We were staying in odense to visit a former au pair. The hotel was close to the train station - critical, as we were walking with several pullmans and... two small children. The elevator was small and quint, about what we expected in an older building in Europe - it worked well. The staff were friendly, helpful and on top of all of our needs. The price was definitely right and the services were very good. - We discovered that prices in denmark are high (sheesh!) - BUT, within easy stroll of Windsor were several outdoor cafe's, the town marketplace and the HC Anderson museum. by D Rizzo from Orillia, ON on 06/01/13

the hotel is older, but charming. The parking is cramped for those of you who drive. larger rooms than the "hostel" type rooms we had been staying at. the breakfast is the best of any hotel with several warm entrees. We will use this hotel again. Within walking distance of most sights.

Odense is a nice city to walk around in and the Windsor Hotel is in a great location for that. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is charming. The parking lot is small, so go early for a spot. Breakfast had variety and was good. The room was hot and one window didn't open all of the way. The beds were creaky and old. The staff at this hotel spoke English and were very helpful to us. The location is good for visiting the city sites of Odense. The breakfast was included with our hotel fee and was a good basic breakfast. The rooms were very clean but some may find the hotel a bit out-dated and tired.

Quality of room only let down by size of bathroom (may only relate to Room 203 as that was ours!) Very narrow and required a crab-like walking motion to access. Shelf over sink made accessing taps / plug difficult without banging hands on shelf. Other than that a great hotel ideally located midway between railway station and Odense "Centrum"

The location is only a few mins walk from all the shops, as well as the tourist attractions such as HC Anderson's house. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The Hotel Windsor was typical of other 3 to 4 star hotels in Denmark. A huge plus was the central city location being close enough to walk with wheeled baggage from the train station and its location close to the central shopping precinct and local restaurants. The room was small but adequate for our needs. The bed was typical Scandinavian however and […] there was no fridge or hair dryer in the room. Wifi was free but needed to be reset with a new password from the front desk reception each day. The inclusive breakfast was excellent and the bar being popular in the evenings. Particularly handy for anyone arriving by train. Staff helpful and friendly,and attended to minor problems straightaway. Breakfast excellent - and full buffet afternoon tea available free. If going back to Odense would definitely stay there again. 10 mins walk to castle and eating places and H C Andersen museum. An art gallery 5 mins away.

Bliver da så lidt skuffet når man regner med at man betaler for 4 senge til hvert værelse at der så kun er 2 i det ene og 3 i det andet. Korzystałem już z siostrzanego hotelu Ansgor. Standard średni, ale całkowicie wystarczający. Duży wybór w bufecie śniadaniowym ale monotonny. Na pochwałę zasługuje stały dostęp do napojów (kawa, herbata, soki), czego niestety brakuje np. w polskich hotelach tej samej lub nawet wyższej klasy. Rummet vi hade var bra, stort men låg öde vid hotellets lilla parkering. Lite läskigt med andra ord. Frukosten var inte att rekommendera och om man har bil så är utrymmena små och hotellet har ont om parkeringar.

Selvom de skriver at der er trådløst netværk, så fungerer det i praksis ikke. Og når personalet gøres opmærksom på det, slår de bare beklagende ud med armene. Mon ikke at de har hørt det mange gange før. Virkelig utilfredsstillende!!

Bestilte et familie værelse med 1 dobbeltseng og 2 enkeltsenge. Fik dobbeltværelse med 2 folde-ud-senge. Der var dårlig plads til de 2 fold-ud-senge. Ingen varmt vand på badeværelset ved ankomst pga. håndværkere. Vand over hele badeværelsesgulvet når man tog brusebad. This is the first time we have stayed at hotel Windsor and probably the best hotel in Odense. Great service, god beds and full English breakfast for a very reasonable price.
