There was a German Shepard show going on in town and several of the dog owners were staying there. They left their dogs in their vehicles over night right outside our room. Nice stay, got in late so didn't see much of the hotel but the bed was very comfortable. Only downside was the phone rang at 8:00 a.m and I didn't get in the room until 2:00 a.m, and the maid knocked on the door at 8:30 a.m. Didn't enjoy being disturbed so early.

The hotel was right off the interstate and located in a cluster of other hotels. There were also restaurants, gas stations and a Target all with in reasonable walking distances. The desk clerk was incredibly helpful, and suggested restaurants nearby that we might enjoy. The bed was very comfortable, and our room had patio access so we were able to unload/load […] our car with ease. Overall stay was good, the bed was super comfortable...not too hard not too soft. Just right :) The only thing I didn't like was the position of the toilet, rather weird. The lid wouldn't stay up and kept hitting my back. The carpet probably could be replaced. The man that worked the front desk, Mike was very nice!!

1st of all, the description says all rooms have microwave and fridges, which just isn't true. Ours had neither. 2nd, the tv reception was terrible. Every channel was fuzzy, some worse than others. One other thing that really bugged me was that the front desk called at 8:30 pm to ask if our room was ok. I realize this was meant to be a good thing, however, […] I have 2 young children that were sleeping and I was almost asleep myslef, so a loud ringing was not appreciated. The location was most important for us. For future trips we will check out options of the surrounding motels. Overall, the place is in need of an update. We were there for 6 nights. The staff was accommodating. But, we were disappointed to find that we had to request that our room be made up since we were late (10 am) in leaving for the day.

After reading other reviews, I asked for the new wing, courtyard side. I stayed for four nights without any problems. However, "new" is relative. "new" is still old and in need of repair. Comments: -There are a lot of hotels in a small area. Must be a zoning thing. It is kind of strange. -We found the two local diners (Owls & Sadies) to be poor to awful. […] The best meal that we had in the area was Halloween 50 cent corndogs at the Sonic across the street. - Walking in the local area is not recommended. We did find that if you take the street east up to the foothills that there is a nice park and more enjoyable walking areas. - Hot food sometimes shows up for breakfast and sometimes doesn't. Then it is just ceral and waffles. Though I didn't see anybody try the waffles. Read more

The front staff was very kind, and helpful, as well, pointing out restaurants, and short cuts to a local event. The breakfast was great, as well as, the sweet lady who ran it. The breakfast starts at 4, and goes until 10. Can't beat that. Eat at Sadie's, which is in the parking lot!

Upon arriving at the Eubank Street Ramada Inn, I was worried about the condition of the room. However, the lobby was nice and while the hotel was old, the room was very clean and neat. The bed was great - pillowtop with nice bedding. We were only there for the overnight so can't say much about anything else but it certainly served our purpose.

Loved everything about the hotel. The only complaint I have was that the bed was very hard. Other than that there were plenty of pillows to make up for the comfort. The downstairs rooms are ideal for pets as the slide open doors lead to the grass area. Our Pomeranian came with us and he loved to play out in that grass. Our first room wreaked of cigarettes. We moved to a different room, which smelled stale. There was deification in the bottom of the toilet from whomever was there before us, which was beyond disgusting. And, when I took a shower the water did not drain. I probably won't stay at a Ramada Inn again. We fortunately stayed only one night. We chose this hotel because it is right on I-40 and we were only passing through. Also, this hotel will take pets. But the room wasn't very clean at all. The room opened out to a greenbelt with a sliding glass door which was nice. But the curtain had what looked like […] smeared blood on it. The shower was virtually non-existent. We had trouble getting any kind of water pressure at all through the shower head even though the pressure in the sink and stool seemed fine. My husband ended up washing his hair under the faucet as the water pressure was better there. I just stood under the shower for a long time. I would recommend going to La Quinta instead. They have comparable rates, and much better cleanliness than this hotel. Worth driving a little further off the highway to get better service. Read more

The plumbing was clogged up. We had to shower and use the toilet in another room. The person who cleans kept knocking on our door at 7AM.
