I absolutely enjoyed my night at this hotel, check in was super easy and quick. The room was clean and comfy, the walls are a little thin but it was no big deal, the staff was nice and quick to respond. Room service was reasonably priced, fast and tasty.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were moved from our first assigned room due to the bolt lock on the door not able to work. When they kindly upgraded our room due to the inconvenience, we found a clump of hair on the sheets and make-up on the pillow case. Made our stay uncomfortable due to the bad start & questioning the cleanliness of the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"LOVED OUR STAY"
I was so excited we were able to stay in West Hollywood and I have to say the hotel was beyond amazing! The parking fee is 38.00 b/c of the valet but it was worth it because I forget how reckless CA drivers are! The hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood and the rooftop pool and tennis courts were nice! Our room was so cute with a little kitchen, dining, […] living, bedroom, and big bathroom. 10/10 Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I enjoyed the boutique style hotel instead of the large chain hotels. The rooftop pool area was great and the hotel was in a great location. The only negative was daily cost of having a car was quite expensive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Le Montrose West Hollywood"
Great hotel close to Santa Monica Boulevard. Its a but dated inside but its very clean and comfortable. Parking was expensive at €39 a nightGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good hotel"
Beautifull stay, hotel is very good, good location, no false pictures, pool is small, but I saw that on hotel's pictures before I selected, so it was fair, it was good, my apartment was huge, no serious problems.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable stay in large, clean rooms"
We booked this hotel because we were traveling with our son and wanted a bigger room. The room was quite large, and has 2 levels, one about a foot higher than the other. The king size bed was on the upper level and the pullout couch bed and sitting area were on the lower level. We actually spent some time in the room so it was nice to have the extra […] space. Disappointments: almost have to use expensive Valet parking because neighborhood parking is residential at nights. Also, pool is actually only about 15 feet long - looks a lot bigger in the pictures. "Great Location and Rooms"
Great location just south of Sunset at the very west end of the nightlife scene. Our room had a great view and a nice private balcony. Request suite #500 if you can. Note parking is $38/night, but that is standard fare for the sunset area. We will be going back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Apparently the rooms descriptions on hotel.com do not match what the hotel has. We upgraded our room according to Hotel.com, for a room with private balcony and hillside/mountain views. The hotel does not have this type of room. Refurbished apts, that are now suites. Needs updating and central AC. Food in hotel, average at best and very overpriced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Excellent Suite Hotel - Excellent Location"
Suite was quite large and comfortable with all the amenities - location was excellent - very pleased overall.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, great location. Don't bring your car"
The hotel is lovely, nicely appointed, quiet, with a gorgeous rooftop pool offering amazing views of the entire area. The room was great except for the step down from the sofa area to the bed area; I tripped over the step twice, but fell onto lovely soft carpeting both times. The neighborhood doesn't allow street parking after 7pm, and the hotel valet […] parking service is extremely expensive. So if you can manage it, don't bring your car. It's only a two-block walk up to Sunset Blvd. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love this Hotel"
Beautiful Hotel, great location by West HollywoodGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was just ok. Room was nice. But it was WAY overpriced for what it is. And they wanted $45 for overnight parking! Forget about it! And the pool on roof is about 12 ft sq. a joke. No comp breakfast. No coffee. Never again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great quiet hotel and excellent for small kids!"
Fantastic for kids. We have a 2 year old and put his bed in the large en-suite wardrobe room, meaning we could dine and watch TV in the living room without waking him. They offer a great babysitting service too!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I honestly don't know why this hotel was rated a 4 star. Let's start with the furniture of this hotel, it's old, dirty, learther is peeling off the chairs and paint peeling off the elavator walls. 1 bottle of water costs $6, so make sure you bring your own. Staff were not friendly, one gave me an attitude because I asked for extra blanket.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice, comfortable room. Public areas (hallways, rugs, elevators etc) need some work, there's a lot of wear & tear evident. Cafe was very good for breakfast. Service friendly. Location is excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Celebrated my bday in Hollywood. Check in was quick. Service was fast. Called for ice and champagne glasses (at separate times) and within seconds there was a knock at the door... Room was clean. Even the pull out sofa was comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Rooftop pool with great view!"
