this hotel is ok...great and convient location..easy access to freeways..staff were very friendly..

The hotel is old and simple. Perfect if just looking to sleep somewhere. The rooms are small and kind of stuffy. The hallway had a smell of must. I traveled with the whole family and my 3 kids didn't mind it. The kids loved the heated swimming pool and the breakfast. I thought it could have had more protein,all carbs. The location excellent, close to everything. I would stay there again, but would not recommend it to my friends. Friendly staff.

We were visiting family so we didn't do any of the typical attractions, sea world and such. It is a decent hotel. The room was small but all we needed was a place to sleep a few nights. My room was very clean and didn't have any foul smells. That is my biggest concern for a hotel, does it smell good and is it clean. I was extremely pleased. There is a little bar in the hotel that we had a few drinks at, it was nice. Across the street is an area where boats are docked. We took a walk down there and saw a seal. Next time I go to San Diego I will stay at the Ramada again. Great quality for the price.

My wife and I brought our 1 year old here for trips to the zoo and sea world and both were very close also there are many restaurant options within walking distance. The room was a little small with a crib, but very clean and from the look of it recently remodled. We would definitly stay here again for the price.

The room seemed fair, a little small but clean, however the elevator was pretty scary. It was small and made noises going up and down. The staff was nice and accomidating.

Overall our experience was very good. Our AC did break at one point, however the staff offered to move us to another room (it was 1am, so the repair guy had gone home). The continental breakfast wasn't very impressive, however for the price I wasn't expecting much. There is a great fish market (which also sells cooked food) less than 1 block away. Overall we were very satisfied.

Since we just needed a place to crash for the night it met expectations. Otherwise the room was tiny and about one third overpriced.

If you're looking for an older, yet well kept and updated room, then, this is it. Small room but adequete for bed, desk and night stands. Great unlimited included breakfast. Older bar with good prices. 4 mi to downtown with easy access by car/bike. Quiet neighborhood and close to America's cup pier.

consider the amount of people this hotel can hold, should have a bigger room for breakfast.

It was good hotel, clean rooms, good customer service. The breakfast served was really good too!!

Great Hotel for families with or without children.

RECEPTIONIST SHOULD KNOW HOW TO GIVE DIRECTIONS TO THERE PLACE WHEN ASKED. IT TOOK 20 MINS FOR THEM TO GIVE ME AN ANSWER ON HOW TO GET TO THERE HOTEL, BUT OTHER THAN THAT OUR STAY WAS OKAY.

I had to cut short my stay after the first night. I was not comfortable one bit in my room. The smell made me feel I was staying back in the most disgusting of dorm rooms from 20 years ago, with old food and chips and whatever else all smeared into the carpet. Were there bugs in my bed sheets? Other worse things on the floor? I had to air things out (traffic noise!) so that I could cope with it thru the night. Yuck. Stay away - I moved to the equally priced Comfort Inn several blocks away and did much better! Even had a view up on the 5th floor. Hard to believe many people earn much less than $70 for a full 8 hour work day, and then have to blow it at a place like this. The car would have been a better option if I would have been able to take a shower somewhere.

What I was looking for was a clean comfortable place to sleep that was located close to where I wanted to be. This hotel provided this for me plus breakfast. The air conditioner was noisy. Overall, I am happy with my stay and would consider staying there again.

Stayed for 3 nights using the hotel only for sleeping at night. It was very good.

I must begin by saying I did have a very good night's rest,The room was comfortable and quiet.The room was small and so was the rest room.This hotel is in need of new carpeting and just an overall upgrading.I believe I could have gotten more for my money elsewhere.

The staff was fine but the amenities sucked. The elevator is so tiny it cant even fit more than two individuals with luggages. The bathroom is incredibly small and the AC spunded like a diesel truck.

Overall it was ok, I would not go there again unless there was no more Hotels available.

The hotel was satisfactory in all ways. We did not find anything objectionable. It was clean, the staff upgraded on request, the pricing was fair. Overall the stay was pleasant.

Hotel was okay...a little pricey for the type of room we got, but I would stay there again. The room was clean and we got a free breakfast. The outside was a little trashy and a lot of weirdos hanging out outside the bar, but once we got inside everything was fine!

My husband and I needed a room close to the airport for a good price. We looked at dozens of hotels and everything in our price range seemed really trashy. We came across this hotel and from what we could tell it seemed really nice, but we were a little hesitant because of how many stars it was. However, we were more than thrilled when we got to the hotel. It was contemporary, clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. It is a Limited hotel so the rooms are a little smaller, but it suited our needs perfectly (we had a king size bed and my 1 year old sons crib in the room). Although the neighborhood seemed a little sketchy, it was on the edge of a really nice neighborhood so it wasn't so bad. I would more than recommend this hotel to individuals in similar situations.

The place is old and stinky, the rooms are fine but the common areas look old, dirty and literally stinks. Good thing I only spend one night and I left really early in the morning. Also there were other guest being loud very late at night

For an "airport" hotel, we never heard a single plane. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite. There was a quaint little seafood restuarant across the street. Now while this is no 4 star hotel, it is a very good value for the cost. I would definately stay here again.

THE BATHROOM TUB THE BOTTOM WAS NOT GLUED DOWN AND WHEN IN SHOWER FELT LIKE YOU WERE WALKING ON FOAM.THERE WAS ONLY ONE SMALL BAR OF SOAP FOR TWO PEOPLE AND HAD TO ASK FOR MORE. THE DRAPES DID NOT CLOSE RIGHT WHICH SHOWED LIGHT COMMING THROUGH IN THE EARLY MORNING.

It was very close to Sea World, a short drive to the beach. A short walk to the bay where the BEST little fish shack is located. Close, but not too close to the 8. Breakfast was good; fruit, waffles, cereals, pastries, juices, coffees. Heated pool, wish it had a hot tub.

Fine room for a quick stay near the airport.

This hotel was centrally located and for the money was not bad.Was 5 minutes from the airport ,was clean and the area were it was located was nice.I would recommend for singles or family's on a budget.

This was a dump. The only good things it had going for it were its proximity to the sport fishing docks, the lounge upstairs and the people who came in twice a week with a BBQ and cooked food.

Great place to stay if you fish or boat.

The place was everything you would expect a hotel to be. It has a large bar on the 3rd floor and is right across the street from the ocean.

Poorly managed and staffed. The get up of the hotel is also very shoddy. The internet wireless does not work and the only wired computer on the premises is flaky in its connectivity to the internet. Continental breakfast is included and is ok for the business people to start their day quickly. Staff is courteous but rarely available.
