"Only if you have no other choice"
I get it, it's a Travel lodge so you don't expect much but it was $300 plus tax for one night. Please!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Economic hotel close to SFO"
Quick check in time. On time airport shuttle. Would stay there again the night before an early morning flight.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Overnight on a long layover"
I needed just a place to sleep, shower, and rest between legs on a long journey. I felt comfortable and cared for in this budget hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
I've never seen so dirty hotel before in my live. Everything is very very bad! I checked out after 6 hours!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Possibly the worst hotel in San fransisco."
Wifi worked for a total of 4 minutes on both my phone and laptop. No hot water in shower, I spent 20 minutes fixing the rattling AC so I could sleep with only the highway traffic trying to keep me awake. Moldy sink, cracked paint falling off walls, hotel staff doesn't speak English.... Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.Genuine Expedia guest review
Rooms were not up to date but clean. Serves its purpose as a hotel right by the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap hotel in a high priced area"
If you want a cheap basic bed and shower in an expensive area near SFO than this hotel is for you. Basic and outdated but close to the area. The only negative thing about the placed is that they place a $100 hold on your credit card incase "incidentals" arise. There is no pre-warning and it is not waived. Further, the $100 fee is not withdrawn at time […] of departure. I have not had this happen before in 40+ years of traveling, especially from an old, rundown motel!!! "Close to Airport when I was stranded but not clean"
I ended up having to book last minute bc of airline and my standby ticket. It was the least expensive and now I know why. The shower was pealing and kind of gross. The carpet was horrible, old, and very stinky. In fact the entire room really stunk bad. Had to keep windows open and it was noisy. Got out as quick as we could in the morning...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Easy access to airport & freeway, fair priced."
Room small, A/C OK, good shower, easy access to airport car rental and freeway.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Relly disappointed and will not recommend"
The lobby and the breakfastroom are small and very crowded. The facility in the room is old and not maintained. In the first room there is no hot water and the toilet can not be flushed. We have to change the room. In the second room, the Safer is locked without key and can not be used. We have called service, but the staff told us that the techniker […] is already out of duty and the safer can only be fixed in the next day but until we left the hotel, no one is come to fix the problem. The only consolation for us is that the cleaness in the room is OK. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"It does the job"
If you want to save and do not care about comfort, this is your hotel. We got there and the carpet was still kind of wet, moist, humid. As soon as you opened the door an old moist smell came out of the room. The shower was really bad and old and PLEASE do not forget to bring flip flops. It has "Continental Breakfast" Bananas, oranges, cereal, coffee, […] oatmeal and breads. Theres an I hop right next to it but, it is nice that they have free fruit at least. It was very inexpensive and I mean you just go sleep there. NExt time wont be staying there though its not worth it unless you are on a strict budget and there's not anything else. Down town San Fran is very close so thats a good thing and there are a couple gas stations close to it as well. Freeway is right next to it. Over all you really pay for what you get. "Too expensive for price. No wifi reception."
First of all, fees and taxes were $15 to book this hotel on Expedia. As soon as I walked into the room, I started coughing and sneezing because it was so dusty. It smelled dirty and stuffy. The bed was big, but you could feel every spring in the bed. Although they claim to have wifi, it doesn't reach all of the buildings, only the reception/lobby area. The […] shower/bathroom was by far the worst part. The shower floor was rusty and brown. I didn't even take a shower because it looked so unsanitary. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There is a Holiday Inn, 4 Points hotel, and a lot of other cheap hotels nearby that I would recommend trying. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"budget deal. Great for the price."
Very pleasant. For the price and location it can't be beat. Its not the Ritz, but it is very user friendly for the practical person.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Find another hotel"
The room was horrible...looked like the door had been kicked in, and slopily replaced with boards. The plush chair had cigarette burns and yuck...we found a ketchup wrapper on the floor. The carpets seemed to have burn marks. I could smell bug spray too. Don't let the picture of the pool fool you, the hotel sucks. The breakfast was minimal; jelly, toast, […] coffee and cereal and fruit and sweet roles, 100 to the box. Breakfast ended promptly at 9 a.m. I recommend you find another cheap hotel; I would have if I had not previously paid for it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"screaming freeway noise and grimy carpets"
Embattled property. Freeway noise made it impossible to talk outside our room door. Carpets had grime ground into them such that a walk from the bed to bath turned the soles of our feet black. We had to carry our toddlers around the room... Frequented by construction contractors during the weekday. Hard working men with dirty job-site shoes have doomed […] the carpets, They were unwinding by drinking beer in the hallway as we checked into our room. Glad to see a South City police cruiser slowly drive through the property in the evening. Did not feel like a safe environment for my wife & kids. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I would recommend this place to anyone."