Small, classy hotel on a quiet side street near design center in West Hollywood. Well trained, friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Drinks delivered to the rooftop pool after a day of apartment hunting and LA sightseeing, plus the incredible views, guarantee a repeat visit from us. Highly recommend for adults.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for families too!"
The room was big enough for a my family of 5. My 3 children are under 12 . We had a suite with a king and a pull out sofa bed. One of the unique features of this establishment is that there was an abundance of electrical outlets. Also, the vanity bathroom design made getting ready in the morning roomy for everyone. I also enjoyed the kitchenette and […] balcony. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"If you have a bad back - Do Not Sleep on the sofab"
I was very disappointed in this hotel. The floor we stayed on was under construction and very warm. The room was old with terrible view, noisy air conditioner, and a TERRIBLE sofa bed. I didn't think I would last the night there. I will not stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A gem boutique hotel"
We booked this same day - our original hotel was such a dump that I couldn't stay there and immediately got online to find an alternative. This hotel is conveniently located between Santa Monica and Sunset, incredibly helpful staff, comfortable and spacious room. Would love to stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
I was really excited to go to this hotel for my birthday, I even went for the king suite. The location was a few blocks away from Sunset which was great but there was no street parking so you are forced to use their valet for about $40 a day or risk getting a ticket on the street. The entire time we were there, everyone was very nice so I have no complaints […] there. The downside, the "King Suite" was tiny! I was expecting it to be big but when we walked in, it was no bigger than a regular hotel room you would pay for at a cheap motel. Not worth the upgrade. Also, there was construction going on inside the hotel. It was a few doors down from us but it wasn't too loud and they stopped at a reasonable time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Location and Staff but hotel needs a interior"
We enjoyed our stay at LeMontrose the location and staff were great. This property needs a complete overhaul of the interior and rooms. we were in room 212 a very spacious 1 bdrm. There was some sort of construction taking place as you exited the elevator, and the carpet and furnishings were from the 90s. Although the unit had a full kitchen there were […] no plates, glasses, cups act. The pool area on rooftop proviced nice views and the tennis court was an added bonus. Also, the only option for your car is $38 per day valet service as they do not offer self park and no overnight street parking is available. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The place I hang my hat at when heading to LA"
I have stayed here multiple times over the past several years. Each time I have always been satisfied with the hotel. I recognize the same Front Desk staff who have been pleasant and warm. The hotel is conveniently located between Sunset and Santa Monica Blvd. It was perfect location for a wedding in Beverly Hills that I was attending, while being convenient […] to all that I needed, shopping, restaurants, and a short drive to/from the airport that does not take me onto the freeway. Only ting that draged down exerience from a excelent was some renovating work done at our floor due to a water sprinkler that had gone off.Genuine Expedia guest review

"hotel on a hill. valet parking"
It was good. The hotel is on a hill and it's valet parking only. The rooms and staff are pretty good. Small pool and hot tub on the roof was decent. The elevators didn't work one day, so we had to take the stairs. I'd say this hotel is closer to 3.5 starsGenuine Expedia guest review
Location,Hotel and rooms are ok. Just the bathroom are too small! Valet Parking 38 $ per day...too much! No table for Dining in the room, despite they offered room Service! Room had a small balconey which we could not use, because the window door where locked...no fresh air!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Lovely hotel in west Hollywood neighborhood"
Nice room, nice staff... Great neighborhood with great restaurants so did not eat at hotel. I would return.Genuine Expedia guest review
From someone who is consistently traveling for both business and personal, this hotel was one of the best. Great professional and courteous staff with a great attitude, prompt service all around. The room was laid out nicely, from the kitchenette, patio, fireplace, large bedroom and bathroom area not too mention the amazingly comfortable bed. I had […] to request a late check out to enjoy the room a little more. Great walking distance to local bars which was a plus for this weekend getaway. Definitely returning again!! "Nice hotel, large king room"
Good check in experience, upgraded from queen to king room. Large king room with sitting room area and fireplace. Window AC, but it worked and effectively cooled room during untypical LA heatwave.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good, but not as good expected"
