"Location is everything"
While the location of the hotel was wonderful and within walking distance to many historical sights and restaurants, there was much to be desired. The view out our deluxe king room (1211) was a brick wall. Very disappointing. Room and bathroom very small and no counter top for toiletries but there was a shelf. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping staff […] did minimal work in daily cleaning and resupplying. The walls are thin and you can hear everything in adjacent rooms and hall noise. The A/C unit is operated from wall thermostat but fan could not be set to run continuously so it automatically shut on and off all night long and I woke up every time it. Quite loud. Room itself was a little shabby. The hotel is old and the lobby area is grand with beautiful wood and brass but is very dark and somewhat creepy. Furniture is worn. Once a grand hotel, the old lady is in need of a facelift. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This was my first time in Boston, and I already can't wait to come back! From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, we were greeted with the most incredible staff, so friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean, the bathroom was way smaller than I expected though- prob the only downside. The location wS fabulous, the staff was very friendly […] and helpful with finding our way around! I wish I did more research before coming because we had no idea how historical the hotel is! "My stay @ omni Parker Boston"
It is great overall except the room was a little too congested for a family compared to my other similar stays. The enviroment was great and food awesome. Overall 4.5/5Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I have stayed in bigger closests...the room,decor and T.V were from"that 70's show"....I know it's an old historical building,but Jesus...a dump.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Happy we stayed here!!"
A three day visit to Boston before boarding our cruise ship. The Omni Parker House is an absolutely beautiful property. The history of this hotel is incredible!! Location was perfect!!! Sits right on the Freedom Trail & close to a Trolley stop & not far from the cruise terminal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent location and beautiful hotel! The airconditioning was too loud and forceful. Kept us awake at night and hard to regulate temperature.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Beds were very comfortable- bathroom very small. But it was a pleasant stay for a nite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I did not like our room! We could hear the people next to us like they were in the same room. Paper thin walls. Would not recommend-Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Steppig back in time"
The décor was beautiful like an old turn of the century house but with all the updates. The rooms were generous size and the beds were like little pillows of softness. We especially liked the lounge. Great extra wide seats at the bar cozy nooks and crannies to sit and have conversation. Great menu I had a Waldorf salad that was complete with a poached […] apple! Drinks were generous as well. We Bartender could of used another waitress as we had a little wait time for second drinks but otherwise wonderful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great historic hotel"
Great central location in Boston - would highly recommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Historic hotel but very elegant and clean. Very well maintained rooms very clean and comfortable. Location is perfect right on freedom trail center of the city even walking distance to North End. Would definitely stay there again when visiting BostonGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Historic yes. Old and needing maintenance yes. My room was so small I could barely walk around the twin bed. I would run into the tv that hung on the wall while dogging the wall paper that was coming off the wall. Made a reservation on the way to Boston and was still able to get a room for the night at a reasonable rate even though there were several events going on at the hotel. The bathroom was a little small but clean and absolutely fine for a one-night stay. The location was great for getting all around downtown. We were able to walk to TD Banknorth for a […] game, out for shopping and to a few bars/clubs each within about 15 minutes from the hotel. "Great location; accommodating staff"
Beautiful hotel and staff was very accommodating. Upon arrival to celebrate our 25th anniversary, discovered our room was extremely small and facing a brick wall. Once we addressed with the staff however, they were extremely accommodating and switched us to a bigger room with much nicer view at no additional cost. Still feel a little overpriced for […] size of room but would return for both accommodating staff and location. Great location...short walk to TD Garden and plenty of good places to eat within walking distance as well. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Really rude service"
In general the stay was alright. The bathroom was downright small and the paint was chipped in the bathtub. Not a big deal, but for the price I was shocked to see something like that. The hotel is pretty, but dark and the wood is in need of repair. The reason my rating is so low is because the staff were just downright rude. The bellhops were lovely, […] but the room service staff stood at the door waiting for us to leave so they could clean the room (and the bathroom was still dirty when we came back), and the breakfast staff were horrific. Not a single smile, plates crashing onto the tables and it took us ten minutes to flag someone down to get our check. Waiters were calling to each other across the room and just completely ignoring everyone. Also, skip the breakfast. It was incredibly expensive, portions were ridiculously large, and it was no better than what you could get at Denny's, to be frank. I've never felt the urge to review a hotel badly before, but I would not return. If you're paying as much as this hotel charges, I would expect cheerful service and a clean, up to date room. This had neither. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Perfect place to stay if you want to walk everywhere...with the Train station less than a block away and taxis hailed for you easily if you need to go a bit farther....very historical location, but my room was showing a few signs of wear and tear, particularly with the carpet. Also, my window view was a brick wall of the adjacent building, with the […] window of what was apparently the a men's restroom....very apparent when visitors did their business...;) I chose to keep my drapes closed after a few hours of that...Lounge is classic and food in restaurant was stellar. Traditional room very small and uncomfortable as bathroom cramped into a corner. A/C system not at peak performance. Wait staff in lounge not very pleasant. Great location within walking distance to most local attractions. Many good restaurants and bars within a few blocks. "Old school, racist hotel and bad customer service"
