the room was a little smaller but for the two of us and the amount we paid it was money spent well. Was only there one night and was comfortable for reasoning of visit.

Inside of the hotel is very bad. Though non smoking room, the rooms smells full of smoke. I would not recommend to this any one.

We were only in town for one night for a concert, so we didn't need anything fancy. However, this hotel was in major need of repair and cleaning. I have stayed in Howard Johnson Hotels before and they were nice and clean. This room was very dirty, stains all over the walls, lots of hair in the bathroom floor. If the room and hotel had been clean, it would have made up for the fact that it was completely outdated.

Was not bad for a one-night stay. However, the inside lock on the door was broken, which was kind of unsettling for my wife. However, the room was clean except for a few things on the ceiling that were cracked and the bathroom fan could have used a good cleaning. Overall, though, it was comfortable and the TV worked so I was happy.

Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 19, 2009
The first thing you notice upon stepping into the room was the tremendous rank of smoke. It wasn't like someone had smoked a cigarette in there the day before, it was like the room had been heavily smoked and then a non-smoking sign placed on there just for us. Every time we came into the room for 3 days, it reeked of old stale smoke. It was also a problem for my smoke-allergic fiance. Also, someone's name was etched into the mirror in the bedroom. Stay away from this hotel.

We knew for the price we wouldn't get much, but the hotel staff was non-existent for the most part and the one person who checked us in was curt and rude. When we first arrived in our room we noticed the headboard from the bed had fallen down and that the screws that once held it on the wall were exposed and pointed straight at where our heads would be. I called the front desk to simply let them know it was broken so they didn't think we had done it and the front desk lady was rude again and said she would have someone fix it the next day. The next day was Thanksgiving so no one was on duty which was fine, however, it never got fixed. Our continental breakfast consisted of thawed out eggo waffles sitting on the counter, a half cup of coffee because it ran out (it was 7:00am when we went down for breakfast) and a gallon of milk that was sitting out, not on ice. The next day, the same gallon of milk was sitting out again! There was a door into the building that said it was locked from 10pm to 7am, however, you couldn't physically get the door closed and I went down to check it because we have a small baby and it was NEVER locked. FYI - the hotel is in a very bad area of town. Like I said, we weren't expecting much, but this to us was inexcusable and this hotel should not be open if they are going to run it like this.

The location was conveniently located to all of our destinations. On the other hand, the conditions of the hotel were poor. The side door to the outside was never locked even though there was a sign posted that it would be after a certain time. My wife found a piece of dried mucus stuck on the wall of the bathroom. There were cigarette burns all over the blanket in our non-smoking room. The air conditioner and the control knob was broken. The hotel guests were noisy and bought their own lawn chair to camp outside of their room. As soon as we arrived to the hotel, I immediately wish that I should have spend a little more money to stay in a different place.

I wasn't impressed with the hotel at all. The vending machines were not working; they would take the money but wouldn't give me anything drinks or my money back. When we were checking out, we waited 15 minutes at the front desk because no one was there. After 15 minutes we got tired of waiting and left the keys on the desk with a note. Check out time was at 12 and we were there at 11:30. When we called the hotel about an hour later to make sure they found the keys, no one answered.

Pretty cheap and good option if you don't plan on spending much time in your hotel room and need just a place to crash for the night. But if you're looking for a clean, comfortable hotel experience, look elsewhere. Hotel staff was pretty nice at least.
