I have previously stayed at the Peabody Memphis on several occasions. After discovering there is also a Peabody in Little Rock, it was naturally my first choice. The hotel is new, so it looses the charm of the original Peabody. However, the staff is equally as friendly and helpful (the valets were sure to tell me that the parking meters don't run on the weekends) and the desk staff knew where everything was. Most major attractions and districts are within walking distance of the hotel. The room is comfortable and a decent size, though the electronics were outdated. Other than that, the view was great and the cleanliness and staff assistance was what any four star hotel should be.

We had read a book as a family about the famous "Peabody Ducks" so when I saw it so reasonably priced on Hotels.com, I had to snag it. Our room was incredibly comfortable and regal looking. The staff was very courteous. We watched the ducks march in in the morning and the manager even let our kids choose a rubber ducky in the gift shop to remember them by! Worth every penny.

Positives...a nice hotel with exceptionally friendly & helpful staff in all areas. The rooms are spacious & clean. And, I can't tell you how much I appreciated the free internet. It's a bit on the pricey side if you ask me, but better a bit higher price with the benefits mentioned above than what you get in some other places. Negatives...no coffee pot in the room & no place to get coffee until getting to the meeting room. My key stopped working & when I went to the front desk I was given a key without even asking my name or proof of identity - I was just asked my room number. That seems to be a potentially huge safety issue to me & was disconcerting for me.

We stayed overnight for my wife's birthday. Because it was a special occasion we booked a room on the Club Floor. It was worth it. The service was great. We even got our own little private tour of the whole hotel from one of the staff who was on his way from the lounge to the first floor to pick something up. From what I could tell, all the club floor staff where very friendly and accommodating. And, of course, the duck march is something to see. They did try to charge us for valet parking which we did not use but quickly refunded it when I pointed out that we did not. Lack of guest parking is a bit of a disappointment.

A very reasonable Sunday night price considering the reputation of this fine hotel. I felt I shouldn't pass it up & am glad I didn't. 12th floor room overlooked the Arkansas River and North Little Rock. The hotel is right near the River Market area and wonderful hiking & biking paths. Staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Parking was the only glitch but even that was only about a short block away. I wish I'd had the time to take advantage of the area's offerings.

The hotel is old and requires updates in rooms and fitness center. The hotel common areas weren't clean. The oriental rug in the center of the lobby near the front desk was dirty. There were spider webs and dust in the elevators shafts that were highly visible due to the elevator having a glass back. The lamps in our suite were missing lightbulbs. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful but the property isn't being maintained at a 4 diamond status. The property was overpriced based upon its condition.

I stay at The Peabody every time I'm in Little Rock. This is a fabulous hotel - good room service, very comfortable rooms, fantastic neighborhood. My only complaint was actually with the check in process. This is the first time I've booked The Peabody with hotels.com. It seems as if either the website neglected to send the proper information, or The Peabody lost this information. The check in process took almost an hour and included calling hotels.com, waiting on a fax, and then following the regular check in procedure. The Peabody staff was exceedingly apologetic, but it was still quite a hassle to wrestle a toddler and wait for the check in to be completed. Next time, I'll confirm with any hotel after using hotels.com to book.

It was Valentine's weekend, but as we'd booked our trip specifically for Valentine's day and a romantic weekend, we were very disappointed that the hotel had allowed their King Size bedrooms to be well overbooked. We met many other couples in the Concierge area on the 18th floor who had the same unfortunate experience. It would have been nice if the hotel management had offered a free meal or even free parking for our two night stay, for putting a damper on our romantic weekend with a double bed room! Overall we were very pleased with the hotel, although paying extra for the upper floors was not worth the extra paid, as the Concierge/Hospitality breakfast and evening appetizers were disappointing, small quantities which they did not replenish, and we never received our complimentary newspaper.
