"Great Location, nice hotel"
It was clean/right near the center of Boston!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place. Sunday brunch excellent but expensive at $24.00. The hotel is old world gorgeous, with lots of ornate dark wood and marble. Centrally located, walk anywhere. Do not pay for valet parking; pi alley parking garage is only a few steps away and you can park and lock your car.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Boston Freedom Trail, Etc."
Great location!. Hotel location puts you right in the heart of everything. Small room (NY style). Comfortable beds. Concierge desk, although very courteous, was lacking in the ability to complete certain tasks... was told dinner reservations were made only to find out the restaurant didn't have anything in their system and never received a call from […] the hotel. It's a possibility, however, that the restaurant dropped the ball. Overall, a very nice stay. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to all must-see sights; historic hotel"
It was a beautiful experience as the hotel is impeccably preserved and retains the class and charm of an historic hotel. I'd go back in a heartbeat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Walking distance to everything a delightful hotel"
We loved every minute of our stay at the Omni Parker House - loved the fact there were so many Red Sox fans staying there too. We will return to this hotel on our next visit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Do not stay anywhere else in Boston"
If you are in Boston to see the sights, I cannot recommend this hotel more strongly. Literally ON the Freedom Trail, it was minutes from pretty much everything we wanted to see in the city. We stayed for a long weekend, and were able to do everything we wanted to and more with the Omni Parker House as our base of operations. The location of this hotel […] is unparalleled, with so much (e.g. the first restaurant in America; Boston Common; the Park Street Subway stop; etc.) within a few minutes' walk, and the rest of the city at your fingertips through the easy and clean public transit in Boston. The amenities at the hotel were pretty standard (we were not spending too much time in our room), and because it is a historic building the rooms are perhaps a little small, but it was incredibly worth it. The staff was great (held our bags before our room was ready, and after we checked out before we departed the city) and the atmosphere was historic and refined. I would definitely stay again in a heartbeat. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great service and wonderful location!"
Our stay was nice but our check in was delayed until dinner time! Also, we were charged extra for a roll away bed on top of not being able to get into our room until after 5 PM. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a great place to stay, Close to Boston Commons and the T. Good service in the hotel and restaurant. Lovely dinner in the restaurant. The complaints about the rooms must be from unseasoned travelers. This is an old hotel in a major city, Rooms are small and the city is noisy. The view is usually not good , an adjacent building. This is all typical […] of a hotel in a major city, The walls are thin and some of our neighbors were loud and inconsiderate. The common areas are beautiful. I would definitely recommend. "Beautiful but Lack of Privacy/Expensive"
Staying at this beautifully preserved and incredibly staffed hotel was just an amazing experience. The location is right in the heart of things with the waterfront, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall and Beacon St. all easily within walking distance. The down side was the fact that the side of the hotel was about 15' from an apartment building who's windows […] face into your room. For any privacy at all, we had to keep the blinds almost completely drawn. At $239 per night for a single bed room with a VERY tiny bathroom, we felt that it was rather excessive. Since the hotel is also very close to may casual and fast food restaurants, I would recommend eating there as a "nothing special" breakfast for 4 cost us $118 with the tip and a bottle of water from the mini bar was $7. "Great historic hotel"
The Boston Onmi Parker House is a beautifully renovated and maintained hotel with tons of history...and a few ghosts!! The staff was friendly and super helpful, the room was clean, the price was decent, and the neighborhood was walking distance and central to all the city has to offer; only con was the room size was tight to move around with a family […] of four and for luggage storage. I would definitely stay here again and recommend! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A fine experience in a lovely historic hotel"
We very much enjoyed the night we spend at the Boston Omni Parker House Hotel. We were a group of six, and we fit into an executive room, making use of the two beds, the couch and an extra bed roll. Tricky to fit six in one room, but we were able to there! The only thing that was unfortunate, is that I believe the room is generally a smoking room. I […] didn't check on that ahead of time, and we are a group of non-smokers. Other than that, it was great. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Tired and overrated"
Indifferent service, very small rooms in an aging property. I would not stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small rooms. Lackluster service."
The rooms were extremely small especially the bathrooms. The doorman let the door hit me in the butt as I was struggling to get two little children in. Had to repeatedly ask for things that were included in the package and then they were very slow to deliver them. "Very Convenient Location"
The rooms are small. It's an old hotel and that was expected. It's located on the freedom trail so walking to destinations was very convenient. Loved this hotel! We had a great visit of the city and could walk or take the T everywhere.comfy beds a huge plus!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location - Room TOO small!!!"
