Great stay, friendly staff 100% little far from from town but only 10 minutes...so not really far. Had a late flight asked for another night to stay, staff said instead of paying another night I can give you a late check out at 8:00pm wow! was happy for that never had that late of a checkout! It is a run down, has-been hotel that once might have been 5 stars but is now run like a 3 star. it is close to the beach and has a nice pool but the actual building is not too impressive and it is too expensive for what you get.

The reception and the friendliness of the staff were very pleasing. They were also very helpful when asked for any kind of service. Regarding the hotel and the rooms, they need a lot of renovation, specially the rooms. The toilets need maintenance and the air condition in the rooms isn't as expected. Will not be returning to this hotel. My husband and I were highly disappointed with the staff. If you want to stay in Larnaca, Golden Tulip is a good choice. Clean and comfortable rooms, right prices, great pool and pool bar. Staff is also kind and helpful.

We were happy with our stay overall but our holiday was ruined by a very rude and unfriendly waitress who we used to encounter at breakfast. We think her name was Katrina, she ignored our requests for tea or any other items that we had to order to the point that we felt we couldnt sit and eat in the area that she was likely to be serving. The hotel was very pleasant. The only reason for the four rating was because the food was quite expensive. But you could get a decent meal for €30 with drinks for two across the road. There was also a charge for the use of the spa area. But overall a very pleasant stay. Would go again and have recommended to people already. A good location but poor room maintenance. Broken fixtures and fittings, minuscule soap, no conditioner, replacement towels, milk, tea not always proided. I have seen better in 3 star hotels. Today's experienced traveller expects more. This is not 1970.

First impression was made by reticent and unhelpful front desk staff. The property is tired with peeling facade and 1970s vintage public interior spaces. Elevators are small. Room sizes were adequate, but were nothing better than glorified dorm rooms with the several layers of sloppy paint and grimy corners showing the hotel's long hard life. Tv had […] a layer of dust on the whole ten days of our stay. The room cleaning was quite bad with hairs in the bathroom, dust and filthy baseboards. Towels were for all but one day threadbare and tattered. Door to the balcony was broken. Staff entered room on several occasions without knocking. Location is FAR from town, but proprerty has it's own beach. Locales next to property seem like large, but empty beach pubs. In all, it was far from it's rated level of quality in our opinion. When we asked to speak with the general manager, we were told he was busy in meetings and presumably too busy to speak with his hotel guests. This Hotel has lots of repeat holiday customers, for in my opinion stay here only if you need a place to stay in Larnaca. Sorry we couldn't be more positive. Read more

There was an issue on my room reservation, Expedia are partly to blame but the Hotel Management was totally unsympathetic and unhelpful. I had booked a Seaview Room and was given a Side Seaview, overlooked by 200 rooms at an adjoining Hotel, 50 metres, or so away. I could have been given a room on the Eastern side of the Hotel, which would have partly […] ameliorated the problem. When I arrived at the room allocated, the A/C in the room was not working, but this was quickly attended to, as was the fact that I discovered that the connecting doors to the adjoining room were unlocked. The room had obviously not been properly checked out. The loud noise from entertaining went on until 11.30 pm and a three and a half hour tenor saxophone recital from 8.00 to 11.30 one evening did not help the family in the next room to settle, particularly as I could hear everything through the connecting door. This is not a hotel for business travellers, or for families with small children if they are located on the Western side of the hotel, where the entertaining takes place. Read more

This hotel is 3 star, it may have been 5 star in the past but not now. The public areas look ok but have been patched up and do not bear close inspection. Going to your room is like a scene out of The Shining, clinical looking corridors with an empty feel. The room was ok, but 4 star standard at best. In the room is a complementary bottle of wine and […] a mini bar containing several metal capped bottles. The problem is that there is no corkscrew or bottle opener provided. I had to wait and hour and a half to get hold of corkscrew after requesting one several rime and even going down to reception myself! Breakfast was OK as was the room service meal we ordered, when it eventually was delivered. Good Hotel, maybe not a five star as they put in ther logo but well four! Pricey but rooms were big, bed was a little bit too hard though, view from the balcony was fantastic over larnaca bay, service in the bars and breakfast room was excellent. Dit hotel ligt op een mooie locatie aan de beach. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en alles is keurig. Het is niet het goedkoopste hotel, maar voor 5 sterren heeft het een goedd prijs/prestatie verhouding. Wat vreemd is dat je voor WiFi moet betalen. Al met al een aanrader!

Das Hotel habe ich unter anderem ausgesucht, da ich keine lange Anreise vom Flughafen wollte. Und tatsächlich: 45min nach der Landung lagen wir schon am Strand. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und sehr komfortabel. Zum Frühstück gab es eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen. Das Abendessen war für meinen Geschmack zu international; wir sind lieber in eine der […] zypriotischen Tavernen in der Nähe des Hotels gegangen. Vi stannade fyra dagar på the golden bay beach hotel och hade en positiv upplevelse överlag. Lågsäsong, vi var själva vid solstolarna när många andra gäster valde att ha på sig dunjacka. Som svensk tar man vara på soltimmarna! Skönt att kunna bada i inomhuspoolen då de utomhus var alldeles för kalla denna tiden på året. Otroligt trevlig personal, mycket […] hjälpsamma och de pratade bra engelska. God frukost, saknade dock mer färsk frukt som tex melon. Tio minuter bussfärd in till larnaca precis utanför hotellet, perfekt. Jag kan inte bekräfta de fem stjärnorna då vårat rum verkligen inte hade samma standard, sprickor i badrums taket, hål i handfatet, balkongdörren gick inte att stänga utifrån mm. För oss var det dock inga problem då vi inte är så kräsna, men som sagt, kanske inte femstjärnigt. Séjour agréable, hôtel avec beaucoup de services (piscine intérieure, billard, etc. mais certains payants : sauna...). Il y avait peu de monde donc c'était très plaisant, mais c'est la (très) basse saison (28 déc). Par contre, us et coutumes un peu étranges, car deux fois des hommes travaillant pour l'hôtel sont entrés dans la chambre alors que nous […] dormions (erreur de room service et remplissage de mini bar!). Un vrai problème d'intimité ds la chambre. On a également trouvé un énorme insecte genre cafard dans la salle de bain (mais près de la mer c'est fréquent, donc bon). Le reste était vraiment bien, la mini-suite était très jolie, le jacuzzi sur la terrasse face à la mer, un peu le rêve! Plage collée à l’hôtel, donc très chouette, mais l'hôtel est loin de Larnaca (quelques bus emmènent ds le centre, mais horaires fournies n'étaient pas les bonnes...). Larnaca ne vaut pas tellement le détour, il n'y a pas grand choses, si ce n'est une marina avec pleins de bars restos. Read more

Personale alla reception molto gentile, le camere rispondevano ai criteri richiesti con la prenotazione. Peccato per un piccolo difetto alla porta finestra. La colazione era di ottimo livello, le piscine pulite e la spiaggia ben tenuta.
