For the price we paid it barely passed as being acceptable. Older property. Some things should be replaced and some things should be cleaned better. I would not stay there again.

I have never stayed in a noiser hotel anywhere in the last 40 years. Couldn't get any rest in three of three nights there, as surrounding room residents didn't care how raucous they were all night long. Never stay in a hotel with a hot tub next to you, you'll be awake all night with the water running and the areator cranking away. Will not stay at another Quality Inn after this experience. Hope this helps others.

Came to visit my son at Cal Baptist University. It was very convenient (about 3 miles away... just down Magnolia. CLose to the mall if that is your concern. Clean and pleasant. Had breakfast available but didn't try it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gal behind desk recommended a Mexican restaurant across the street. It was very good.

I was happy with my stay here... Really close access to the freeways and plenty of food joints and a shopping mall in the area. I would stay here over most other hotels in the the area...

I stayed at the Quality Inn on "Magnolia" street. Apparently it used to be called something else because there was a bit of confusion with the name of the building. It is busy, there are alot of businesses around, and it appeared to be safe. Wednesday and Thursday nights were great. However, when Friday rolled around a different scene emerged. At approx 2:10 AM a gang arrived at the hotel. They boomed their music in the garage and parking lot, they loudly cursed, they were partying, and they were very obnoxious. They stomped around, just outside my door, like they owned the place. The cops had to be called (by another guest) and the gang was dispersed at roughtly 3:30 AM. The whole ordeal was more frustrating than any thing else. I couldn't talk to these characters because they were uncapable of such a thing. I couldn't rough them up and kick them out myself... because I was out numbered, and surely I was out gunned. I didn't want to put my family at risk over a group of punks. My only option was to sit captive, in my hotel room, and do NOTHING. Apparently, that is how weekends go on Magnolia in Riverside, California. BE CAREFUL.

The hotel was a good value. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that it overlooks a parking lot that at times was noisey.

I was encouraged when I checked in with the manager on duty. He offered an upgrade, but I was already settled in a comfortable room. He kept repeating they would do anything I need to make me happy. When I needed to print an e-mail from the lobby computer it didn't work. The desk clerk brusquely told me it worked for others and she couldn't help. The problem was minor, the clerk's attitude was the real problem. When the manager is on duty this is a 4.5. When he's not, a 2.5.

Was told this was not in a good part of town, but found that to be completely untrue. It's fine and completely safe. An unusual occurrence, though...the night clerk asked to take a copy of my driver's license..I've haven't been asked for that in over 2 years of travel. Thought it odd, but at 9pm and non-refundable at that point, what are you going to do? Room was clean, jacuzzi tub was nice differentiator from ordinary motels. Breakfast was plentiful and nice along with USA Today available. I would stay there again, just questioning the photocopy of driver's license policy.
