Very good location. Near arch of triomphe (very close), metro and bus station.The frontdesk attention Was just excelent. The hotel appearence is very poor but the view to the street is amazing.fnac is at the front.

The hotel is centrally located - 2 blocks away from The Arc de Triomphe and a very reasonable double-decker tour bus stop. There is a Monoprix supermarket next door with an ATM right in the front door. The hotel staff was superb (all of the receptionists and most of the cleaning staff spoke english), the rooms were clean and modern, and the breakfast […] buffet was very good - but not worth the per-day rate. The airconditioning didn't work and the attendant tried to tell us that it was how the system worked after we had turned it on 5 hours earlier. Thank God it was in the 50s outside so we slept with the window open. The elevator, room, etc. are very small!!!!!! Stick to American lines when in Europe!!!!

We have stayed at many Mercure hotels, including others in Paris, but never at one with no bathroom door. In fact, we have travelled to 4 different continents, and haven't seen this at any other hotel. Instead of a bathroom door, there is a see-through sliding fabric shade that pulls over the bathroom door. Since the room is small (that's fine) this […] means the bed is literally sitting right next to the toilet with only a fabric shade between. For a two-person room this is (needless to say) a very uncomfortable situation providing absolutely no privacy. The room was clean, the hotel was well maintained, and the staff and breakfast service were very good. But with no bathroom doors on any of their rooms (we asked) we won't stay here again, nor can we recommend this hotel to anyone. We were disappointed that no other Hotels.com reviewer had pointed out the lack of a bathroom door - unless this is a recent "upgrade" to the hotel. I stayed at the Mercure Paris Etoile in February, just after a light snow had covered the city. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe in a neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. The rooms changed colour, gimmick but it was good ! The beds were nice, there was a shower head but no stand, no ironing board or iron and no door for bathroom so could be awkward depending on occupants ! It was clean and all staff were friendly. Located near several metro stops, pharmacy and a supermarket ! Recommended

This hotel was in an ideal location for us - near the congress centre and not too far from town (15-20mins by metro), just in front of the Arc du Triomphe. After much internet research this hotel lived up to its reputation with v helpful friendly staff and a reasonably sized room (despite others comments) with free wifi and a kettle which is not always […] available in hotels. The bus from Gard du Nord stops right outside the hotel (no 43) or just a few minutes away (no 30) and there are plenty of brasseries and bakers near by for food. Didnt try the hotel's (expensive) breakfast as it was not necessary. The hotel was also remarkably quiet (no slamming doors) with good double glazing. The room is as the photos show with a shower/sink area with no door. The toilet is separate. Complimentary water was also provided each day in the cooler, so despite the price for the room, I'd thoroughly recommend it. Read more

The hotel is super clean. The location is very good (if you don't mind a 15-minute walk to the Champs Elysées). The only complaint I have is that the only English channel they have is BBC. I think the Hotel's management should do something about this.

Fint og roligt værelse og meget venlig engelsk-talende receptionist. Hotellet ligger perfekt til startområdet for Paris Marathon. Tidspunktet for morgenmaden var endda rykket en halv time frem søndag morgen. Det var perfekt for os der skulle løbe.

Precisava de um hotel localizado entre o Palais des Congres de Paris e fácil acesso para os pontos turísticos de Paris, pois eu estava viajando por motivo de congresso e minha mãe ficaria sozinha boa parte do dia. L'hotel si trova in una posizione comodissima, vicino alla fermata della metropolitana e all'arrivo degli autobus da e per l'aeroporto. Il servizio è cortese, l'hotel è moderno e pulitissimo. Le camere sono un pò piccole ma molto curate. Lo consiglio vivamente.
