needed a place for 1 night, hotel was easy to get to, lots of places to eat within walking distance. Room was clean & quietGenuine Expedia guest review
"Pretty much what you would expect"
It could have been cleaner. I found a couple of hairs on the bedsheets and that is always gross. It was only a 5 min drive to "downtown" shopping area so that was nice. It was very small but the bed was comfortable enough. The shower and toilet was separate from the sink and vanity area so that was nice. I would stay here again on a budgetGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Forget about the breakfast"
Room was fine. Continental breakfast was awful -- no drinks or water, many appliances didn't work. Staff couldn't care less about it. Go out to breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice place for the price"
Close to downtown. Great place if you want to save some cash and want to see the historic downtown.Genuine Expedia guest review
hotel is old and dirty. I was never able to get a decent connection to internet, and I had to go to the lobby to do that. Price was completely non sense compared to the service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"out of five hotels, this was the worst"
My mom and I took a road trip from California to Texas and we booked this hotel in Flagstaff so we could see the Grand Canyon. It was disgusting. If we hadn't madethe mistake of booking in advance, we would have left. We don't hold hotels to super high standards either. My pillows and sheets were covered in yellowish stains with clumps of hair stuck […] to them. The towels had brown stains on them like dried blood. The bed was hard as a rock, the pillows lumpy, the a.c./heater barely worked, was very loud and blew the window curtain out over one bed like a four foot cape. Breakfast at eight equaled cold mini muffins and no coffee. We stayed in a La Quinta and Sleep Inn for the same price range and they were palaces compared to this dump. We have both vowed NEVER to stay at an Econolodge again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect for the price"
it's best for taking a night to sleep and out of there the next morning. Beds are fine, bathrooms are ok. If you don't get a room near the main road, it should be nice and quiet for you. Again, 'perfect for the price' if it's under $55.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was one of the last available rooms in Flagstaff, therefore we were grateful for the shelter. Air quality - better outside; carpet vs. Sidewalk = sidewalk wins!! Heat vs. Cold; Econo Lodge Wins!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Only bad thing was we waited a little longer to go down to breakfast so it was a little depletedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"They call it Econolodge for a reason"
You get what you pay for. The staff is super friendly and very helpful - no issues there. The room condition overall isn't horrible, I've stayed at worse hotels than this one. It was okay. The AC/Heatpump was noisy as heck and I had to turn it off so I could get to sleep. It did work fine to heat the room. The bathroom was clean. Plenty of hot water. […] The bedding is alright, but the pillows are garbage. You're better off bringing your own. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Walking distance to most of the Ale Trail."
My friend and I are craft beer fanatics. Northern Arizona has a group of craft breweries, mostly in Flagstaff, and visiting all of them is called the Grand Canyon Ale Trail. This Econo Lodge is in walking distance, about a mile from most of the stops. There is also a Dunkin Donuts in the same parking lot, big plus! The room was comfortable and clean. […] The young lady who checked me in was great. The only negative was that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room, but like I said, who needs it with DD 100 feet away! Flagstaff is a beautiful town. One of my favorite places to visit. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Won't stay there again!"
The front desk clerk was so helpful and nice but the rooms were just bad. All the rooms with the refrigerators are on the second floor so my cooler as well as the other stuff had to be hauled up. Worse though, when I entered the room, the smell of air freshner was so strong I had a headache within 5 minutes. They switched rooms but when I started to […] clean up, I had no hot water. Claudia tried 2 other rooms but the fragrance was just as bad as the 1st room so I stayed in the one with no hot water. I had hot water for a shower the next day so I stayed the second night. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I won't stay there again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"It was ALL we expected for the price!"
This was a great deal for the night. We just needed a place for one night on a tight budget, and it fit the bill. If friends needed a cheap hotel that was adequate, I would recommend this place. The down side to only paying a minimal amount was the quality of the linens, the thin walls, and the heater that took 2 hours to get up to 70 degrees. Would […] we stay there again? Yes, but I would bring earplugs next time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Convenience for a decent price"
The hotel staff were just outstanding! Great courtesy and knowledge of the neighborhood. Were able to give me suggestions that really mattered to me and made my stay in Flagstaff very pleasurable. I'll stay here again when I'm in Flagstaff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel wasn't luxurious but it was a nice place to rest for the night. really good price tooGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent Hotel for the Price"
The reason we selected this hotel was due to the proximity to the hotel friends were staying at. For the price it was ok. The breakfast (as expected) wasn't terribly impressive. The amount of outside noise heard in the room was disruptive to sleep, especially in the early morning when others were already starting to head out. Our tub drain was completely […] backed up, so bad that even the next morning it wasn't empty. The bed was to be expected but the pillows were pretty terrible. There were only 3 on a king size bed and all were pretty shot. If you realize you get what you pay for then this isn't a bad hotel. But don't expect anything impressive. "Nice room for the price."
Hotel is fairly close to the rail road tracks - trains came through about every half hour. Beds were comfy. Plenty of hot water for shower. Decent microwave and refrigerator in room. Could have had a little better offering for continental breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Inexpensive but nice"
If you need a place to stay in Flagstaff while traveling and don't want to pay an arm & a leg, I recommend the Econolodge. It's right across the street from an outstanding Indian restaurant, The Himalayan Grill.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Ok, but I'm not staying there again."
The hotel was nice for the money, and the breakfast was an added bonus. However, I had an issue with the maid service. Our room was cleaned in the morning like all the rest of the rooms. In the afternoon, around 2:30 or so, my parents and daughter left to go shopping. About 1 minute after they left, 2 maids used their key without knocking, opened the […] door and started to walk in. When I came out from behind the vanity area, they quickly closed the door and didnt address me or ask if I needed service. 1.I find it hard to believe that they didn't know the room had already been cleaned. 2. If they were there to clean, they could have communicated that somehow instead of scurrying out. 3. I found the timing of it a bit sketchy as the others in my party had just driven away (there were only maybe 5 cars in the lot.) Maybe I shouldn't be so cynical, but I can't think of any legitemite reason for them to be coming in the room at that time. Therefore, I will not be staying there again. "1 Star accomodations at a 3 star price"
I know its family weekend and all but is it really necessary to rob people when they come into town? That couldnt be more than a $50 a night hotel room and to have to pay $175 for it was ludicrous.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Very friendly staff!"
The staff as extremely friendly and cordial. The rooms were fine, clean, could use some updating. The hotel was walking distance to downtown...little closer would be nice. The room was a bit overpriced (holiday weekend and event likely had rates inflated). Overall, I would recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location vs. Comfort"
We arrived late in the evening and the clerk was happy to see us and answered all of my questions. When I opened the door, I was hit with a very strong musty/dirty smell. That improved after leaving the door to our room open for about an hour.Genuine Expedia guest review
"you get what you pay for"
The room was cramped with a small fridge and microwave stacked on top of the table. There was just enough space to walk around the bed. the room had a dusty smell to it as if it had been a smoking room, but it was designated a non smoking room. There was water dripping underneath the sink and the carpet was moist. On the bright side, the most important […] things were clean, the linens and the bathroom. I did not expect much more for what I was paying. What bothered me the most was the smell but I was able to keep the window open. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Staff was friendly, hotel needs updated"
We were desperately seeking a place to sleep on a budget and I chose this hotel. I would spend the extra money next time. I still feel the price was inflated for the accommodations. There was even a bat that was hanging on the wall across from the door to our room. We referred to this as the bat cave hotel. We didn't mind the bat, however that may not […] be to your personal liking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
