Good location and restaurant food was good too

Sometime during the night the heater stopped working and the room was very cold and damp when I woke up. When I mentioned it to the clerk when I checked out she apologized but said that she couldn't adjust my bill because I had prepaid!!! Never heard such a lame excuse.

I wanted to stay at an airport hotel because i planned on going both to the city (SF) & to other bay hot spots and figured the airport was centrally located. This hotel was clean and comfortable, the employees were courteous, and the location was great. Only problem was the trash truck would come around in the morning and was pretty loud. I would stay here again.

Clean, comfortable room. Alarm clock didn't work, no free wifi, and not many tv channels but you get what you pay for. Also liked that check-out was at noon not 11 like other places.

I didn't have great expectations for this hotel because of the price, but I was frankly very surprised at the comfort, cleanliness and safety it provided. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't a luxury hotel, but it had everything I needed, and more than I expected. I can easily recommend it to anyone.

I would say this Red Roof Inn is on the same level with a Motel 6. If you're on a quick overnighter or need to be close to the airport (SFO) for an early morning flight then this may be an ideal choice. Or, if you're traveling with your dog, this may be a super motel for you. There seemed to be a quite a few people staying there with their dogs. That's great! (I didn't hear any barking).

I love this place! Very clean, Warm pool, Restaurant on site is 24 hours, and they are nice about late check outs.

Yes bed bugs. Pretty awful experience. Have stayed here many times without any problems. Rooms were always clean and presentable. The locations is pretty good, there is a 24hr restaurant that is quite good, and the price is fair but in the last month I've had two disturbing incidents. On the first incident we discovered many hairs on the bed sheets clearly they were not changed and this last time the bed bugs. Found a dead one on one of the beds. Girlfriend complained of feeling crawling thingees and then actually found a live one on her boot. This was enough to stay clear of this place from now on.

Room was very clean and the Hotel has been remodeled within the last few yrs. Has elevator and FREE airport shuttle. $8.00 for in-room internet. Free internet in lobby & restaurant. On-site restaurant food is OK. Vending drinks are $1.75. To find the Mexican grill you go across the St behind the Double Tree at the Golf range. On the right side of the golf club bldg is the restaurant, There is no signage and you can't see it from the pkg lot. There is a Mexican flag hanging from the right corner of the bldg.

We only spent there a couple of nights and merely for business but the basic stuff in the room were very neat and comfortable.

I read other reviews prior to staying here and they were pretty much right on. Pros: location is great to and from airport, running and walking path along bayfront, restaraunts within some walking distance, restaraunt on site (diner style), updated rooms. Cons: plumbing is slow, elevator is shabby, free wi-fi is downstairs in the restaraunt otherwise you have to pay for it in your room. Overall I would stay here again for an "in an out" stay, nothing to be in my room for a long time. I'm a picky person and this room was clean. No coffee maker in the room though - so if you need coffee you will have to go downstairs to the main floor.

If you fly from SFO and don't want to spend too much money, this is the place. Clean and convinient.

For such low rates, it's not bad, rooms are clean, just a bit noisy (you could clearly hear everything going on outside the room), but overall pretty satisfied

Checking in and out was very quick. Service was great. Restaurant connected to lobby was convenient and good prices. Liked that there was free transportation to the BART station, but we ended up driving over since it was only 5 minutes away. We took the BART into the city instead of driving, it was a nice adventure for the kids. Didn't get to enjoy the pool or walk on the trail or watch planes landing (maybe next time)! Overall very good pricing and quality - would recommend to others and would stay there again.

I travelled to this area to take a national certification test early the next morning and this was a perfect low cost place to stay; quiet, comfortable and clean. Even the little restaurant met my needs. Excellent salad, service and price.

The hotel was clean and comfortable for the price. One of the elevators was not working. I would stay there again if I go back to the SF area.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Red Roof Inn San Francisco Airport. It's conveniently located right off the freeway and 5 minutes away from the airport. The 24 hour restaurant has good food and we were glad to get a decent meal after 10:00pm when we checked in. Parking was no problem. We were so delighted with our first night that we decided to book our last night stay there as well. The rooms were clean and comfortable and a great deal for the money. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to San Fran.

I always stay here when I fly into SFO. The rooms are clean they have a 24 hr restaurant and the staff is always nice.

Red Roof Inn is a perfect hotel, with a pool, movies in-demand, a nice 24 hour restaurant connected to it, and a great view of the Bay from many sides. It's also in a very convenient location for anybody having trouble finding lodging within downtown San Francisco, or any person who needs lodging near the airport, which is minutes away.

Clean room; only drawback was the airport noise. I would request a room poolside for future stays.

It was well worth the stay. The hotel was a little out of the way for where we were going but if staying at the airport and cant afford a 5 star hotel, this is the place to go.

Rooms aren't that impressive looking. There's no Kleenex. The towels are paper thin. No garbage can by desk. However, it was a decent rate for a one-night stay. There is a 24-hour restaurant on-site which is ideal since the immediate area does not have anything but hotels and office buildings.

tiny room, poor service, uncomfortable beds

The hotel was just a place to stay for one night. Two nights would be too many. It needed a refrigerator, coffee pot, and a microwave for the price. Wifi was in the 24 hour Chinese restaurant on site. If you have your own computer with you. Very inconvenient. Was impossible to go to a store without a car.

I liked it, but my boyfriend didn't. I thought the convenience of the parking right outside of your door was great. Also there is 24 hour dining at the restaurant downstairs (no room service though), and It was really cheap. On the other hand, the second night was a friday and there were at least 8 drunk hotel guests who decided to party on the staircase directly outside our door all night long. I can appreciate a good time, but they were throwing up and yelling at each other ALL NIGHT LONG. I heard one of them suggest that they go to their room more than once but those stairs must have been real comfy because soon after I heard them laughing at a couple of them who had fallen asleep right there. All in all I would stay there again, I would just bring earplugs with me.

NICE RESTAURANT. GREAT TRANSPORTATION TO AIRPORT. VERY FRIENDLAY STAFF.

Hi, We had trouble with our room not getting cleaned. We tried to give the staff plenty of time, but everyday when we returned we realized nothing had really been cleaned. When we brought this to their attention we just got the run around. The room was nice, the location great for us, but we really needed the room to be cleaned everyday.

This hotel was what I expected it to be...sufficient for the 6 hours I spent in the room before leaving for SFO. It was clean, near SFO, had free shuttle, a pool and a very good restaurant attached to the hotel. The sink was open in the room, bath/toilet was private. Upgrading the quality of the mattresses would increase the value based on the price paid.

Its convenient. The Bay front is only a block away so nice opportunity to do some walking and watch planes land.

Nothing fancy, but met the basics. The elevator was out of order on the end I was staying, so I had to take the scenic root. close to the airport, easy to get to, and a diner on site. As a stop for an early flight, it is a fine choice.

Best Red Roof I have ever stayed. It was one of the least expensive choices in the San Francisco area. A pleasant surprise for the money. Highly recommend.

Room was clean....elevator was out of order; coffee machine was out of order; ice machines on every floor, except first floor; were out of order. They must have had a mass printing of out of order signs. Room next to us had all night party on the porch. We had to call the office three times. Finally at 3:00 a.m., the party guys must have passed out. Will not ever stay there again.
