"Great hotel right in the heart on Cincy"
My wife and I booked this hotel in January for our stay during the Bengals/Chargers playoff game and we could not have been happier with our choice. The staff at this hotel was one of nicest of any hotel I've stayed at. Very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for a Bengals game, just blocks from Paul Brown Stadium. The walk from the […] hotel to the stadium is about 5-10 minutes. The hotel is very clean and has a shopping center attached to it which my wife enjoyed. Also located right across the street from Fountain Square. Parking was easy, we parked in the garage right next to the hotel (I forget the name of it) and there were plenty of spots. It did cost $15 per night but I didn't find that overly expensive compared to back home in Washington DC where parking can be twice that. The only small issue we had was the heater in our room wasn't working properly. We let the front desk know and within minutes someone was up to repair it and it was working fine again within 15 minutes. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel in downtown Cincy, we really get a lot of bang for your buck here. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient to many attractions in Cincinnati"
It was the most beautiful hotel that we've visited. Very interesting 1931 style of mostly French Art Deco. And the connection to the Tower next door was great. We were there during frigid temperatures and did not have to venture outdoors!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful and historical"
The location was awesome, short walk to the river front and only a couple of blocks to the downtown square. Wonderful views. Original, beautiful hotel features.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location to stay and see our Bengals!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a lovely little getaway spot. It's right in the center of everything downtown and the historic qualities of the building are very high. It's amazing that this hotel is still standing after 80 years and is still in near-mint condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. It's a typical downtown "luxury" hotel in that […] they charge you for parking, internet, etc. The room was also a little small, but this is to be expected in a hotel of its age. "Checkin and checkout is flawless"
I checked in in 30 seconds. The gentleman even upgraded us to a corner room up high for no charge. The rooms are vintage yet tv and bed supplies are modern. Very cool bathrooms (old school fancy). The checkout took 10 seconds. Absolutely flawless service and housekeeping. I have stayed at the westin across the street As well. both are nice, but the […] hilton was simply unflawed. We booked this hotel for its downtown proximity to activities. We secured two queen rooms which were both rather small, but expected given the age of the hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. Given the availability of stylish boutique hotel options we were a bit disappointed in the decor of the room. Not much pizzazz. The lobby, restaurant, […] and bar facilities were excellent. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Retro cool, but small"
Cool architecture and decor, but small room and a tiny bathroom. Central location is convenient.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great downtown location"
Beautiful old hotel with updates. It's very upscale, no casual dining but there are places just a short walk away. Location was great and we walked around. It's nice to see a downtown area that is flourishing and still has a shopping district. The hotel staff was very pleasant. Our room was on the 29th floor, view was okay, over construction site. Our […] hallway smelled musty, but friends who were on 6th floor, theirs did not. The room was very small but adequate as we were just in there to sleep and change. I find it a bit funny that they charge for internet service when lower rated hotels/motels (i.e. Comfort Inns) do not. Loved the sky walks to walk from different buildings in the downtown area. Made it very convenient in the cold weather! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Got upgraded to a suite!"
My husband and I attended a wedding at the Omni last Saturday night and decided to spend the night. Upon check-in we were told there were no more king sized rooms available so the woman working at the desk stepped out to talk to her manager and came back to report they were upgrading us to a suite. Great views from the 23rd floor!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
went to check out the casino & explore down town. hotel was right in the heart of it all. convenient free shuttle picks up about every half hour to the casino. great staff, clean room, comfy bed & a view of the river & stadium from our room. great time at the bar, make it down early for breakfastGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Elegant hotel located Downtown"
The hotel is a magnificent jewel in the Hilton brand. Our check-in was quick and Anastasia gave us a room that overlooked the river. The hotel itself is not a modern hotel but shows great detail all the way through. With marble and dark mahagohny wood all throughout, it is a testament to the craftsmanship that was used to build the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A Grand Old Lady"
It is a kick to stay in this grand old dam of a Hotel. High ceilings, spacious rooms, ours had three walk in closets. The towels are made for Hilton and wonderful thick, long and luxurious. Of course for downtown Cincinnati, the location could not be better and the staff is well trained and professional. Our room rate for two double beds was only $167 […] which seem pretty low to me although I have not tested it against any other downtown Cinci hotels. The interior space here is a glory to behold and even if you are just passing by it is worth your time to peak into the Palm Court, the Netherland’s grand lobby from the 1930s. The French Art Deco setting is a Registered Historic Landmark and truly beautiful. Not so good is the noise level. In spite of the solid wood doors we could hear our neighbors talking in the next room in what sounded like normal voices and the tacked on charges. Expect to pay $12 for a day’s high speed internet connection and $3 for the bottles of water they leave in your room. Valet parking is extra too. This brings the per night fees up to around $200 which I guess is still not that bad. These "not so good" features mean that this place if far from perfect. I am rating it "very good" because there is no way in the world that it is "average" in any way. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for downtown business travelers"
