It was ok. Nothing special. The AC unit was very loud and the whole room rattled whenever it came on. I will most likely not stay there again.

The king bed was as hard as a rock. After the first night, I asked Housekeeping if they could add anything to the bed to make it softer. So they added a queen sized "egg" foam layer which helped. The rooms were clean and the employees working at this hotel were all great. For the price, this moderate Disney hotel is good. Food service poorly organized. Inadequate seating at peak times caused overflow into an adjacent lounge and closed dinnerhouse. Distance to room was excessive. Least favorite of out eight consecutive annual Disney getaways. We will not choose this resort again.

Wonderful as always... - Hotels needs to update web site. The STANDARD room does not have the option of a KING bed as you may believe from the web site, that is a separate category at WDW resorts. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The only problem we had was the bed was very uncomfortable it was too hard. Our power was lost during the stay. Apparently a transformer blew out it took a couple hours to get it restored. During this time staff was very helpful and came to anyones aid promptly.

The service was exceptional, from bell men to vallet to beach service. They have a service charge per day for the hotel which is fine bc you get the lounges and wi-fi and some other amenities, but just be aware. This hotel did not meet my expectations. The check in process was long. The girl did not speak clear and too soft spoken. The room was not ready and they said they would text us which they never did when the room would be ready. We paid for a riverside room and ended up right next to the parking lot. The whole experience is not worth staying there.

We really enjoyed the Port Orleans Riverside hotel. I've stayed at the Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs, and like this moderate resort the best... there were things for kids, but once you got away from the main areas, the rooms were spread out and relatively quiet (for those of us without kids).

Check-in took very long, but check out was quick. (did not have to check out at lobby desk-that was convenient) Check in was at 3:00pm but hotel texted us room number to check in at 1:30 pm. This was great. Made reservation for a king but got double. Was in great location, close to private pool. Bathroom had hair on floor but room was comfortable.

Beautiful Disney resort! bridges, pools, river, ponds, hammocks, trees... the wilderness... absolutely loved it. Transportation to the theme parks using the disney buses is great, the wait time wasn't much when we visitied in the 3rd week of February. They have an upscale restaurant which is pretty good. The rooms are scattered around the property and depending on where you are there is a bit of walking involved to get to the buses or the lobby. Loved the hotel experience and was very impressed by the "infrastructure" of DisneyWorld Parks. The transporation is well organized as well. Was very good but very crowded and it really is more family oriented which is great. I would highly recomend it.

We just returned from another wonderful stay at Port Orleans Resort. To us, it is the best value for the money of all the Disney resorts. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, and the surrounding grounds are just beautiful. Lots to do. Limited dining options and considerable walking would be the only drawbacks.

The hotel was beautiful. Someone could make a real vacation out of just staying at the resort if they wanted to. The rooms were very clean and asthetic value made you feel like you were paradise.
