This hotel was better than the one we had been staying out not far from this location. The room was clean, the staff friendly and courteous. Breakfast bar didn't offer much selection was OK. Parking lot could use better lighting. It was obvious hotel is going under renovation by dumpster in parking lot but was not affected by this during our stay.

When we checked in the heater in our room didn't work but the motel repairman switched out the heater and that was great as far as I am concerned. He did it really fast and to my satisfaction.

Room was clean and comfortable. We were supplied with a more-than-adequate night's supply of shampoo and soap, which isn't always the case! Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast wasn't too bad, and was included in the stay.

Dirty sheets, dirty floors, hard mattresses, dirty bathroom. The in-room safe wouldn't even close. The TV was too big for the cabinet it was in, so it cut off an inch from the top. Our first time staying at the Days Inn, I found that the specific room that was assigned to us was somewhat small. However, the next day I manage to speak to the clerk, who's was extremely professional, attentive and showed me the perfect room, we moved in immedidately at no extra cost. Our room wasn't really as bad as others had posted. But if there is one thing in life I've learned. If you don't like what you see, speak up about it. The staff was outstanding, courteous, and very professional. The refrigerator, and microwave were great! We liked it so much that we're coming back down there to stay for another weekend. I must say, […] most hotels we've stayed at do nothing if you cannot connect to the wi-fi. I called the front desk, they rebooted the router, and I was online within minutes. Other hotels, make up some excuse about it and claim they cannot do anything to fix it until the morning. Or they make some BS, about coming to the lobby to try to connect there. The free breakfast was great! I really cannot complain. Yes the place is old, but if you are touring Williamsburg, going to Busch Gardens, etc. it is about 15 or 20 minutes away to the Outlets. Overall it was okay! Not far from the job. The surrounding area seemed okay. Plenty of restaurants locally! Had a problem with a toilet, they really never fixed, but I figured it out! They tried though! Overall, it was good!

pool water was cloudy and less than desirable for my 2 kids to play in upkeep of the room was very crowded too much furniture and to big for the room pictures show queen size beds and nice exterior but it only had 2 double beds and the playground for the kids to play behind the pool is non existant.

Very poor experience, the front-desk staff were nice, but the hotel was run down and "old". Bad neighborhood, did not feel comfortable staying there as a single woman alone. Couldn't get the internet to work - front-desk tried, but they couldn't help either. Never could get on-line. Very frustrating!!

Very nice. Do not miss the Maritime museum with the uss monitor. A little known museum that is a must see. The Hotel was good enough. But the breakfast was very limited. But right across the parking lot is a restaurant with breakfast.