Old hotel, you can hear everything so it was hard to sleep. Housekeeping people are very loud early in the morning so you can't sleep. Staff is racist, you can tell when they can't look you in the eye and can hardly smile when you're trying to talk to them.. Front desk, bell guy, Even the valet. They all loved my bf though, cause he had blonde hair […] and blue eyes. Funny thing is they keep acknowledging him, but I book and paid for the room. Never will I stay at this hotel again. "Shockingly Bad Room"
I chose this hotel for its great location, but the prices were extremely high, so I elected an "economy room" at a rate similar to what I pay for the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando. (So not exactly an economy rate by my standards.) It was described as having a single bed, but no other "economy" features were mentioned or expected. I expected smaller but […] elegant. The room was so small I literally could not wheel my suitcase past the foot of the bed without hitting my head on the TV. I had to lift the suitcase over the bed to the only space in the room where I could open it other than ON the bed. There was a bed, a nightstand, a dining chair and a corner shelf big enough to hold a mini coffee maker. The bathroom had a pedestal sink, toilet and a small shower. In addition to being small, it was dingy and dirty. Tons of wallpaper was peeling off, ripped, cut and torn. The floors were dirty, the shower grout was black from dirt and mildew. The window looked at a brick wall. Throw on top of that the $15 for wifi and no airport shuttle, and I will never go back. Terrible accommodations for a hotel of this stature. "Night in Boston"
Hotel's location is right where we wanted to be. Driving in Boston sucks so we chose to pay for valet parking. The Valets were excellent. Staying in Boston costs an arm and a leg. This is a lovely old hotel so the rooms are smaller than you might be used to staying but the bathroom was up to date and the bed excellent. I'd stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location for a tourist visit."
A wonderful hotel, located perfectly for a tourist visit. The concierge was extremely friendly and helpful in recommending tours, places to eat, and in giving directions. "Very nice hotel, centrally located in downtown."
It was my first visit to Boston and found the city very friendly. We saw many of the attractions in the 3 days we were there. Most everything was in walking distance from the hotel. We had purchased a GoBoston card which was a good investment for us. We took advantage of the trolley ride which gave us an overview of the entire area, the Boston Duck […] Tour boat was a highlight. We also took a harbor boat ride, went through the Aquarium. We also made use of the transportation lines taking us to the Museum of Science. We enjoyed walking to Fanuell Hall and Quincy Market. We ran out of time, but wanted to do the guided Walking Historic Tour however, we did follow the red brick line which marks the historic trail. The last evening was topped off with a piece of the delicious Boston Cream Pie from the Omni Parker House and we ordered a couple of Parker House rolls which melted in our mouths. We had a memorable time in a lovely city. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Expensive, but so is everywhere else in Boston"
Location, location, location! The Omni Parker House Hotel is within a block from a great strip of bars, Boston Common (mini Central Park), great restaurants, and two subway stops that have access to every line on the T (the subway) that I wanted to use. They nickel and dime you, but I'd imagine most places do in Boston. They charge for wifi, but there's […] at least three Starbucks within a block. parking is rediculous (40 bucks a day), but there's a parking garage that gives discount to hotel guests a block away. The rooms are really small because it's an old historical building, but how much time should you be spending in the room? Not much. Overall, excellent experience! "Like an off the strip Las Vegas hotel"
It was fantastic being so close to so much history! However, when we checked in there was an extra $100 deposit for incidentals, so my husband gave them a $100 bill. The reception person began to look at us like we were trash and called somebody and told them to remove the cash bar, I believe she called it. She rolled her eyes while on the phone talking […] to the person and then we had to sit in the lobby and wait to go to our room. All of this poor treatment because my husband unknowingly gave her cash. My young sons even picked up on it and the hotel I thought they were going to enjoy the most on the trip became the one they say they never want to go back. Too bad, Omni! We are not trash (and nobody should ever be treated as such) but very much travelers in love with Boston and you not only lost us as customers, but our sons as well. "Usually excellent, but internet service was bad"
Have stayed here before and it was always excellent, however this time the basic wireless internet service was very bad. Pages would lock up for a minute or more, or I would get a message that my web browser could not even load the page. I have notified the hotel of this problem and hopefully they will fix it quickly. This was especially unacceptable […] because they charge for internet service, although after I complained they removed the charge from my bill. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We had a very nice stay for 4 nights. The lobby is gorgeous, the room service seems extensive even though we didn't use it, the room was comfortable and very clean. "Decent location. but horrible value for the money"
We stayed at the Omni Parker hotel for two nights during Labor Day weekend. The hotel has a decent location, but that's about all I can recommend it for, especially for the money. They charge $10/night for Wi-Fi, another $40/day for valet parking and you have to hit the local Starbucks for breakfast because a bagel and cup of coffee ran you $15 at the […] hotel. The bathroom in our room had peeling wallpaper and a door that was slightly warped and wouldn't shut. The room itself was okayish, if you could overlook the stain on the carpet. The tiny fridge was full of stuff they wanted you to buy, to the point you couldn't put anything in it. The beds were comfortable though, the a/c worked and the staff was very friendly. I wouldn't stay there again if I had another decent choice, but if push came to shove and the alternative was worse, I could handle another stay there. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
