    We were very satisfied that the hotel was close to transit so that we did not have to bother with a car (and having to find a place to park the car)....     Awkward location but close to metro. Exercise room so smelly and dingy we refused to use it. Parking outside rooms limited due to reserving it for tour bus use (Which woke us up one morning). Had to park underground but on premises. Nice to have refrigerator and microwave in room.

    The hotel is in great shape for its age. It is a great value. Easy 2-block walk to the Rosslyn Metro station. Lots of restaurants close by. The restaurant next door was not open our first day, but then opened and was very convenient for breakfast and dinner. Free parking is included....most hotels nearby charge you $18-$25/day to park. The only downside […] was that the indoor pool is in it's own separate building. You have to walk outside for 20 feet or so to get in & we stayed there in early April so it was a bit chilly after swimming. We survived however and enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again. Read more

    My friend and I were going back down to DC to visit my family but wanted a place to ourselves. It was in the perfect location since we were sight seeing. We walked over to the Iwo Jima memorial and were very comforable in our room.     Compared to my experience at the Best Western Hotel in Boston close to the Harvard Medical School, Best Western Iwo Jima is a notch down but still a great hotel for the price.. I selected this Hotel because of its nearness to the venue of my meetings as well as to the Rosslyn Metro and some historic sites.

    Location in neighborhood is okay. To the south are residential buildings and north is business. Nearby metro station is convenient although DC metro is expensive compared to other cities. We had the breakfast option with the room but the receptionist knew nothing of it. Didnt matter because Safeway is nearby and room had microwave and fridge....
