache! Technically the shuttle makes runs about every two hours, but the hotel staff was very accomadating and just took us the the Inner Harbor whenever we asked! The rooms are clean and spacious, we stayed in a standard guest room and it was the perfect size and price for two young adults on a romantic getaway. Although the hotel is located right in Baltimore, its security is very reassuring. They always have security guards at the gates, so even in the middle of the night, my boyfriend and I were able to walk around in the courtyard outside the hotel without worry. The shopping center that the hotel is located in is gorgeous as well! Stores like Chicos and Talbots are featured, along with other interesting shops. We didn't go into any of the shops during our visit, but the courtyard in the middle of the center is a gorgeous place to just sit and relax. Its very quiet and serene and the other guests (from my experience) are very courteous. All in all, the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys is a wonderful and affordable choice place to stay at in Baltimore. It offers everything you could possibly need and the staff is very friendly and willing to go out of their way for you.

The bed was fine, the room was clean - but there was no way to control the temperature in your room. The handwritten sign on the wall recommended opening your window or asking for a blanket if you were uncomfortable. The first night, our room was 85 degrees. We opened the window - but then could not sleep due to the noise from the interstate (which was right outside of our window). In addition, the walls were very thin and we could hear ever word of the conversations in the rooms around us. I'm a light-sleeper and may be sensitive to noise - but my husband is not and he was even bothered by the noise and the lack of temperature control. Overall, I was very disappointed and would not stay here again.

This hotel was in a very convenient spot. Decorations were lovely although it was obviously in need of some updating, I felt more at home there because of the decor. The environment was not your usual "hotel theme" which is the way I prefer it to be. Great place if you like to run out and shop or take a walk. Situated near a lovely neighborhood. My only complaint was that on our last night there we were disturbed by discourteous people somewhere on the floor with us. This is certainly not acceptable at all and I did convey my dissatisfaction with the situation. Hotel people made apology and discounted some of the cost of the room. With the exceptions of this incident, I very much enjoyed my stay there and will plan at some point to return.