Although we did not get a non-smoking room, it did not smell of smoke. We had requested a non-smoking room. We liked that we had a free breakfast. Parking was ample. The location was fine. We were able to get back and forth to town easily. It was a quiet location. You only heard the busy freeway when you were outside. This place was well worth the […] price. the hotel staff was very nice and the location to the airport was perfect. however the hotel in in much need of updating. I stayed here 15years ago and it has not changed since then.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was not a good experience. My room was a smoking room, even though I reserved for a non-smoking room; the Internet was down; the room was dirty, and the T.V. picture was not clear.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"San Francisco Travelodge"
A well worn and over used hotel, in an ideal location for the airport but fairly grubby, worn and not that well kept. Room was small and despite being non-smoking wrecked of a cross between stale smoke and BO. Not pleasant.Genuine Expedia guest review
There were two lights that were burnt out which were repaced. The bathroom door was off its race. when I put it back on it was hard to open and close. The internet didn't workGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Terrible! In the 1st place I requested a non smoking room and they gave me a smoking room in which I could barely breathe and my clothes smelled awful the next day! I will never book them again They also wanted $200 for security No way, I had to dispute that! Fortunately, I won. Awful!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"not a good place to stay"
I cannot fit all my comments into the space allowed, but here are the highlights: 1) potential criminal activity in the parking lot, 2) there is no security here on most nights, 3) a broken bathroom door stuck shut meant that we could not always use the bathroom in our room, 4) it took days for the broken door to be fixed, 5) food in the breakfast area […] was not replenished in a timely fashion, and the breakfast area had inadequate seating, 6) front desk staff gave incorrect information, 7) I saw house keeping staff handle clean linens in a way that made me think they were not very clean, 8) the several old buildings that make up this motel are on a narrow stretch of land between a busy freeway and power lines. One building is literally about 10 feet from the freeway guard rail, others are a few feet away from being under the power lines. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Just 2 peopel taking care of all the guest traveleres in a busy night.... Condition in my room was old. , bathroom horrible.... !! Cleanliness was ok i think they should do a big renovation!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was greeted by a receptionist with bad attitude. He first assigned me to a room that was not cleaned. When I came back to tell him that he tried to deny that until I showed him a picture that I took with my phone. He then assigned me another room but failed to program the key properly and it didn't open. I was very frustrated with the whole experience […] because I arrived at midnight after 16 hours of flight and had to leave before six the next morning to catch a train to my final destination. Instead of accommodating me professionally, he went on to instructing me to not be nasty and rude. All that for asking him if he could make that that the key he was giving me was properly programmed. "Close to airport"
Badly signed so only found it upon asking directions. In spite of key and password there was no wifi access from rooms, so had to take laptop to reception area to check-in for my flight (in order to avoid 30c/minute charges for using computer in reception. Sorting all this out cost an hour of badly needed sleep. Staff on reception were however most […] helpful and were kind enough to print out my boarding passes without charge. "Only good thing is the shuttle."
Hotel needs major construction work. Only positive thing was their airport shuttle. Staff needs to be trained with customer service skills, and for housekeepers if check out is at noon don't come banging on the door at 8am.Genuine Expedia guest review
"poor hotel - good location"
Our room was poorly ventilated and a foul smell. AC unit made a lot of noise. OK, for a short night before going to the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was not very well ventilated so therefore there was an unusual smell in the roomGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I paid too much for this hotel, but it was the closest to the airport. I missed my connecting flight, and didn't feel like sleeping in the airport for an early flight the next day. The bathroom needs major renovation. I could hardly close the door to the bathroom. The bed was comfortable though with three good pillows.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for."
This is a Travelodge, which means I shouldn't be rating it with 5 star hotel accommodations in mind. So, this is an older Travelodge and it shows in every corner of the room. The carpet, the fixtures, and the paint are all indicative of it. The noise outside of the room is excruciatingly loud because of the freeway. Thankfully, I'm a heavy sleeper. […] The curtains won't stay completely closed. The staff at 11pm was very polite and helpful. It was the cheapest fare I could find last minute and you get what you pay for. "you get what you pay for"
Its a cheap hotel on a loud stretch of road by the airport. Not exactly sure what folks were thinking when they make complaints such as "completely outdated, 80s furnishings, blah blah blah"...its $100 a night in northern California, obviously its outdated, cheap, noisy, and in an unsightly area. It is exactly what you need to fly into town and get […] some sleep before taking advantage of the free toast and frosted flakes before getting out of dodge and continuing on to your final destination. "Stay only if it is the cheapest hotel available"
I cannot believe what I had to pay for a room in this hotel. But it was much cheaper compared to the Inn across the street. The bedroom is passable, but the bathroom is really bad. The bathtub needs replacement. The non-smoking rooms are so far from the Lobby, you really need a vehicle to transport your luggage.
