"Good location for short stay"
Friendly and efficient staff at valet, front desk, concierge and Palm Court. Room service staff seemed overwhelmed (possibly because it was Mother's Day weekend and there were several weddings going on). Got our breakfast order wrong on three occasions for the same order but they were gracious enough to comp because of the oversight. We were in a junior […] suite; walls are very thin. You can hear almost everything on the other side of the shared wall. Rooms were a little outdated but nothing to complain about. Overall stay was comfortable otherwise. We were looking for location more than type of hotel but ended up being very happy on both fronts. Hotel was very nice and staff very friendly. Our room was a bit on the small side, but honestly we were only sleeping in it so it really wasn't a big deal. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. One thing to note, which totally isn't the fault of […] the hotel, was that there was construction going on (new parking garage it looked like) so there was very loud bangs and noise starting at 7am. We needed to get up early anyway but something to consider right now. Overall, great hotel with a GREAT location. We walked to everything the entire weekend. Would stay again! "Amazing Hotel right in town"
Great customer service and very clean hotel. The hotel was much more luxurious than I expected. The best Hilton I've ever stayed in. Right next to the Fountain Square where you can go to relax and enjoy live shows free. Close to many shops and restaurants. I'd definitely stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed here for a reds game....great location..great rooms...Beautiful architecture. ...will definitely be backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cool hotel but overpriced for experience."
The historic decor was neat. The staff was nice. However, our view was a gravel roof, the room and bathroom were both very small, and construction outside window woke us up at 6am.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Amazing hotel right downtown"
This hotel is beautiful. It is connected to many shops and restaurants. I've never stayed in a nicer place. Right next to a very relaxing Fountain Square and within walking distance of the US Bank Ballpark and US Bank Arena. I won't stay anywhere else next time I come to Cincinnati.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Flying Pig Weekend"
Great location. The beds and pillows are soooo comfortable. Fell right to sleep which is not the norm for me or others in my party. Loved the large room and the kids loved the pool. The pasta dinner buffet was nice but thought it would be nicer based on price and being the Hilton. It would have been nice if they had options to accommodate all of the […] runners in the hotel on Sunday morning before the race. Hotel is super convenient for race weekend. "Grand old lady; shows a little age."
All was excellent. This hotel is a National Historic Landmark; an old yellow-brick 40-story tower that was a pioneer in its time. Reflecting that age, the rooms are a bit small - a laptop filled the work desk, no place for room-service tray...and the plumbing, though very charming, had minor hiccups. The location is grand, fine dining nearby with lots […] of choice. A fine dining room - of historical significance is also a treat. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Excellent service and views. Rooms are slightly dated but the old school feel makes up for it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Birthday trip for my wife"
Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was in a perfect location downtown. Our favorite thing about the hotel though was how it looked inside. When Hilton re-did it they kept the old style of the hotel. They had old pictures up of what it used to look like and had the old elevator keypad still displayed. I just […] loved the historical part of the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Old hotel in the perfect location"
This is an expensive grand old hotel in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. It includes the best Saget rated restaurant in the city, great views of the city and riverfront from the upper floors, and is within walking distance of fountain square and the Arts center.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
If you're planning on staying in Cincinnati and walking around town the Hilton is a perfect location even though it's on the higher end of the price range. Motorcycle parking on the street is just around the corner on Race between 4th and 5th. $25 in the garage under the Hotel otherwise. Call and check whether the pool and hot tub st the gym are operational […] 1st before booking. Some things were a bit outdated and showing age but the staff has done a good job keeping up with a hotel that was built in 1931. Has some major historical significance too. Filming of Carol coming out next year was done there in March and April 2014 as well. "Great location and a real gem downtown"
My husband and I chose this hotel because we wanted to stay in an unique interesting hotel. We did not wan to stay in a modern, all alike hotel. When we arrived, this historical place was everything we asked for. The Hotel was built in 1930. Art nouveau throughout the lobby and restaurant. The restaurant and bar were absolutely beautiful with details […] in all walls and ceiling. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the beautiful ambiance and the bartender friendly conversation. Outside the hotel, we were surprised to see a nice area of Cincinnati, great restaurants and a nice chariot ride that cost $35.00 and worth it As we spoke with the local, he told us about Kentucky and the bus that will take us there for $1.00-Kentucky. We also loved that town-Newport. My husband played in the Cincinnati casino and we hanged out in the bar attached to the casino. Loved Cincinnati, clean, fancy, great restaurants, beautiful lamps on the streets Very nice experience. For people that love culture, friendly people, great customer service. I signed up as a honor guest with the Hotel and got a bag full of goodies. I'm glad I booked with Hotels.com.. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Took a risk and it paid off!"
I took a risk and chose an unpublished hotel for the first time ever. It was worth it! Not only was the hotel beautiful, I had called a few days earlier to see if we could upgrade to a King bed from a Queen bed. When we arrived, I honestly forgot to ask about it again but went up to our room and we had a King bed. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. "Old hotel and loud"
I think everything is relative. I've been to many hotels so I am judging this hotel not on its own but compared to others. This is the second time I've been to this hotel. The first time was many years ago and I liked it more then because I didn't have other hotels to compare them to. I still like the decorations and beauty of the hotel itself and the […] closeness to all the stores and restaurants in the middle of the city. This hotel is old so the rooms are old. The carpet in the room was stained. The room was very loud. I could hear everything the people above me and around me were doing. Luckily they stopped making noises at night so I could sleep. The bed was comfortable. I got a Junior Suite so there were two bath rooms which I liked. But the bath did not drain well so I would shower with a puddle of water. This hotel also doesn't have free Wifi. I've noticed that expensive hotels like this nickel and dime you by charging for Wifi whereas less expensive hotels always offer free Wifi. It makes me resent them when I have to be at an expensive hotel. It would really be to their benefit to offer free Wifi instead of creating resentment all the time. "great mattress: MUCH thicker than the walls!"
