This was a special birthday celebration for my wife. Dinner in the main dining was spectacular; service, ambience and quality of food. I would have frankly spent more for such a fine dining experience. Brunch was subpar especially for the money. The room (507) was extermely small; no place for luggage, clothes. Bed however very comfortable. View was […] terrible over a roof in disrepair. Had to wait way to long for elevator - 15 minutes. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I have a "thing" for historic hotels and was delighted to be able to share this experience with my grandchildren. Being on the freedom trail was a real bonus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good central location. We were able to easily walk or take the t anywhere in the city. Rooms are small but comfortable. Staff was excellent especially the concegiere Very knowledgable and accomadating. Loved the place !Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Since this is the longest continously run hotel in America, they know what they are doing! Many famous people have stayed here including Charles Dickens! Great history, location and excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. Excellent doormen, always willing to help. Hotel rooms clean and tidy. Not a noisy part of Boston. Great dining room with Parker […] House rolls and Boston Cream Pie and interesting historical items pertaining to the hotels history on the lower level of the hotel. Exercise room very nice. Starbucks is less than half a block away and hotel is very close to Franeuil Hall. Also across the street is Paul Revere's Grave and interesting churches/graveyards close by and Boston Common. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially anyone who loves the ambiance and luxury of The Drake Hotel in Chicago or is a history buff. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! This hotel really needs to improve the rooms. They are small as you would expect for a hotel this old. However, the bathroom badly needs updating and wasn't very clean. I would not stay there again for the price they charge.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfectly Located, Wonderful Hotel"
We had never been to Boston before so we booked a long weekend (5 days, 4 nights) to explore the city. We LOVED the Omni Parker House Hotel. You cannot beat the location, it is RIGHT on the freedrom trail and central to so many must see destinations in Boston. It is a 5 minute walk to 3 different T stops so you can get anywhere in the city easily. The […] hotel was wonderful. It is an old hotel which is common of most hotels in Boston so the rooms are small compared to many newer hotels but that didn't bother us at all. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful even when we checked in at midnight and also when we had an incorrect restauarant charge on our bill. They took care of everything and were so friendly and pleasant to deal with! I would highly recommend the Boston Omni Parker House Hotel to anyone! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Luxury price, small cramped room!"
Intense disappointment. We reserved 2 deluxe rooms, advertised price $309 for 1 bed, $329 with 2 beds. Unstated taxes brought total cost to $353 and $376, so we expected luxury. Both rooms were small; the room with 2 king-sized beds actually CROWDED. Bathrooms were so tiny that the square shower had to be cut down to triangular shape to allow for the […] toilet to fit in. Miniscule closet would hold only 4 hangers, so clothes could not be unpacked. The view from our 3rd floor windows was worse than Bartleby's view of a brick wall. Our windows looked at parked cars in a parking garage. Rooms were far away from elevator, down a motel-like hall. Our guests were given key cards that did not work; they had to return to hotel desk to get working key cards. Beds were comfortable; décor was nice, but these were NOT deluxe rooms. We were embarrassed because we had told our guests that they would be staying in an OMNI hotel. My husband plans to request a refund. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Outstanding customer service - Omni Parker House has a treasure in Seamus Murphy! Our double room was smaller than expected but luxurious and had a great view of King's Chapel. The sense of history is palpable and for this history teacher that was really thrilling.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to everything!"
Hotel staff were friendly and gracious! The hotel is conveniently located and is only a short walk from the city centre and tourist attractions. Close enough to walk to Fenway Park (30-45 minutes), Boston Commons, as well as China Town and the Theatre district. A little pricey for parking, but the convenience of it makes it worth it. Amenities close […] by make for easy alternative to the hotel dining room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely older hotel"
The hotel is central to everything, an easy walk or quick taxi ride to theater district or harbor. Bed was fantastically comfortable, but the room was a handicapped accessible room, which I didn't need, and the bathroom had no place to set anything, and was not well laid out. Didn't go to the hotel bars, but they were very attractive and old-school […] charm. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great vacation city"
Being the oldest hotel in the city we didn't expect modern luxuries. That is of course the charm of this beautiful hotel! The rooms are small but very clean and there wasn't much time in the room with all there is to do in Boston! The location was excellent for all the tourist attractions giving us a very walkable tour of the city!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy walking distance to all."
The hotel was very convenient and the staff helpful, especially the concierge. The room felt small, especially the bathroom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We just completed our stay. It is important to remember it is an old hotel. It is well maintained and has the grandeur of hotels of old. Keep in mind that the rooms are small and the bathrooms are very small. But we stayed there because of the history. And we would definitely go back. Our first night was miserable, there was a bachelor party going on […] next door. We got very little sleep even with two calls to security. The next day we spoke to the manager who was quite understanding, but refused our request to move our neighbors. I guess I can understand why, they were part of the wedding party. So I said, then can you move us? Not what my husband wanted, but I was there to enjoy Boston, so I just wanted in resolved. The manager, jumped into action and they moved us to another floor and a comparably nice room. Several of the staff checked on us to see if all was well. I appreciated the customer service. In fact everyone that worked there was extremely courteous and friendly. Our final two nights were very restful. The beds are comfortable, love the big thick towels. It is close to many of the best sites, and about 3 minutes away from a Walgreens that also has carry out food and Frozen yogurt . Great for snacks or light lunch. "Walking distance from just about everything."
