I was left waiting in the cold for forty minutes for a shuttle to show up. The Best Western Shuttle passed by three times and the other hotel shuttles at least twice. There was no wakeup call as requested nor my name on the morning shuttle list as I had requested. I barely made my flight but for be TSA on American Airlines. I wouldn't bet on getting to a morning flight and stay at this hotel. It wasn't a very convenient suite as the TV is half way between the bed and the couch in an adjoining room - wierd.

The hotel was under major construction/remodeling possible due to the age of the hotel. My and another rooms (possibly the entire hotel) could not return to rooms, keys needed to be reassigned possibly the whole system crashed/reboot. Customer talked nice, but the front counter manager did not want to talk nice customers and blamed customers cell phone magnetic was the cause. Everybody was stunted with his bad attitude. I will not return. Not recommend.

I was surprised to find the hotel was in the middle of renovations which were not reflected in Expedia advertisement. In spite of the renovations the hotel was clean and comfortable although access was not easy.

I showed up around 10pm and there was 1 staff member at the desk. No others available to assist. Had to wait on line to get change for the vending machines as the machines only accepted 1's & 5's. They were doing work in the hotel at this time as well. Noise level was above acceptable. Very small room, although it was acceptable as clean.

I stayed at least a week and could not ask for anything more, service outstanding, cleanliness excellent, hospitable staff, and incredible service all the while renovations were being undertaken. Never interfered with stay whatsoever. Totally recommend!!!

First night killed a roach on the wall Cobb webs hanging on wall. Nail clippings by and behind night stand Used the shampoo first night Was not replaced the next day. Cups and coffee were not replaced the second day. Bed linens were crisp and clean. If you just need a clean bed and clean bathroom price is right!

Everything was dirty and worn out. All of the furniture was chipped. The bedding looked dirty. Although they're under construction, the areas that weren't under construction looked as if they should be. Good if you're just in need of a place to stop for the night, but otherwise, wouldn't recommend having company or doing anything aside from sleeping there. The walls were also pretty easy to hear through.

Was not told about construction going on through entire hotel. Also no mention of what time shuttle leaves in the morning so we had to call a taxi so we wouldnt miss our flight. Very rude saying we should have looked it up. Well we did and couldnt find anything. The shuttle driver sets his own hours.

Seemed a bit dicey. Entrance was around back and the security latch on the door was ducktaped down. Parking was a bit too shady, and the entire place was quite dark (dimly lit). Overall too questionable for my liking but not a bad experience. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but wouldn't avoid it like the plague either. Not an Embassy Suites, but on the opposite, not a motel 6 either. would definitely explore other options, but for a budget place, it's not outside of what you'd expect.

I think the construction process will be giving this hotel a low rating for the moment and that during this time price rates should be lowered. I also notices that there was cards behind the sofa bed and thought that it should be addressed with the cleaning personal.

The hotel is horible. It's more like the YMCA. The carpet in the hallways is dirty and smells, the room had peeling paint.I checked out the same day and went to the Holiday Inn across the street.

The Hotel was undergoing renovation during our stay with several areas and hallways blocked off from the public. The room was nicely decorated, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was marginal, it was disorganized and held in a crowded conference room. The food was ok, but difficult to find seating.

The room was pretty clean and larger than I expected. The bed was comfortable. The concierge from the first night was very nice and went out of his way to arrange the hotel shuttle to take me to church in the morning less than 10 minutes away. The lady at the front desk the next day did not want the shuttle to take me to the airport when I checked out since I wasn't leaving on an airplane but was planning on taking a train. Had there been someone going anyways she would have allowed me to go, so can't complain too much. There was a decent spread for breakfast, you will not go hungry. Coffee and tea apparently available during the day. Room was warm enough and you can adjust the temperature. Fridge worked. Didn't even turn on the tv. The neighborhood did not seem dangerous at all and was a couple blocks from a bus stop that takes you to the Blue Line. All in all it was a good value for the money.

