"Our Stay"
Our stay at the Wyndham Indianapolis West, was nice. I wish they there have been a microwave & a refrigerator in our room, since we were on the 5th floor. Elevator was out closest to our side, so had to take the stairs. Overall, it is a very nice clean Hotel.

"Not happy"
Encountered a bed bug in room 149, was moved to 473. Following morning got 1p.m. checkout and told cleaning lady we would be back later, don't clean yet. Returned to room done cleaning had money in cup and things still in there and she wanted to know what he was doing.

"Parking charge not included."
I was told by Hotels.com that it was free parking to leave my car at the hotel for my entire trip. I even had the Hotels.com staff call the hotel to make sure it worked that way.I was told by the hotel that it would be an additional $6 per day for 4 days which is a great price for parking. I am not upset at the price only that it was misrepresented.

only 1 elevator was in service and had to wait about 10 minutes either way and so was crowded when we finally go it. NO complementary breakfast!! and only ONE cup of coffee in the room for me (1 for hubby). but- super comfy bed!!

Dear Guest, My apologies that our main elevators were having trouble during your stay. Our other 3 elevators were in service but it did make it a bit slow to rooms while the parts were on order. As our brand model is designed, our hotel offers made to order cuisine for all meal periods with meeting service and a lounge. Though we do understand that many guests prefer select service hotels with a limited breakfast option included in the rate, this is not offered by Wyndham Hotels brand. "Little Disappointed"
The stay was ok minus the fact that the ELEVATORS were down and no one had the courtesy to tell the guests. We waited on the 3rd floor for 20 minutes. We to walk down the stairs and got stuck in the stairwell. Tried to call and ask for room service (when they were open)... Kept getting a busy signal. Asked what time the lounge closed,and was told "I don't know??" Not the way a guest should be treated.

Everyone was friendly at the desk. The floor was quiet that I stayed on. The only complaint is my tv picture was very fuzzy. The bathroom has very good lighting. Shower had good water pressure.

They gave us the keys, went to our room and it was not cleaned. Back down to desk, assigned us another room. About 1 hour later, as I was getting ready to shower, a man walks into our room! They had given him a key and rented him the room. Totally unprofessional,

I was constantly called about not having documents that you should have sent regarding my reservation. I also was given a room that was not prepared for me; I had to call to have towels, coffee, cups, etc. brought to the room which I never got it the day of check-in. I call the next morning again asking for the same items and was apologize to my management about not getting them. I was call again the next day asking was I extending my stay and I again had to remind them that I reserved the room for two days and they could find any fax or documents indicating that I had reserve the room for two days; again no information was available as they indicated from Hotels.com. I pulled up my computer and show them my reservation. The bathtub was dirty and the paint was chipping from ceiling in bathroom over shower.

"Perfection!"
We got this room at a GREAT price, and we were very satisfied! It was just me and my three toddler girls, we got in at about midnight. They were tired, cold and cranky. The night security guard went above and beyond and noticed that they were cranky and we to the back and got them all glow sticks. They LOVE it and cheered up instantly. They ran in circles giggling and laughing and the staff members didn't even mind or chastis them for being children. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helped me with my reservation. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and cool. After getting kids situated, we all slept soundly and were able to sleep in till 10am!! Never happens with my girls so this was huge. Check out was a breeze. The only downfall was it was in an industrious area so the scene out the window kinda sucked but that's to be expected with a hotel right next to the airport so no worries. Oh, and there was no included breakfast so that was kinda a downer.

The night tables were dirty. The heater did not work. Call down stairs and was told main does not come in until 7. It was 5am when we called. Then when we checked out at 830 still no main guy. The shower head came out of the wall when I went to adjust the shower head.

"Old and outdated and over priced"
Needs to be updated ASAP! I understand I booked at a very high demand time, but nearly 400 dollars for a room straight from the 80's?? That's ridiculous ... No continental breakfast either? And couldn't check it until 3 even if you called ahead.. I would only recommend this place if it cost less than $80..

"Basic at Best - No amenities"
The room is a basic room with no in room amenities like microwave, refrigerator or even a tv programming guide for where to find each station. No morning breakfast either, but they do push the Starbucks in the lobby. I also requested to be near a group of rooms we had booked as a group and I was on a totally separate floor and near the front of the hotel while our group was in the back on another floor. One other bit of note to comment about, the desk clerk had a line in front of her and was picking up the phone and hanging it back up, so I hope you were not calling to reserve a room. Maybe you were and now you can stay someplace better.

As a full service hotel brand, we are required to follow brand standards, that do not include some of the amenities you noted. Though we realize that some guests prefer select service hotels that do not feature ala carte dining and events, but offer complimentary breakfast, we are not among the brands that features this offering. Please note that our wake up call system rings at the front desk when our guests do not pick up their wake up call. The desk is trained on the ringing sound of this feature and disconnects the call after noting the room number for follow up. We apologize that this may appear to be a service issue and are trying to change the option of our new phone system. We do hope there is an opportunity to gain your patronage for a future stay. "disappointed in Wyndham"
housekeeping was less than stellar, over the week my room was not vacuumed once. Remote control was asked to be fixed 3 different times. overall, probably would not stay here again.
