i loved my stay there, it was comfortable, relaxing and walkable to the beach.I would stay there again, even my friends said it was a nice place. i got lucky and just took a chance on the travelodge. We watched the sun go down, it was amazing.

The hotel served our needs just fine. Despite the fact it is packed in tight between PCH and the beach there was ample parking below the hotel. I have been staying at this hotel for years and haden't been since they switched to Travellodge but even so had an amazing time! The beds and linens have been updated, they have the BEST pillows! And you can't put a price on the view and location, were already planning our next trip. Thanks again for being our home away from home!

Loved the accessibility to the beach and to Disney. Rooms were large and clean. Our rooms were on the road side and traffic was very loud. Breakfast left much to be desired, but we were able to get something in our stomachs which was all we really cared about. Hotel is older, but location and cleanliness were great.

For the money you couldn't find a place on the water. I've stayed here before, but only when the rates are reasonable. Location is great, with the beach just yards away. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Only thing I would like to see is a microwave added to the wet bar area. Complementary breakfast is excellent and varied.

For the price the location is great, the continental breakfast is much more than fruit and toast, my family of 4 couldn't have stayed any other place and had a very decent breakfast for what we paid for the room. the coffee was awful, but they offered juice and milk too.

Fine for a place to shower, sleep & store luggage. Booked through a travel site, so was disappointed to have "gas station & liquor store" view when ocean view rooms were available. Many TV channels didn't work. Over all, clean and right at the beach. Sunset beach, not Huntington as address states.

Hotel was NOT in huntington beach. 5 miles north in a SCARY area. Exterior shabby room ok but no desk or ESPN. Receptionist very friendly & helpful but I feared for her safety in such a rough neighborgood. Don't stay here if you are female traveling alone!

I was staying here for the surf city 1/2 marathon. The check out time was 11am. They gave me until 12 but I had to call the morning of to see if they would. With all the people I didn't get back until almost 12 and I called again to tell then I was on my way and they said you have until 12:10 otherwise we will charge you another night. I arrived to the hotel early and asked the clerk if he would hold my bags until I checked in that afternoon. He was very friendly and courteous and was glad to help. I will definitely stay there next time I visit that area.

We stayed in room 124, which had a view of the beach. If looking for nightlife, not much within walking distance. Parking is below the room levels, and the parking entrance is on the west side of the building. Pros: right close to the beach, room was clean, gas station across the street on the east side. Cons: as mentioned in other reviews the hotel is showing its age. Breakfast buffet is stretching the term; for the most part it was individual packaged pastries, with fruit, yogurt, microwave breakfast items and cereal. The coffee was good one day, tasted reheated on other days. No on-site laundry, need to drive a bit to find choices in restaurants. Overall an okay place to stay if being near the beach is the highest priority. If looking for something newer or closer to restaurants or nightlife, another hotel may fit the bill better. Read more

we had a very nice stay it was very convenient location, close to Huntington and Seal Beach. there was road noise from the PCH side but if you closed your windows and curtains while trying to sleep you couldnt hear it. next time I would love an Ocean view!

This Travelodge is definitely not up to the standards set by other Travelodge's I've stayed in before. The rooms were run down and comparatively small. The rooms on the PCH side of the hotel were quite loud. I would highly recommend staying on the beach-side, it's worth the extra money for the view and the lack of road noise from PCH. Location is ideal for beach access. The hotel could use a facelift but it's adequate enough for a short stay. Breakfast "buffett" was disappointing. All cereals, pastries, not much healthy. The staff was cordial enough but not very helpful with directions to other locations, i.e. the mall, post office, etc.

Room was comfortable. Hotel almost on the sand of the Pacific. 30 - 40 feet from the beach. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was really bad. Staff was great, had a problem with the TV, called the front dest and the person came right over and switched the remote.

The Hotel location is great only a few feet from the beach. The first employee was very helpful when we asked about restaurant ideas.
