Hotel facilities were good! My room was cold even when the thermostat was set for 80 degrees. The business office was out source so you are subjected to charges for boarding pass printing and internet usage. Most hotels are free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Service was sub-par at best. The staff was friendly. The service was a bit slow- waited about 25 minutes for a replacement iron. And everything at the hotel is a charge. I called room service to simply request a pair of utensils, to which I was told would be a $4 charge. Then I asked if there was a microwave on-site to warm some food, and to no surprise, […] there wasn't a microwave on-site, but room service could heat up the dish for a fee. Oh, and the fee depends on what's being heated. Aside from that, valet was always prompt, but pricey. Location is a plus as well. The public area is great. We ate at Sear and had a great meal. The room was a different matter. The chair was dirty, the bed was terribly soft and uncomfortable. The pillows on the bed were sofa size throw pillows and two without pillowcases. I would definitely prefer king pillows. Coffee in room was fairly nasty as well. "Buckhead is worth the drive for their service."
The location and hotel interior are one of a kind. The restaraunts in the hotel are very nice as well. However, the service was par at best. We purchased a room with complimentary breakfast. I called 1 week before our stay to ask when breakfast closed. The desk clerk told me 2pm because of New Years Day. After arriving to the hotel, a different desk […] clerk told me 2pm too. A new desk clerk then told me breakfast closed at 11am. It was 11:20. I informed her of what the previous 2 clerks had told me. She then said "She wasn't sure" and then told me I have to ask the people at the restaraunt where breakfast is served (inside the hotel). She didn't even know yet she checks people into their rooms. Finally, the hostess at the restaurant told me breakfast closes at 12pm. We went to the catwalk that connects the hotel to the garage over the street. All the doors were locked to get to the garage. There was a lady hotel worker sitting near the doors seeming to do nothing. When we and several other guests asked to get thru the doors, she literally said "I don't know why they locked the doors, and I don't know when they will be open". So, we had to walk on the street. Walking on the street was not a big deal, but when I paid $250 a night + $20 parking I expect much better service. Most of all, I expect a hotel worker to answer such simple questions. "The WORST Customer Service I have ever experienced"
I would sum up our stay at the Mariott Marquee Atlanta as a lack of customer service sandwiched in chaos. They were understandably busy in the midst of a college bowl game, but this does not excuse a major hotel chain for the significant lack of organization and attention to guests that we experienced during our stay. It began with no parking at the […] hotel, no help getting our bags and even being told we could not park our car while we got everything inside and checked in. The room was clean and comfortable but with NO TOWELS. The housekeeper in the hall had no towels to give me and three phone calls produced no results, only excuses about the hotel being very busy and assurances that they were on their way.by the time we checked out of the hotel the next day, we still had not received towels. Check out consisted of hoofing it back to my car in the lot down the street, arriving back to the hotel and having to wait 20 minutes behind the circus of cars ahead, as a number of hotel employees watched on making no attempt to pitch in to help relieve the congestion or try to direct the traffic into a better pattern. In addition to the extra charges that have appeared on my final bill, including a breakfast I paid for when I booked the hotel, I drove away from the Mariott Marquee Atlanta promising to never stay here again. "Not impressed AT ALL"
LET ME FIRST WARN YOU: this hotel DOES NOT HAVE FREE WIFI. Which is unheard of in 2015, but if you want to use wifi you have to pay 14.95 per day for their slowest internet connection. Upon booking in, our requested two double bed room was not available so we were upgraded to a room with a better view having one king sized bed. The room was clean, and […] the bed was comfortable. The maids came to clean the room every morning but NEVER replaced the towels. We had to call every night we were there to get new towels, which would take 4-5 hours before being delivered (at slow hours such as 11 pm - 3 am. There is no microwave in this hotel. You may have the kitchen microwave your food for $4, which they are extremely rude if you ask for them to do so! No problems from the valet service personally, but while waiting to pick my car up one afternoon a woman was complaining about her car being hit! In Hotlanta for the Peach bowl. Friendly staff, easy check in-check out. Great location in between the Hyatt Regency and the Hilton. Walkway to both hotels, so you never have to go outside! We first get to the hotel an hour after designated check-in time at 3:00 and our room which was a Junior suite and it was not ready so we were placed in a regular room and was not placed into our suite until around 6:30.