Loved our room, tiny but nice. Bathroom same. Small but well appointed. Bed was great. Fell sound asleep until the neighbors came home. They weren't loud. But I heard every word they said. Then, when the other neighbors woke early, I heard their conversations and TV. Beautiful hotel but bring your noise machine or your earplugs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Room, Beautiful Hotel!"
We had a perfect time, and it started immediately with the man at the front desk, who was charming to my wife and a gracious first contact at the hotel. It was Valentine's Day, and although we didn't order anything special, we had Champagne, chocolate covered pretzels and berries awaiting us in the room. It was a very nice touch. We loved the Art Deco […] design. The age of the hotel was not a factor in its appearance. It was very well maintained. This was among the nicest places we have ever stayed. The rooms are very small. The valet parking situation is ridiculous. We called their automated parking service about 15 minutes BEFORE we wanted the car and then waited for about 25 minutes. So, it took almost an hour to obtain the car!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice location, but not worth it"
While the location of the hotel is nice, the room leaves little to be desired. It is a very tiny room, there was a hole cut under the bathroom door large enough that a towel had to be stuffed under it to have any amount of privacy in the bathroom, the bed was a full sized bed, not a queen - and definitely not the most comfortable bed I've slept in. […] If that wasn't enough, the lack of sleep that we got because of the night club near by blaring their music (I could hear the lyrics) sealed the deal for us. I do have to say, the lobby of the hotel is extremely beautiful. I just wish that beauty was carried up to their hotel rooms! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Historic (1930) hotel in Cincinnati"
Beautiful old hotel, nicely updated rooms. Entrance is a little confusing to find, and there are a lot of stairs to climb to the lobby. Once there, though, the hotel is like a journey to 1930. The dining room, Orchid's, is excellent! Good service, excellent food, and the staff doesn't rush you. My new girl friend and I had a five-hour dinner on a Friday […] night-so enjoyable. Attended a conference. Staff was quite proud of hotel's heritage and was knowlegeable of its history. "Not a lot of bang for your buck."
It's just Cincinnati (Don't get me wrong, amazing city! And I'll be back!) But I say this regarding the fact that it's not a mega city where every city hotel is at a premium. (e.g. Chicago, San Fran, etc) For a one night stay I paid $150 (less tax) for a one room, queen, closet sized space. The bathroom was as big as my closet at home. Honestly for […] that price I thought I was splurging and was expecting nicer, loftier accommodations. My expectations fell extremely short. I was charged 75 cents for making a local call to order pizza. (Really Hilton, are we nickel and diming now?) I was charged $25.50 for valet/overnight parking. The hotel was also stomping grounds to hundreds of little cheerleaders in town for a competition. Which I didn't mind because the information book about the hotel said guests under 14 are not allowed in the pool or spa area. Heading down to the pool / spa area my partner and I hear a cacophony of HoneyBooBoos running amok. Later from the room I called at 1030 (it closed at 11pm on Saturdays) and the gym/pool attendant confirmed they were still there. No mention as to why they were allowed access in the first place. Next time in Cincy, the Hilton won't be getting my 75 cents. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel right in the heart on Cincy"
My wife and I booked this hotel in January for our stay during the Bengals/Chargers playoff game and we could not have been happier with our choice. The staff at this hotel was one of nicest of any hotel I've stayed at. Very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for a Bengals game, just blocks from Paul Brown Stadium. The walk from the […] hotel to the stadium is about 5-10 minutes. The hotel is very clean and has a shopping center attached to it which my wife enjoyed. Also located right across the street from Fountain Square. Parking was easy, we parked in the garage right next to the hotel (I forget the name of it) and there were plenty of spots. It did cost $15 per night but I didn't find that overly expensive compared to back home in Washington DC where parking can be twice that. The only small issue we had was the heater in our room wasn't working properly. We let the front desk know and within minutes someone was up to repair it and it was working fine again within 15 minutes. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel in downtown Cincy, we really get a lot of bang for your buck here. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient to many attractions in Cincinnati"
It was the most beautiful hotel that we've visited. Very interesting 1931 style of mostly French Art Deco. And the connection to the Tower next door was great. We were there during frigid temperatures and did not have to venture outdoors!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This was a lovely little getaway spot. It's right in the center of everything downtown and the historic qualities of the building are very high. "Great downtown location"
Beautiful old hotel with updates. It's very upscale, no casual dining but there are places just a short walk away. Location was great and we walked around. It's nice to see a downtown area that is flourishing and still has a shopping district. The hotel staff was very pleasant. Our room was on the 29th floor, view was okay, over construction site. Our […] hallway smelled musty, but friends who were on 6th floor, theirs did not. The room was very small but adequate as we were just in there to sleep and change. I find it a bit funny that they charge for internet service when lower rated hotels/motels (i.e. Comfort Inns) do not. Loved the sky walks to walk from different buildings in the downtown area.
