"Great weekend spot for families."
Great hotel, very busy when we stayed but the service was prompt and helpful, and the amenities very nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed a few days and enjoyed our experience. The outside of the building is dated but the inside is the true asset. The lobby and dinning area is ornate with high ceilings. Plenty of room to sit and relax and people watch. The hotel seems to be very busy all of the time which makes it fun. The room was surprisingly large given this is an 80 year […] old hotel. Going out the back to the patio and courtyard is very pleasant. Loved the pool and hot tub. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

5/5 Stay at the Omni Shoreham, you won't be disappointed!Genuine Expedia guest review
Booked this hotel mainly because of my stay at the Omni in downtown Dallas. It was amazing. The Omni Shoreham was not as nice but still a good value. What I like best was it is next to the metro and you could easily get wherever needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel. Beds are very confortable. The shower water pressure is adequate. The food in the restaurant is above adverage. Overall amenities good. I will stay her again if given the opportunity.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel definitely need renovations"
Outdated. Doors has gap. Carpet is old. Time to renovate. Condition is no better than Motel 8. Move to Hyatt next day at 8am. Never even think of Omni can be in such a worn down conditionGenuine Expedia guest review

"Convenient and safe area"
Hotel had large, clean room, was quiet and helpful staff. Great shop for breakfast on the go and a very large lobby and sitting areas. Ordered room service and server took it upon himself to bring grandson milk and cookies when it was time to pickup dishes/service. What a lovely welcoming touch!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Well known hotel. But it's old."
Good: staff is nice. Dinner is good. Bad : Hotel is a little old and the location is a little far from the main tourist attractions.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Metro. Quiet."
We took our 18-year-old twins on their first visit to DC. I picked the Omni after reading a lot of reviews of other hotels. The main complaint of hotels closer to the mall, etc was that they were noisy. Our room was quiet and large enough for 4 people. If you don't mind taking the Metro it's so easy to get around. A couple of nights we walked up and […] went to restaurants close by. The Lebanese restaurant is good. The Italian restaurant was great. We ate at the hotel most mornings. $20ish ea for buffet. We ate dinner there one night and it was good. Not awesome or inventive. Just basic, good food. Nice, classic hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is very well taken care of despite its old age. The staff is very friendly and thoughtful, we even got complementary cheese and fruits platter from the sales dept. for no particular reason. I was particularly very pleased with the attention and service provided by the doormen at the entrance. they were all very helpful and thoughtful. I will […] definitely stay there again and recommend future DC travelers. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable hotel with classic charm"
Just stayed at the Omni April 4-6. My boyfriend and I booked this through Expedia's Unpublished Rate deal and it turned out to be a lovely pick. We arrived around 11:30am and expected to drop our bags with the bellhop before heading out to do some sightseeing. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready and we were able to actually check in. […] The lobby is huge and old world glam. Since they're celebrating their 75th anniversary there are banners with info about the various guests who have stayed over the years. The history of this place is really cool. The room is spacious and although not as modern as many of the new hotels, it was very clean and comfortable. I really liked that the bathroom had a window- that's uncommon in any new hotel but lets in natural light which is wonderful. The bed was firmer than I prefer but after walking around the city all weekend and having a perfectly quiet room, I slept better than I have in months! We didn't go to the restaurant on site but we ordered room service late one night which came much faster than expected. The hotel is about 2 blocks from th metro which was incredibly convenient. It only takes about 15 minutes to get to Metro Center and maybe another 10 to get to many attractions. Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel and would recommend it. "Omni Shoreham - DC"
Great experience, sign up for their member rewards and received free wi-fi as well as a complimentary beverage every morning. I enjoyed fresh brewed coffee with the daily newpaper delivered to my door.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fantastic fitness center"
Very nice hotel. Fantastic fitness center!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Grand but slightly tired hotel"
I picked this hotel because of a local event, but I typically wouldnt stay in a hotel like this. It is "grand" (slightly opulent) looking but also slightly tired looking. I personally prefer a more modern touch to the decor. I upgraded to a small suite (dont remember the room type) and did not think the room was a good layout. The bedroom was divided […] from the living area by a small drywall right in the middle of the room. The main restaurant was nice and they were accommodating of my vegan diet regardless of the limited options on the menu. There was a Starbucks in the hotel which was nice for addicts :-) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Amazing & Plush"