Was very nice facility, and convenient for the business that I needed to attend to.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok, but very dated interior"
The hotel location downtown is great. While the Art Deco interior is charming, the quality of the rooms are very dated in not a pleasant way. I was most disappointed that the gym closed before 9pm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, confusing layout"
The hotel itself is in a phenomenal location, and the room was very clean, with an updated but retro feel. The only difficult part is getting to the hotel lobby from the self parking across the street. Going through the Tower Place labyrinth is a bit confusing. The hotel bar is a must-see, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My […] wife and I will definitely be going back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Watch the valet"
The staff was outstanding with the exception of the valet. When we got our car back everything in the trunk had been turned upside down. The valet obviously liked cornering faster than he should have.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great location downtown"
The stay was great but the service was alittle difficult. I left some items in my room and I was there after I checked out for three hours. I did not receive a call that I had left them. I would've been able to come back to the hotel and get them. Me and my fiancé wanted to have breakfast and asked the server about the continental breakfast. they said […] it was from 7 to 11. Later we found out that there was a breakfast buffet down in the restaurant area which we was not informed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice hotel and atmosphere"
Room was nice, and general atmosphere was what I was looking for. A bit pricy for Cincinnati though.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great City and Great Hotel"
Cincinnati is under appreciated and under valued. The city is full of surprises, and one way to experience the urban delights is to use the Hilton as the place to launch your tours and to rest after a full day of walking the town!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a corner room on the 25th floor. It was awesome! It was a great location!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Always Love The Hilton Netherland Plaza!"
This is my favorite hotel in Cincinnati! Always clean and staff are great. The Orchids at Palm Court is always a great place to catch a wonderful dinner or terrific breakfast. Beds are always beyond comfortable. My only wish is that there was access to free wifi in the guest rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very helpful staff"
I had an annoying request of getting an itemized bar receipt from the night before when I had charged it to my room and the staff got it for me with no problem. They were also very accomodating with bags for my wet umbrella when I walked in. The valet service was prompt and efficient. Will definitely stay again on business.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"beautifully restored historic hotel"
This property has been beautifully restored to its former glory. The staff is to be commended for personal service. The crowning glory of the hotel though is the Orchid Room, one of the finest restaurants in America.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great Hotel close to Cincinnati Music Hall"
We enjoyed our overnight stay. We were able to walk to the Cincinnati Music Hall. Staff were helpful and friendly. Ate at the Orchid Room and the service and food wonderful. Room was clean and inviting. The bathroom had no place to put your personal items needed a table or shelf. Would definitely go backGenuine Expedia guest review
"Out of date and depressing"
The Hilton Netherland is a historic building and I can appreciate the intricate Art Deco design of the hotel. However, the hallways and rooms, although they appear to be updated, lack an overall refined feel that you get with most Hiltons. The outlet situation was poor, some base boards were peeling or cracked and the hallways were depressing. Not worth […] the price in my opinion. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautiful Historic Hotel"
The Hilton is a beautiful landmark in Cincinnati. The hotel is well maintained, centrally located and was a good value. The staff was knowledgable and helpful at every turn. The only down fall is the size of the rooms. We were on the 14th floor and our room was tiny. It was fine for a couple overnight but I would not want to have an extended stay in […] a room that size or with children in tow. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Elegant is the most apt description"
Lovely old Deco hotel with all the amenities you need plus a fabulous restaurant...what more could one want? You can walk to both sports stadiums easily. The bar is beautiful and our meal in the Palm restaurant was unbelievably good. It is truly one of my favorite places to stay. I cannot recommend it more highly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice historic hotel close to stadium."
Room was clean, staff was great, bed was comfortable. Walls are pretty thin and rooms very small. But it worked for our short stay. Wouldn't enjoy the coziness if staying longer than one night. But still a nice place to stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
I was just there to basically sleep - which was somewhat difficult due to the thin walls and loud air conditioner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
