PLEASE READ. I was misled by all the good reviews on hotels.com so booked here for yearly family vacation from July 4th to 9th. The resort was like a large apartment complex, our unit had 2bdrm, 2bth, a small living area and a small kitchen area. Very small living area, feels cramped when all 8people are there. TVs had such poor reception that only […] 2 channels worked. 4 pools on property but we had to drive to them because our room was on the periphery. Housekeeping was great. THE MAIN REASON I booked at a Disney is the convience of Disney's shuttle bus, which ended up being the BIGGEST dissappointment of all. Everyday we had to wait around 45minutes to get on a bus to go to the Parks. Then on the way back it would be another 45minute wait. The last night there we had to wait 75min to return from Magic Kindom. Got back at 2am, called the front desk and requested late checkout. Was told that Saratoga is one of the Disney Vacation Club property, so there is no late checkout. Curbside check-in at the resort for our flight was helpful. So to sum it up, the rooms are serviceable but expensive. Bus transportation was horrible. Resort property was nice and clean. Maid service was spectacular. Front desk not helpful. Curbside airline check-in available. Didn't use airport shuttle or ate at the resort, so can't comment. I would not stay at Saratoga again. Next year, I am going to book at a non Disney resort down the street and save thousands and just drive to the theme parks. Read more

Room itself was actually a mini suite and very spacious with all amenities. Main issue was that it was truly in the "back 40" of the campus and remote from the main lodge. The atmosphere was great and staff very helpful and friendly. The main building, pool areas and the grounds were imaculate. The room was very nice, but if you walked in your socks on the rug they were totally black on the bottom. Also, I don't know how or what they used to clean the ceramic floor, but the floor was always sticky from cleaning residue. […] We were in a one bedroom villa. The bed was great, but the pull-out couch was very, very uncomfortalbe to sleep on (and also to sit on). Great hotel. Conveniently located to Downtown Disney. I liked that you get more outside time in this resort compared to the other mega-hotels. You walk the same distance as you would with other Disney hotels but with Saratoga, you walk out in the fresh air, not through big conference halls and ballrooms. Large family suites with room for everyone! The kitchen was an awesome asset to help keep down some of the food costs. Full-size fridge and on-site market allow guests to keep snacks and drinks on hand. Housekeeping cleaned the dishes I had left for later - excellent unexpected surprise!! Overall enjoyed staying at Saratoga Springs! Only negative was […] that we are not Disney Vacation Club members so some of the kids' activities cost money. The resort is spread out and the layout is confusing. Maps weren't much help. No sit down restaurant for breakfast and they stop serving breakfast early for us people coming from the West Coast. No place to stock up on provisions. But other than that we liked it.

The property is gorgeous! My friends and I stayed in a 1 bedroom villa for a week. The place was spacious and had numerous amenities (washer/dryer, balcony, kitchenette, jacuzzi hot tub). The only thing I can possibly complain about was the likelihood of dust in the curtains. I have allergies and I would open the curtains every morning and start sneezing. […] The resort staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I arrived before 8am on the Magical Express Bus and the front desk was very quick in getting me my room. It was apparent I had come in on a red eye and was in need of a nap. The resort is the closest to WDW, within walking distance or ferry distance. The resort is family friendly, but for those, like myself, who don't want to ride in a packed bus with lots of kids (value resort hotels), then the Saratoga Springs Resort is for you. Minimal kids, sitting room on the bus, relaxing and quiet atmosphere, and romantic if need be. I wish I had more time to explore the entire property and make use of their spa. My best friend utilized the spa on her last day there and she said she had wonderful service, worth every cent. Read more

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa in Congress Park. Great location to Downtown Disney (walking distance) and very easy to walk to bus pick up location. Just from our bus rides, I noticed that Congress Park, the Paddock, Carosaul, and the Springs were the most convenient locations. Great pools, especially the pool at the Paddock. It offered a great water slide, activities for children and families, as well as a separate area for those children under 46 inches. The kitchen was great. We had purchased snacks, drinks, and cereal which was great in terms of saving some money on breakfast. Also had a stove, microwave and dishwasher. We did utilize the washer and dryer as well. This was our first trip back to the Magic Kingdom in 20 years so when we were planning our trip it was difficult so really get a feel for each of the resorts from just the pictures and descriptions. I must say that we were very satisfied with our choice. We stayed in a Saratoga Springs two bedroom Villa and ended up in the Paddock building. This areas […] had its own pool and small food area which was very beautiful and a nice offering so we did not have to go all the way back to the main area to swim and eat if we did not wish to. The entire property was beautiful and well maintained. The transportation areas were well placed with ample shuttles. The food was good all though typical Disney over pricing was in place. The room it self offered a main living area with full kitchen and double sleeper sofa also two chairs and a bar seating area. The master with a King bed, full tub and separate shower. the second bedroom had two queens (yes actually queens) with its own tub/shower and a separate double sink area. We stayed here with a party of 5 adults and 3 kids and we all had our own space and were very comfortable. If your looking for over the top Disney this is not the place for you. While it was a Disney property there were only suttle hints of Disney charm rather than characters and logos everywhere. The price was high but by the time you averaged out 8 guest in one suite it wasn't that bad. I would stay here again! Read more

The hotel itself was very quiet and comfy. Conveniently located next to Downtown Disney with regular shuttle service. The food was ok at the Artist's Palette, nothing great, but good enough for quick service. My only complaint would be the assistance of the front desk staff. I had a large budget to spend on as many trips and tours I could get my hands […] on. They simply told me the website or phone number and sent me on my way instead of helping me book any of it. The Saratoga was a great place to stay. We stayed in a two bedroom villa - tons of room for a family of 5. The only drawback was the distance our building was away from both pools and the Main Front Desk Building. I would definately return to this hotel but would request a villa closer to these area.

Disney's Saratoga Springs is a beautiful facility. Through Expedia, I lucked into it as I planned the trip of a lifetime for my kids. And, if you are spending your time at the Disney theme parks, your transportation is completely taken care of by a more than adequate--and FREE--bus service. We also visited Universal Studios while we were there. We discovered that it was both more convenient and cheaper to take a cab rather than the independent/ for profit shuttle bus. Bottom line: I think the Disney Resorts are the only way to see Orlando. And I think that the Saratoga Springs is one of the more attractive options. Read more

Check in was fast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Used the Disney transportation system to access all parks. Never waited more than 5-10 minutes for a bus. Loved the easy walking access to Downtown Disney from our room. Would definitely stay here again.

I have been to other Disney resorts and have found the main buildings and eateries quite large in comparison to Sarasota Springs Resort. The dining area was under construction leaving a small area to eat and socialize. However, the close distance to the Marketplace did make an afternoon pass while awaiting for our room to be ready.

Then I called again to ask for the rate for staying until 3pm, they put me on old for 30 minutes and finally gave me the answer "we are completely sold out for the day" which they should have told me in the first place. It's totally wasted my precious […] packing time (when I'm already running out!) When I complained to the front desk during check-out, they were cold and indifferent.
