Great place but a bit off the center of the city - but closer to Industrial area of Origgio. Malpensa is about 45 KM away with a very good Malpensa-Milan Express train service available to Seranno and Linnate about 60 KM away. Milan Station is about 45 minutes away by taxi on a good day. Train service from Serrano to Milan (close to hotel) is infrequent. Service provided is excellent with the staff being cheerful and helpful. Breakfast is good as in most of Europe (unlike England!). Great room size and well maintained.

If you have to pass a night by the airport this place is perfect,you have it all state of the art room with comfortable bad,all kind of small gadget nice amenities and a spa, just know that once in Italy you might have some small surprise early check in fees 30 € and if you want non stop wi fi or to be in a lounge were you have nice wine and fingertips food you add 30 € other than that you can relax and be ready to your next flight

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was great. The complimentary breakfast had a great assortment of cheeses, meats, fruit, cereal, and croissants and bread. . It is across the street from the lake so the view is pretty from the rooms.

Overall a pleasant experience. Good quality hotel. Check-in experience at reception however made an uneasy start by not getting passports immediately back, and having to ask for it. Using parking garage was also tedious. Service should be more courteous and forthcoming for a hotel of this rating. Breakfast was good and with very nice staff.

Overlooked by Monte Bisbino, this steamer point on Como’s southerly shores has an attractive old quarter, but is principally famed for the ultra-grand Villa d’Este, a celebrity haunt with a chequered and colourful history. Built in the early 17th century, it is now a luxury hotel full of marble staircases and priceless antiques. Having yearned to stay at this hotel for some years, it at last arrived on our schedule and we were not disappointed. Traditional, friendly, innovative (if you are a foodie, you can tour the kitchens and herb gardens with chef). I got a lovely senior chef who looked like a taller more handsome version of Christopher from the Sopranos. I could have quite […] happily spent the day in the kitchens alone. The grounds and food were fabulous with a choice of two restaurants. The 'tie must be worn' Terrace was, as expected, very impressive but have to admit we also liked The Grill restaurant which was a bit more intimate. All in all, a lovely place to stay and we are already planning a return next year. Read more