Although we thoroughly enjoyed the location of the hotel, the room was VERY inconvenient. One person could barely fit into the bathroom, and the small room had very little space to put anything. There was NO refrig., few drawers for clothing and VERY poor lighting. Don't expect to read at night!!! Lastly, we looked out at a stone wall... with a window... […] not 8 feet away!!! Very depressing. The positive side was the cleanliness and convenience of the hotel, and because there was no parking, we were required to pay $40 a night to valet park!!! WiFi also required a fee!!! Aside from the incredible location, you are right by the start of the freedom trail and as soon as you exit the Hotel you are actually on the Freedom Trail, the Hotel's staff is amazing! I went to an event in the North End. So, I only stayed one night. The room was very nice. It was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Check out was simple, convenient, and quick. I didn't really use any of the hotel amenities. But, I would not hesitate to stay at the Omni Parker again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Very nice staff! Professional, courteous and kind.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were a little tight which is the norm in Boston and not a problem for us. Tub needed glazing but otherwise room was great. Lobby was beautiful and of course service was excellent as usual for Omni hotels. I would not suggest buffet for breakfast though. Pancakes were cold. Location was perfect for walking. Used the hop on hop off bus to reach […] farther areas of Boston like the north end which is mainly Italian. A must visit. Great food and bakeries everywhere! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel walking distance to most everything."
wonderful experience, when we entered our room there were cookies and milk for my girls. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The only negative thing was the level of noise from the street, I don't know if it was because we were on the 4th floor and closer to street but it did wake me up at 1:30am. The beds were comfortable! Had a late dinner […] in the bar which was delicious and so was the breakfast. It was a wonderful experience and will stay there again. "Charming Old Boston, Wonderful Service"
Parker House is Boston at its best! Charming and elegant, with all the modern amenities. Right in the heart of the city and steps from the Freedom Trail. Near many fabulous restaurants. Worth every penny!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cozy room. Noisy Elevators"
My standard king room was small, but comfortably appointed. Bathroom ventilation did not work. Even though the room was not directly adjacent to the elevator shafts, but across the hall from them, we still heard the dinging of the bell and the rumble of the cables. Temperature in the room was hard to control. I booked here only because of its close […] location to where I needed to be. The lobby is beautiful and there's a lot of history here. Unless you're looking to spend most of your time in the room, this is a good hotel in a great location. All the staff was very friendly. Porters and valets were plentiful. "Perfect, central location, lovely hotel, tiny room"
The Parker House is a lovely old hotel that has been very nicely updated and maintained. It is located just steps from Boston Common and a subway stop - perfect location for seeing the sites of Boston. Lots of shopping and dining within a block or two. Fantastic Walgreen's just down the block as well for any convenience items, snacks, etc. The queen […] bed room we had was VERY small, but extremely clean and well appointed. All staff were friendly and helpful. Beware, some of the lower floor rooms have a view of very ugly HVAC vents taking up almost the entire window width and height (we were on the third floor). Although the room has been recently redone, they seemed to have skipped the bathtub. The rest of the room and bathroom were fresh, clean and new. The tub however had been spray coated at some point in a previous overhaul. But was chipped and worn - very ugly (I thought it epwas filthy until I looked closer) and out of sync with the remainder of the accomendation. Join their loyalty program for free and receive FREE WiFi I. Room and up to two complementary drinks in the morning - very nice benefit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, convenient for walking or transit. Hotel definitely has an older feel and not spacious but that's what should be expected from a historic property located in the heart of the city. Overall good except we had a fire drill in the early morning that cleared all floors. Convenience is great but comfort was not.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Choice in Downtown Boston"
We stayed at the Omni for the Boston Calling Concert. It is within stumbling distance of the show and Quincy Market. The staff were extremely helpful. Room price and amenities were expensivebut what you might expect from this type of downtown high end hotel. Our view was awful on the 3rd floor and rooms windows are facing each other. Couldn't open […] the window as their was some kind of venting right there and it didn't smell too good. We had a deluxe room which was overkill for the 1 night stay but it was the only thing available in Boston when we booked. It was very nice with a couch and big comfy bed. I've stayed at this Hotel in the past and the Presidential Suites are much nicer but are pricier. Worth it for a longer stay but not one night. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, nice hotel"
The location can't be beat and everything in the city is either walkable or easily reachable from the T station 2 minutes from the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. 3 people felt a little cramped, mostly because there wasn't much surface space in the room. Overall, a great stay and we would come again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
