Mold in bathroom and coffee machine. Furniture broken and stained. Hot water took forever. Television and furnishings outdated.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A nice stay in Toledo"
My lower rating of comfort of room was because the air conditioner fan was very loud. It woke me up a couple of times in the middle of the night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room smelled smokey. Not good for a non-smoking room.Food (breakfast) was great.Good service. Will stay again in Nov....we'll see!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Sadly, this hotel needs to be updated - the floor tile in the bathroom was poor, the tv was analog, and the a/c worked intermittently.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value through expedia"
The room was okay. The pool and pool area was very very cold and there was mold growing on the side of the pool. The front desk was helpful and courteous.Genuine Expedia guest review
"OK for the money"
The hotel is a bit old and needs refreshing, but the rate was reasonable and the rooms OKGenuine Expedia guest review

Sink was rusty and bathroom was very disappointing. They need a remodel for the rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, quiet family hotel"
Our room and the hotel itself were clean and comfortable. We asked for a room far away from the smoking area and we didn't smell smoke at all. The pool and whirlpool were clean and nice for our family to take a swim. The hotel is on a pretty busy street.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Used to be nice?"
I could tell hat this hotel was amazing when it opened, it is just REALLY run down. The staff was very friendly and efficient. However, the hotel has peeling wallpaper, the elevator was a wreck, and my entire floor smelled like an old ashtray full of cigarettes. The rooms had adjoining doors, which doesn't bother me, but the walls are so paper thin […] that I knew the person next to me was watching Law and Order all night. pretty difficult to sleep. Wouldn't stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Stay at Ramada"

Clean. Very loud and noisy - poor policy for handling consistently loud guest into the middle of the night. Stayed 2 nights - room was not cleaned. Asked for towels - never showed up; had to go down to front desk and ask again - then they were delivered. Internet service did not work. Service in restaurant 1st night was very poor - many, many mistakes. Would not be my 1st choice
"Disappointing, suite had less value.."
04/14/15 Nicholas K Findlay, Ohio
I was very disappointed in my stay at the Ramada Toledo location. I was there for a formal event where we had many rooms reserved months ahead, I opted to upgrade to the "Junior Suite." The initial experience of my room was to walk into the closet, very uninviting. The bathroom immediately to the right was very tiny, the door barely opened to get into the bathroom area. Only one person could be in the bathroom. The bed / couch area was immediately to the left. The couch was okay, the mini fridge and microwave were decent. The TV however was a nightmare. It was an old tube TV, maybe 27" max. It had a broken power button on the TV itself, so only the controller would work for turning it on or off. When the TV was powered on it made a high pitch noise, and it would be constant and loud. It was so bad that we couldn't even watch a full show without a headache. My friend who opted for the cheaper room had a nice LCD TV mounted on the wall. I do not understand how the upgraded suite had a lesser TV than the discounted room. The bed was very uncomfortable. It had a somewhat cardboard feeling when sitting down, kind of hard to describe. It was a very generic bed. There was a note from the previous time someone stayed in the room, saying that the bed was unable to be made due to personal items left on the bed. I am not sure how that got missed by the cleaning people, as it was in plain sight - making me question the cleanliness of the room. We had the "Formal Area" reserved for our event. This area was attached to the pool. It was muggy, smelled of chlorine, and the acoustics were horrid. We were unable to understand anything said through the speakers. We had buffet style dining. The food was bland, generic, and low quality. The salad was decent, with extra veggies and croutons to add. The green beans were obviously canned and unseasoned, they were barely warmed, had no flavor, and were spongy to eat. The mashed potatoes were very bland, with minimal butter around the edges of the pan they were served in. Again, no seasoning and barely warmed. There was a chicken entree which I did not try, but I did try to lasagna. The lasagna was the worst lasagna I have ever had, not exaggerating here either. The pasta was spongy, the 'cheese' was watery and flavorless, it was sprinkled with barely melted cheddar cheese on top. They somehow made the whole lasagna near tasteless, weird texture, and I could only eat half of my serving before giving up on my whole meal.
"First visit at this hotel"

This hotel is older, but our room was clean. It didn't have a refrigerator or a closet. We had a small dog and was charged $30.00 for a pet fee, which I thought was high. We usually pay $20.00-$25.00. We did not like the complimentary breakfast because there was not much to choose from.

I came up here from south Carolina to watch my nephew play in the spring game for Toledo University. I was pleasantly surprised. The place looks older on the outside but is wonderful on the inside. Grand entrance and all hallways and stairwells have a wonderful air fresher smell to them. Once I reached my room, I was blown away. A memory foam bed and nice bathroom. TV was old but who cares. I ordered room service for breakfast. Huge! Delicious! The staff was wonderful and helpful. Great place
"Don't stay here"

Hallway to my room smelled and carpeting was worn and dirty. Bed was hard, television old and at times not responsive to remote. Coffee for the machine in the room terrible. Bed was too hard. Went to the restaurant in the morning for my free breakfast and no one seated me. As if the employees left.
"Pros and Cons"
03/26/15 JoyfulLearner Gowanda, NY
We just returned from staying four nights at this location. Pros: Friendly and helpful staff (all staff), clean rooms, excellent room service food (best hamburger in recent memory--seriously!!), computer room was top notch. Cons: Small bathroom, dingy hallway carpeting, free breakfast had only three choices (same ones each day) and buffet would have been better. Dated hotel but friendly staff and cleanliness make up for it. Paid $95/night and well worth the price for stay.
"Ok but not fantastic"

The walk to our room from the lobby area was like a 5K. The front desk person neglected to tell us there was a door and parking toward the back of the building closer to our room. The room was clean but fairly mediocre, and the placement of an electrical outlet directly behind the mattress was a bit odd. We did attend an event in the main ballroom which had very pleasant decor, and the food for the event was great.
"Good stay in Toledo!"

Three friends enjoyed our evening at the Ramada; one had her wedding reception there years ago so full of good memories. Check in was quick, thorough and all the info we would need. Nice clean room and spotless bathroom! Enjoyed the coffee in our room before the complimentary breakfast and off to our retreat. Good Job!
"horrible stay across from huge party room"
03/21/15 rwkss01 Detroit, Michigan
after booking 2 months in advance requested rooms with pool view. Were instead across from party room, after several calls to front desk blocked noise by putting mattress in front of door, police arrived at 430am, too late to sleep. Had been here before was giving them a chance to get it right. will never return.
"Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Continental breakfast was..."
03/15/15 Susan C Sidney
Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Continental breakfast was good, but the service was very slow, only one waitress for the whole dining room. Fitness center was very small and had no water fountain nearby. Staff was very friendly though, and the price was good.
