Stayed here prior to flight out of DFW. Ate at the restaurant. It was pretty good but the drinks are expensive. The hostess was not very nice and ignored us. The workout room is great! Room was good but my carpet had a tear in the seam right as you walked into the door. Not a great way to enter the room. And the elevators are awful. Someone got stuck! I stayed here years ago and the hotel has gone downhill.

No surprises. They delivered a quality room/bed at a reasonable price. There was nothing exceptional, nor were there any negative surprises either. Great business location, with easy highway access to multiple business centers, Dallas, Addison, Irving, Fort Worth. I would suggest requesting a room on the East side of the hotel, opposite from DFW runways.

Personnel in the front desk didn't take care about the customers. If you arrive at 1AM, after a long trip, you are expecting something different. At least, to be treated as a customers who is paying for.

My boyfriend and I had our connecting flight at Dallas cancelled, instead of sleeping in the airport overnight we looked up hotels around the area, which the Westin popped up. We were extremely pleased when we arrived. The bed was one of the best hotel beds I have ever slept in! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here because it was close to the airport. Used the hotel shuttle to get to and from the aiport. Waited about a half hour after we called to get from the airport to the hotel, which seemed a little longer than most places. We ate at the bar/restaraunt in the hotel and it was good. Overall it was good for what we needed it for.

When we were asked which floor we wanted to stay on at check-in we chose the top floor assuming it would be the quietest. Unfortunately, there is a fitness room above the top floor and someone decided to work out at 2 AM and drop the hand weights on the floor after each rep.... so much for a good night's sleep. Food in the restaurant was pretty good, drinks were very expensive. Overall not great one night stay, but close to the airport.

Close enough to the airport that it was easy to overlook a few gripes in the condition of the hotel. There was also a large group of 20somes that were a bit annoying. Great staff at the front and in the lobby bar area. Good for the price, but if you've stayed at another westin, you'll be a bit disappointed. Oh! Free shuttle to DFW airport.

It was great! The hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel was clean and only 2.7 miles away from a big outdoor shopping mall.

I mean what can you say about the looks of the Westin but amazing. To top it off though is the service and it was the best. We were treated as if we were someone important. All the staff was very grand. There was a gentleman I do not remember his name who was taking care of the restrooms buy the check in desk who when we could not find where the breakfast was being served went out of his way to show us to the area. I so wish I could remember his name he deserves to be recognized. You do not run into customer service like that any longer. He was very regal. Thank you to the staff at the Westin Dallas/Ft Worth.

The toilet in the bathroom overflowed two separate times. The staff was available immediately to clean. On the second time we asked for a new room and they accommodated immediately and appologized for the inconvenience. Room was nice and very comfortable. Hotel is beautiful. It just did not have a working bathroom.

I was just in town for 1 night and wanted something very close to the airport as i had a very early flight the next morning. The hotel is very clean, service was excellent, good food choices and the shuttle runs 24/7.

Great. One item needs improvement - stop the maids from hammering each door in progression up and down the halls making the "do not disturb" on my door irrelevant every stay. You hear their bang and yell announcing their purpose, jiggle the handle open, and slam the door shut for each and every door from 8AM to 11AM. And you hear them preparing even before then. Forget the Heavenly bed - you won't get to use it much. Other than that - It feels like the best place to be each month for a week.

Double charged, thankfully I looked at my bank statement, not happy with the incompetence nor the financial inconvenience. This is unacceptable of a hotel of this caliber. Now I have to take time out of my schedule to be reimbursed.

We had an overnight (Friday night) stay at the hotel before heading to the airport on Saturday morning. I returned the rental car on Friday afternoon and the hotel shuttle was relatively prompt in picking me up. We had a "bar bites" for dinner and the fare was very good, as were the martinis. We caught the shuttle first thing in the morning and made it to the airport without incident. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Convenient location for overnighting at DFW. However, the shuttle service is not a convenient option for getting to and from DFW since it makes too many stops over terminals and it can take up to 40 minutes to get to your terminal if yours is the last stop. This was very inconvenient

I only stayed one night at the Westin, I chose it because it was close to the airport and I needed shuttle service. The room was very clean, pretty and have all the amenities wanted. My only complaints are the bathroom and TV. For some reason, there is no fan in the bathroom and after a shower, the tiny bathroom was very foggy .. also, there was not great water pressure in the shower and the tub drain was slow. The bathroom was CLEAN, but I was annoyed by the items just mentioned. The TV was super annoying, I thought that the remote was causing the issue with bad batteries or something, but when a staff person came to help, I was told that the TV was just slow to respond to the commands. It was extremely frustrating waiting for the TV to "catch up" to the commands. Other than that, loved the hotel. The staff was very welcoming and professional .. the shuttle was on time and the driver courteous.

Excellent check in very friendly and helpful, ate in Bar/ Restaurant , had prime rib wife had fillet both were excellent. Drinks were fantastic. Wait staff and bartender were great!!!! Room was great very comfortable, bed was great, maybe only slight negative would be bathroom size but not that big of a deal. Check out again like check in was great very friendly. We will stay here again and recommend.

A little dirty in the room: hair on the floor, toenail clippings on the carpet. But the beds are comfortable, good pillows, great linens, good towels. I reserved two beds, got one, had to switch out my room the next day. The food in the restaurant is fine, not fabulous, but fine. The staff was friendly. Adrian in the restaurant was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and funny. Overall a good stay. Feels a little old (vents from heater a little smelly).

My plane was extremely delayed so I booked at the last minute based on user reviews. They had an airport shuttle that was fairly quick (only :12 minutes, which at DFW is fast!) and courteous driver. Hotel neighborhood is off the freeway in a row of hotels with a Denny's across the street. The hotel lobby is updated and very welcoming, appearing upscale. Didn't have time to check out the restaurants at 2am when I arrived! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, yet dated with low popcorn ceilings, industrial doors, and odd wallpaper. The bathroom appeared semi-updated and small, but was clean and shower water was hot. Toiletries were lesser quality then a 4.0+ hotel would have.

Stayed for 4 nights on a business/couple getaway. Not the best combination of trips but hey, get away when you can. Overall the hotel was a let down. Our first room was shockingly small, old and not worth half of what we paid for it. We asked to check out and were told it would be very difficult to get refunded because we paid using hotels.com. They asked if they could upgrade us instead of us leaving. They moved us to a suite which was very considerate and appreciated. Still you could tell the hotel was old, not a nice as you would expect from the Westin and not worth the extra money imo.