Very much enjoyed my stay at the legendary Boston Omni Parker House Hotel. I would very highly recommend it to all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean and a great location. Within a few minutes walk to the harbour and all of the attractions. Paid high for a room that was about the size of a large walk-in closet. In order to use the internet without being charged 10 bucks, you have to fill in all of your information. It took about 10 minutes and then was billed the ten anyway. They then reversed […] the charge but by that time it had become an annoying process. Parking at the hotel would have been an additional $40. Parked in a garage nearby for $18. but had to haul everything a couple of blocks. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great place. Sunday brunch excellent but expensive at $24.00. The hotel is old world gorgeous, with lots of ornate dark wood and marble. Centrally located, walk anywhere. Do not pay for valet parking; pi alley parking garage is only a few steps away and you can park and lock your car.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Boston Freedom Trail, Etc."
Great location!. Hotel location puts you right in the heart of everything. Small room (NY style). Comfortable beds. Concierge desk, although very courteous, was lacking in the ability to complete certain tasks... was told dinner reservations were made only to find out the restaurant didn't have anything in their system and never received a call from […] the hotel. It's a possibility, however, that the restaurant dropped the ball. Overall, a very nice stay. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel in the heart of Boston"
Boston is a great city to see by walking, and staying at the historic Parker House adds immeasurably to the experience. The city is relatively compact, and this hotel is in the heart of everything. It is also close to the T, the excellent subway system.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Do not stay anywhere else in Boston"
If you are in Boston to see the sights, I cannot recommend this hotel more strongly. Literally ON the Freedom Trail, it was minutes from pretty much everything we wanted to see in the city. We stayed for a long weekend, and were able to do everything we wanted to and more with the Omni Parker House as our base of operations. The location of this hotel […] is unparalleled, with so much (e.g. the first restaurant in America; Boston Common; the Park Street Subway stop; etc.) within a few minutes' walk, and the rest of the city at your fingertips through the easy and clean public transit in Boston. The amenities at the hotel were pretty standard (we were not spending too much time in our room), and because it is a historic building the rooms are perhaps a little small, but it was incredibly worth it. The staff was great (held our bags before our room was ready, and after we checked out before we departed the city) and the atmosphere was historic and refined. I would definitely stay again in a heartbeat. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Still a great hotel in a great locationq"
I stayed here almost 20 years ago for a wedding, so jumped at the chance to stay again when work had me back in my former home town. Despite being historic and having old world charm, the hotel interior has been well maintained and the fitness center was impressively modern. Best part of the hotel is the location - easy walk to all of downtown, waterfront, […] north end restaurants, and easy T to Copley and all of the back bay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great service and wonderful location!"
Our stay was nice but our check in was delayed until dinner time! Also, we were charged extra for a roll away bed on top of not being able to get into our room until after 5 PM. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was 3 stops from Logan and very close to all the things we needed...the T, food and attractions. Like the history of the hotel. The staff could not be more helpful. We stayed two. If hrs and room was very comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
This was a great place to stay, Close to Boston Commons and the T. Good service in the hotel and restaurant. Lovely dinner in the restaurant. The complaints about the rooms must be from unseasoned travelers. This is an old hotel in a major city, Rooms are small and the city is noisy. The view is usually not good , an adjacent building. This is all typical […] of a hotel in a major city, The walls are thin and some of our neighbors were loud and inconsiderate. The common areas are beautiful. I would definitely recommend. small room, needs a facelift, wanted afternoon tea but was not available in any location other than room service or make your own from the coffee maker...need to have at least 1 bar/restaraunt available in the hotel at all times...gift shop does not count...would rather be at the HarbourGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful but Lack of Privacy/Expensive"
Staying at this beautifully preserved and incredibly staffed hotel was just an amazing experience. The location is right in the heart of things with the waterfront, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall and Beacon St. all easily within walking distance. The down side was the fact that the side of the hotel was about 15' from an apartment building who's windows […] face into your room. For any privacy at all, we had to keep the blinds almost completely drawn. At $239 per night for a single bed room with a VERY tiny bathroom, we felt that it was rather excessive. Since the hotel is also very close to may casual and fast food restaurants, I would recommend eating there as a "nothing special" breakfast for 4 cost us $118 with the tip and a bottle of water from the mini bar was $7. It was a great hotel to stay in. I knew nothing about Boston so really did not know if I was picking a good location or not. Super pleased with my selection. I enjoyed the workout room..very clean. the rooms are small but what dies that natter when you are there to site see...The only complaint I would have is with the concierge. Stayed here 3 years ago prior to my son's wedding on Cape Ann. Book three rooms then for me, my daughter and family, and friends from England. Returned now to meet my new granddaughter. "Great location, in the middle of Boston."
Great location. We could walk to just about every attraction. The room we had was not really that appealing since the windows looked out to the side of another building six feet away. "A fine experience in a lovely historic hotel"
We very much enjoyed the night we spend at the Boston Omni Parker House Hotel. We were a group of six, and we fit into an executive room, making use of the two beds, the couch and an extra bed roll. Tricky to fit six in one room, but we were able to there! The only thing that was unfortunate, is that I believe the room is generally a smoking room. "Perfect for the 4th of July in Boston"
Great location for all of the events in Boston during the weekend of July 4th. Very close to everything especially but foot, a car is not needed. We went to the fireworks, the reading of the Declaration of Independence and several tour by The Park service which were free and great! We also want to the MFA and the ICA, both were great as well.Genuine Expedia guest review