This was a splurge for my boyfriend and I, and we didn't take part in the room service/bar/restaurant that is in the hotel. The Shoreham is a historical, BEAUTIFUL hotel within a hop & skip of the Metro and many restaurants. Situated in a more residential portion of DC, it felt like you were getting out of tourist-ville when you were at the Shoreham. […] I loved every aspect of the Shoreham, and everything was pristine! I'm what they would call a princess. I want rooms clean and elegant. I loved the Omni Shoreham. Beautiful rooms. Spacious. Heavenly bed. Lots of toiletries in the bathroom. Very clean. Wonderful towels. Great service. We rented bikes from the fitness center and biked down to the monuments. Then took a trail back that leads right to the hotel. We paid […] $149 plus tax for the night. Amazing value! Husband loved the steam room and fitness center. Really cute neighborhood. Not near the monuments but I liked that because we got more of a flavor of DC. Will definitely go back when in DC. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We had arrived to the hotel around 10 pm and 4 hours of travel. The location of the hotel in relation to the metro stop was such a conveneince. The hotel was very pretty and lots of character. Good restaurants in walking distance. Only complaint were the pillows. Way too flat but should have known better anyway. Good experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice restaurants surrounded"
nice, very big hotel, difficult to find thingsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was great, except for the Concierge who resisted giving us clear walking directions to an address about 30 minutes away because he thought that was too far to walk. I really don't want to have to get into a discussion with a concierge about this.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Traditional style luxury hotel w easy Metro access"
A romantic and luxurious weekend in a traditional hotel. Great base for exploring and convenient to Metro, but removed from noise of downtown DC, with expansive views over the city.Genuine Expedia guest review
Charged for wifi when it was not oroperly indicated when logging in. A little cheap for a four star hotel. The rest was perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Omni Shoreham hotel is what I would deem "classic luxury." The room has an abundance of space and the wifi is complimentary when you sign up for their rewards program (also free to sign up). I found it interesting that the bathroom is sort of positioned in an interesting side-room, but it was perfectly fine (different but fine). The bed was comfortable, […] the wifi was fast, the TV worked well. I also always appreciate when hotels offer mouth wash with their amenities and the Omni Shoreham does! If you're looking for modern luxury, this may not be your place. However, if you're looking for classic luxury with no frills, this is your place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and perfect for business"
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room is quite large and well equipped for the business traveler -- outlets on the side of the desk and nightstand!! No more crawling under desks or pulling the bed from the wall to find a free outlet to charge phone or computer. Location is great: 1 block from the Metro, right at the park for enjoying […] outdoors, great restaurants and bars. A little of everything you might need. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overall ok hotel."
Hotel is far from downtown. It is a much older hotel that they updated. It shows it's age and I don't think it was worth the price. There are more modern and conveniently located hotels in downtown for the same price.Genuine Expedia guest review
My room had a left behind dirty washcloth on the floor and the next day none of the bathroom items, coffee, etc., were restocked. It appeared that only the bed was made and towels taken (including the one I wanted left behind, the floor mat). All of this made me question cleanlinees of the room overall. Also, the hotel has new wing that is really far […] away and kind of hard to get to, which is where my room was located. On the positive side, the hotel lobby is gorgeous and the restaurant has excellent food. Hotel is easy walk to Metro, but an expensive cab ride to the Hill. It is in great neighborhood full of wonderful restaurants that are far less expensive than the hotel's. WiFi access in room is pretty expensive, but at least it was free in the lobby. "great room, ambiance BUT a rip-off for a conferenc"
Hotel was beautiful as were the rooms, very clean, staff was very nice. My biggest concern was there was almost nothing provided for conference attendees. It was difficult to get a cup of coffee before the conferences, and any time after approximately 9:30 a.m., and no afternoon snack or anything was provided. Conference attendees had minimal time between […] activities to venture out to get anything, so were stuck paying for such items at the hugely overpriced but minimally stocked store there. Also, beware of the 'conference rate' for rooms- it was much cheaper to just go through hotels.com. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Conference Location"
I stayed at this hotel for a week for a conference and really enjoyed the spacious room, having a bathtub and shower and ample room for storage. My conference was at the nearby Marriott and am very happy with my choice. You can easily walk to MANY restaurants, there is a CVS close by as well. You have less than a block walk to the metro as well.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great price for the atmosphere!"
My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The bathroom is a bit outdated, I was expecting a nicer bathtub to relax in, so that was a disappointment. We lovedthe hotel and the hotel bar great service! My only complaint is that wehad a king size bed that wad very cozy however it only had three pillows on the bed . Needs more pillows! We we found one small pillow in the closet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had loud post wedding neighbors keep us up from 1-4am. It took multiple calls to the front desk to get security to come. Other than that stay was OK. Hotel was clean but minorly worn down. The metro stop closest to the hotel was closed for repairs which made getting around a bit more of a problem than usual.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I loved my stay. The staff was so helpful to meGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent stay. Lots of space in the rooms. Bathroom cozy and warm. The room was clean and comfy. Closet space was a plus. The restaurant staff was attentive and the food was delicious. The hotel is beautiful and huge. Lots to see and do. The front desk was friendly and efficient. I hope to stay here every time I visit DC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