I got a great rate to the extent I was a little nervous, I mean it is Chicago right? I think it was just because they are under construction which did not impact my stay. What I want to shout out is about the incredible service I received. Patrick went above and beyond, providing better service than I have received at bigger brand (and bigger priced) hotels. He took extra steps he did not have to, to make sure I made it to an important interview and then to the airport after a very long and demanding day. It was an awesome value and I recommend.

This was an average hotel..they are remodeling and it really needs updating..the bed and bathroom were clean..but the carpets weren't very clean even found wrappers and somebody's glasses by the couch..breakfast was microwaved sausage and canned gravy.Frozen waffles..i hope since they are doing construction they update everything to 2014 because they sure need it.I have no idea how possible this hotel got so many stars..They also need to cleanup there front desk staff pretty shabby looking no eye contact and when we checked out not even thank you or how was your stay

Decent budget hotel for an overnight layover at Chicago O'Hare. Nothing fancy and breakfast was nothing to write home about, but we appreciated being able to grab a bite before our return trip to the airport. We also really appreciated the free shuttle and free wifi. Got a good night's sleep on the comfortable bed. Absolutely no complaints and the guy with the red baseball hat at the reception desk was more than friendly and accommodating.

While I did read the reviews that hotel was under construction I did not feel it effected my stay. The price was very reasonable and it was 2 miles from the destination we came for. Easy access to the highways and continental breakfast provided us something to eat before we left. Room was clean, as well as rest room and AC worked find.

I wish I would have known the hotel was under major renovations? The front desk stated it was listed on their website,somehow missed the fine print on hotels.com?She insisted it was on the other side of hotel and would find me a room on the other side. Work continued right below my window for several hours after checking in. The room was comfy.Nice seating area. I took a shower and used shampoo provided,too bad it was also used,opened and completely watered down.Soap cracked the minute I unwrapped it? Thank God there was a Walgreen's at the end of the block. Free shuttle to Metra station was a big plus.Not available on Monday morning with shuttle being used for O'Hare traffic? Breakfast bar was empty at 8:45 on Saturday. They had one server filling in,but the minute she put one thing down and would go to get another,it was empty again. Guess I would blame that on rude guests piling plates and cutting in line and not necessarily the server's fault??? Definitely ~read the fine print and confirm all details before you submit payment

The hotel was great, big clean comfortable room. Nice breakfast in the morning. The only complaint was it took longer than an hour to be picked up from the airport, despite a call every 15 minutes assuring me that the driver was at the airport and would be there in "5-10" minutes. All in all I would stay again.

5 people were traveling for a friend's wedding at a nearby hotel. We were able to secure a pretty good rate at this hotel. When we arrived, we discovered why: The hotel was undergoing massive renovations, including the front doors being closed, and having to enter through the (unwelcoming) back door. When I booked through Expedia, we noted that we had 5 people staying in the room, and were charged 'extra guest' fees accordingly. When our room only had enough towels for two people, and there were no linens for the sofa bed, we went to the front desk to ask for them, and apparently members of our party were questioned as to why we needed them. This continued when we asked for a couple more towels the next day, culminating in the hotel charging us ADDITIONAL extra guest fees, without even telling the member of our party who actually booked the room (me) upon checkout. I found out later, when I checked my credit card bill. Upon calling the hotel to straighten it out, management was combative until I had proven that I had already paid the appropriate extra guest fees through expedia. Then they finally apologized and reversed the charges. What they should have done was checked our reservation through expedia before charging the additional fees. Beds were pretty hard, bathroom a little dingy, showerheads placed too low, elevators extremely slow. This place definitely needs the renovations it's currently undergoing.

First there front of the building was a mess, they are renovating it. They need to renovate the rooms. The tile on the bathroom floor does not look like its been cleaned in a long time, the drawer to the coffee station in the room was broke and the only had decaf coffee. The customer service at check out was just BAD. All in all not good.

The motel was undergoing major reconstruction. The entire first floor was gutted. The pool was unavailable. We had to use the back door to get in and out of the motel. Otherwise, the room was comfortable, the fitness center was workable, And the breakfast was ample.

I stayed at this hotel for a one night stay. I picked it for its price and location. The front desk employee was very personable and followed up to make sure my room was acceptable. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was quiet which is important to me. The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast but it was good. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.
