Reasonable price for a clean room. The hotel restaurant isn't much but there are a couple good options across a street at Holiday Inn or Westin (Daily Grill). Nice staff!

Just after registering, we saw two dogs going through the lobby. When we asked if the pets were kept on a certain floor, we were told no, Being highly allergic , we were concerned. Then when we settled in our room and used the restroom, the toilet was stopped up and it would not flush---very unsanitary!!!! We were very concerned that animals were allowed in any room---usually if animals stay it is on the first floor. Being allergenic to dogs and seeing four of them right after registering, was very nerve racking to us. The toilet in our room did not work right, and it almost overflowed when flushing it. Hotel is clean and convenient to air port but I had the unfortunate luck to get a room across from some very loud individuals. they were up all night loud music loud just plain loud. they had their door open. called down several times but nothing was done about it. wanted to move rooms but had to catch and early flight so i just packed and left.

Stayed there the night before an early morning departure from LAX. Their shuttle bus to the airport departure locations runs 24 hours a day, every 20 minutes or so. Girls in receptions was blowing bubblegum in our face, they take 15 dollars parking fee in their OWN parking garage. The line for the breakfast was long and not enough tables/chairs, people took their breakfast to their rooms or sad in couches in the lobby. In one of our rooms the A/C didn’t work. They send a very nice person, but he couldn’t speak […] or understand English, so I had to tell the reception and they translated to him. Same problem with the security guy who came with our new keys for the new room. The girl in the reception was rude when they had to find us two new rooms, and when I asked how long time it would take (had an appointment) she just said “You have to wait”, and hung up! Talked to the manager and he could see there was a problem, so cancelled the parking fee, but still, the rooms wasn’t clean and there was not enough towels. There is 3 elevators, but the two times we were there (had prepaid, else we would had found another place when we returned) they didn’t work, so people jump in when it finally arrived, no matter if it was going up or down, and also the staff used it, so there was a big pressure on the elevators, and a long wait. The girls in the reception didn’t say goodbye or have a nice day, really rude, and a hotel so close to the airport get a lot of foreign guests and I believe that is a problem, when the staff don’t speak or understand English. Stayed here during the day before a night time flight out of LAX. Requested early check-in but as they were booked full the previous the night weren't able to complete request which is understandable. Was able to get a room an hour before check-in time though. Killed a couple of hours in the lobby which had ample couches and a large screen HD TV. Also […] went to McDonald's which is next door to get some cheap eats. Condition of room was good and was able to sleep off a few hours before my flight comfortably. Room had a large screen HD TV which also helped pass a few hours. Overall a good hotel at the 3-star range and good value. Would definitely stay here again if I get the chance. Read more

La Quinta Inn & Suites LAX is a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of major car rentals with a shuttle to and from LAX. It's a perfect place to stay before or after a flight. The rooms are well appointed and pleasant. The Continental Breakfast is expanded with fresh fruit, yogurt and eggs. Two real high points....the architecture of the […] lobby is so pleasant, well lit, and spacous that you see people in conversation, reading, getting together all through the day and evening. This is so unusual. And we saved a whole day's rental + $15 in parking fees because the desk staff took the trouble to let us know that we could turn in our car when we arrived, and then take the shuttle the next morning. arriving at 1AM, when we got to the end of the hall on the 8th floor, our keys would not work. my son went down to complain/get new ones, returned with security guy who ASSUMED it was we didn't know how to use it (wrong) so he opened it with his master key, and thought we should be OK with not having a key to our room. The La Quinta Inn is a well-appointed hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is just two miles from LAX. They have an in-house restaurant and three fast-food restaurants in walking distance.

Clean rooms, but thin walls...story of a lot of hotels so that's to be expected. However, for convenience to airport, can't beat it. Lots of good restaurants within 5 miles. Clean rooms, a little dated but the hotel's been around for awhile. For the most part, it's a solid chain, and the rooms are very acceptable for the price.

Our hotel stay was great for what we needed. The room was clean and nicely furnished. We had no issues with the shuttle service. It picked us up with-in 5 minutes of us waiting in the designated area outside the airport. The next morning it was ready waiting for us at 4:30 AM. Surrounding the hotel were several fast food restaurants: Subway, Taco Bell, […] McDonalds, etc, etc... The really disturbing thing though was that as we were walking back to the hotel from McDonalds my wife and I were shot at by a passing car and hit by a small plastic beebee bullet. The hotel is conveniently located to the airport and clean. However, DO NOT GET A ROOM NEXT TO THE ELEVATORS. The staff did warn us our room was next to the elevators (only room they had left), but failed to fully explain the warning. I flew into LAX and stayed at LaQuinta before driving to Las Vages. They offered breakfast from 6-9 am. After our trip we stayed another night at LaQuinta. The shower wasn't working right and when I called the front desk and they immediately switched our room. Great service I would stayed there again

The hotel was renovating its elevators so there was considerable delay. This should be a short-term problem. My room was comfortable, but had an overwhelming odor of after-shave or cologne. I was very happy with the overall quality of my stay. The bed was great, it was quiet, the shower head had good water pressure and flow. Hot water came in fast. The breakfast was standard, included eggs and waffles, yogurt and oatmeal. Easy check in and out. Over all It was well worth the money.
