The Hotel is close to everything we wanted to see, and within walking distance. Shopping and historical sightseeing as well as Boston Commons are easily accessible. Really old time feel to this fabulous hotel. You feel like you're in a different era. The lobby, bar, restaurant all have a genuine warmth to them. We stayed at the Omni Parker for 4 nights recently and had a wonderful time. This is one of the few hotels in Boston that is happy and able to provide reasonable accommodations for a family of 6. The room was very small and cramped, and had a terrible view (even though I requested a good view when they asked for my preference - why ask if you can't deliver?).
