I book 2 rooms in this hotel on the last weekend of February, 2013. Each of our room is one bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms. The kichen area and family room are seperated from the bedroom. The sofa could converted to a bed for my mom in different room for her to read at night without disturbing other sleepers. Our family enjoy the spacious room and its facility. The indoor swimming pool is heated and clean with towles. The sauna is clean and not too hot like most sauna in the fitness centers. We cook and ate together in one room. There was just enough everything for everybody. One draw back from this hotel is they do not have maid clean your room everyday. They said they only offer cleaning room in the middle of your stay if you book with them four or more nights. We were so busy with other fun activities in the area so we didn't stay in the room long. The best brunch buffet we had was in Peppermill casino. With about $24.00/adult, and $13/kid like most buffet in the area price, they had king crab leg, crab, stead, prime rib, sausage, eggs, fish and lots of other items except sushi. They provided good service and offered champagn.

Ok, but the cable and phones lines were cut! (Which didn't bother me too much due to working wifi.) The hotel staff was understanding about the problem.

Very efficient and friendly at check in and out. Many dining choices. Needed early morning shuttle to the airport but they did not start the service... that early which was one of the factors I had used in picking the hotel. by pl from denver on 06/12/13

Eldorado Coffee Company - Just outside Tivoli Gardens, the hotel's own Eldorado Coffee Company roasts, blends, and brews its own coffees, available for purchase by the cup or by the pound.

BuBinga Lounge - The Eldorado's popular nightclub offers on-tap infused cocktails, a champagne and wine bar, dance floor, and live music, all in a wood paneled- and-velvet setting. Admission fee.

Stadium Bar - Next to the Sports Book on the casino floor, this is a good spot to place a bet, grab a beer, and watch the race.

Plaza Bar - Located between La Strada and the Prime Rib Grill restaurants, the Plaza Bar is open nightly for pre- or post-dinner drinks.

Showroom Bar - Just outside the Eldorado's 580-seat showroom, this wood-paneled bar is a nice place to enjoy a pre-theater drink.

Pho Mein – Authentic Asian noodle kitchen that serves up oodles of noodles for sit down or take out on the go. They have an extensive menu that features an array of Vietnamese and Chinese favorites.

Sushi Sake – The atmosphere is young and hip; the bar itself is equipped with iPads that displays the mouth-watering menu. Guests can also use their iPad to search for information on all the Eldorado happenings via the top-rated Eldorado App. The bar seats up to 18 people with additional table seating and service throughout the patio area. Contemporary in design with hints of Euro-Asian accents of bamboo rings, pendant lighting and fish-scale leather upholstery.

La Strada - This Northern Italian restaurant specializes in freshly made pastas, such as the signature mushroom ravioli served in a country-villa setting. The well-stocked wine cellar features labels from the Carano family vineyard. Open for dinner only.

Bistro Roxy - The chic Bistro Roxy also has an impressive cellar, but this French-influenced fountain-side spot might be better known for its 102 kinds of martinis. Live entertainment nightly in the lounge; open for dinner only.

The Prime Rib Grill - Decorated in Old San Francisco-style, the Prime Rib Grill specializes in choice prime cuts carved to order, as well as grilled steak and seafood entrées, all prepared in an open kitchen. There's also a gourmet soup and salad bar. Open for dinner only.

Golden Fortune - Golden Fortune offers 90 authentic Hong-Kong-style specialties, served in a classic Chinese polished-lacquer setting. Open for dinner only.

Very efficient and friendly at check in and out. Many dining choices. Needed early morning shuttle to the airport but they did not start the service that early which was one of the factors I had used in picking the hotel.

For a 2-night stay, the hotel was great. The room was clean & quiet. Good location as it was connected by skywalks with 2 other major casinos. We had queen beds: one was fine, the other was lumpy. Watch out for the mini-bar! Very well-stocked, but pricey if you want to avoid the charges. The only real negative about our stay was that our request for a king bed w/wheelchair access wasn't honored and upon checkin we were given two queens w/wheelchair access. That ended up being okay, except that it was difficult to get my wife's wheelchair around the tight spaces, especially in negotiating a turn into the bathroom. It's a somewhat long […] walk from the parking garage (non-valet option) across the street; not a big deal for me because the elevators are fast and there's a covered walkway connecting the garage and the hotel. A nice renovation would be to replace the small wheelchair-lift elevator with a ramp, leading from the lobby area to the buffet. Otherwise, the room was clean and service was good. we enjoyed ourselves and felt we had had a very nice room, wish the bar items hadn't been so expensive though, but would go back again, it is close to the train station, everything was very clean, the rates were very reasonable. Great place for the price we paid. The security at the elevators is a wonderful plus, and the security personnel were friendly and helpful. The rewards program is second to none; however, it should have been mentioned to us when we checked in and explained to us when we received our cards. Also, our reservation came with some comp. tickets and booklet […] and we forgot to ask about it when we were not given anything at check in. When I went back to front desk the next day to inquire, the attendant looked up our room number and immediately saw what we were due. I was sad to see that the downtown area of Reno was in sad shape. The hotel was great, the room wonderful, the food good. The surroundings lots of homeless people, not sure it was safe to be out at night near the hotel.

We were a little disappointed with the quality and size of the room as we are used to hotel rooms being a little more grandiose. Everything was fine with our stay. Casino was nice. Casino staff was very helpful. The brew pub staff was very nice and the food was good.

Very hard to find the parking since we had never been there before so had to drive around to find it. Excellent room! We had an unexpectedly amazing suite. It had a huge conference table, living room, bar/kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. Everything in our room was very clean too. It was a pleasant surprise.

Our family lives in Reno and we visit 2-3 times a year. We have stayed at just about every major hotel in the "best little city". By far we have found the Eldorado to the top choice all around. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good choices in restaurants on property. We do not even look elsewhere any more when we make our plans to go up.