I booked this hotel for a few specific reasons. 1.) location 2.) amenities and 3.) parking. Unfortunately, it didn't quite deliver on most of these fronts. First off, the hotel is close to Sunset but at certain hours Hammond st is blocked off before Sunset. Not a big deal, but still an inconvenience. For amenities, I was excited about the pool, jacuzzi, […] fully stocked kitchen, and furnished balcony. The pool and jacuzzi more than delivered, but our kitchen was not fully stock nor was the balcony fully furnished. In the kitchen there was a sign stating you needed to call to get spoons, bowls, etc., but that was not stated in the hotels.com description ahead of time. As for the balcony, it had *nothing* on it. Finally, this hotel was stated as having both self-park and valet parking. Since I had a Zipcar, it was really important that self-park was available (as valet is not an option with the Zipcar card system.) When we arrived at the hotel rather late (around 1am), we were told it was only valet. We were shown the closest self-park facility, which happened to be closed at the time. The very friendly and helpful attendant Le Montrose let us park in the valet garage, but it was an exception to the rules and we still had to pay full price. So ultimately, while there were some great aspects about this hotel, it wasn't worth the price. Next time, I'll look for Airbnb. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Simply: Old, Dated and Unclean"
Sadly, we were very disappointed by Le Montrose. The last minute discounted price was great and the hotel on the web looked like a 4.25 star stay. The hotel is located in a neighborhood just blocks away from the LA Design Center (our one-day destination). The exterior of the hotel was, well, dated, with a thick mustard painted coat of stucco and false […] window panes - signs of a not-so-good makeover. While the lobby staff were very accommodating, the next sign of trouble was the significant wear and tear visible in the lobby furniture. We were first given a room on the ground floor, which in a rural location would be fine, but in W. Hollywood, not so good. So, before leaving the front desk, we requested a different room not on the ground floor. We were given a room on the 4th floor. However, the room, which looked nice enough, smelled terrible, like housekeeping had tried to cover over the smell of urine. We then asked for another room and were given a room on the 5th floor. That room, again looked nice, but also smelled horrible, with a very strong scent of mint to cover over some other odor. That was it for us. The lobby staff refunded our parking fee and advised us that we needed to contact Expedia to seek refund. In the end, we ended up at the W Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. Sadly, the Le Montrose is not even close to a 4 - We'd say it's more like a 3. Time for a real make-over. "Great location and quiet"
I love Le Montrose. Convenient to Hollywood, Studio City and Burbank where I do most of my work. Just off the Strip and quiet at night. Friendly staff just tops off an all around great place to stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel, but under renovation.."
We had a great stay and the room was everything we wanted, and plus some! Really well laid out and a fire place. The rooftop pool really topped it off. I'd definitely stay here again. I would have liked to know that the hallways were all being renovated before had, as I might have stayed somewhere else. Walking through construction to and from the room […] everyday was subpar. Great hotel, tucked away, great service. Room was clean and quite nice. My only issue is there was pretty serious construction going on in the hall outside my door so that was a bit off-putting and at times it was sort of smelly too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
40$ to park the car overnight was a little much when your paying over $220 for a room. The room was very large (Too big for one person) the two TVs were a plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We have stayed twice at Le Montrose. Once in 04 and this time. I can honestly say it just keeps getting better. The location is walking distance to sunset boulevard and easy drive to anything else. We will definitely stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The suite was nice, and super spacious. The bedroom area had it's own door and blackout panels, blocking out the light from the rest of the suite. Bathroom was big, and had a huge vanity with lots of mirrors. In addition to to vanity the tub and toilet were sectioned off with their own door inside the bathroom. Bathroom was easily big enough for 2-3 […] people to use get ready. The balcony was just ok, but I'm guessing smokers would appreciate it. Fireplace was cool, but it was attached to a timer that was a little noisy. No iPod docks or anything so plan to bring your own speakers for any kind of mood music. Overall a nice suite, with plenty of room. We'd definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cozy boutique hotel close to Sunset Strip"
My 3 night stay at Le Montrose was just what I needed. The room was cozy and the hotel staff went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. In fact, one of the concierge greeted me and addressed me by name as entered/exited the property. The staff was able to make excellent suggestions for breakfast and manicure/pedicures. And upon my departure […] I was given a pre-printed card with directions to the airport. When I informed the concierge that I needed to return my rental car first he printed out directions to Alamo.
