The bed was a little hard, but everything else was great! Complimentary wireless internet and continental breakfast. Clean rooms, convenient location. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, and safe in the room. Overall...great for the price!

It fullfilled my needs. The location was exactly what I needed and it was convenient to where I was going and local restaurants. All I was looking for was a safe place to sleep and this was certainly adeaquate.

"OK For The Money"

But check the directions to the hotel first, as Mapquest instructions to this location from I-95 are incorrect and they will put you miles away from the hotel. The PC w/printer in the hotel lobby (free to guests) was a nice touch, along with the free newspaper and breakfast. The hotel is central in location and a quick trip over the bridge to the beach.

Hotel was clean. It is old and in need of renovations. Ita a vintage HOJO. Lots of restraunts in the area in walking distance.

"Noisy Hotel"

The Hotel is like all other Hotels with the exception you can not sleep there. The AC is very noisy and has no permanent on switch so it turns on and off all night and you wake up every single time it does so. In case you do not wake up by this be sure the close by Train will.

I liked that the hotel was only about a mile from the beach and the price was right. The staff was very friendly. The cleaners were pleasant and too the time to say good morning to us. The room was comfortable and clean. I would stay there again.

This hotel excels because of the excelente price. the true is that exceeds your expectations eventhough you read the comments by others guests, you are afraid something may be wrong with it, but it was perfect. I loved the pool it has 8 feet deep, the breakfast was very healthy, definitely i would recommend this hotel to others, people are very gentle and always ready to give any information you want.

"Pretty Good for the Price and Location"

I stayed for four nights, and enjoyed my stay very much even though I was there for work. There were two things that stuck out the most during my stay. 1. The third day they totally skip cleaning my room all together, not the end of the world but worth mentioning. 2. A management staff member saw me filling up my cooler with ice, and told me that was not allowed. I finished filling the cooler up anyways, it's just frozen water! (The cooler was 1' x 2').

I recently spent 6 days at this Howard Johnsons and was extremely satisfied with the staff and accommodations. The facilities were very clean and comfortable, and I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The one area that could use improvement was the Continental breakfast - it was satisfactory, but very basic - no frills. A little more variety from day to day and more seating would be a plus.
